Thanks AJ. I'm not sure which vegan chef I got my favorite way to make burgers but I slice an onion into thick rings and put the burger mix inside. They stay nice and round and add even more flavor.
Looks so yummy and so simple! Looking forward to trying these soon and the sweet potato enchiladas! I’m loving the recipe videos you are putting out! Thank you for everything you do!
These look terrific, AJ. The only other thing I'd like to see included is a little more time on the finished product. Building the burger and sampling / cutting into it to show off the textures. Textures and mouth feel are important when it comes to my PB burgers. Does it turn out mushy? Does it hold together well? Do the sides crisp up a bit? Would like to see you garnish and enjoy the finished product. :) I think some pickled onions, lettuce and tomato would go terrific on these!
❤Thank you so much for a super cool recipe!!! @CHEFAJ , you do so much and you are among the best. 🙏🏼 😊 * The tip on avoiding oil was helpful too. Love cooked onions!🧅

Thank you Chef AJ. Those burgers look yummy! I noticed you have a metal tray against your backsplash. I think it's a Corona serving tray that says Victoria on it. If it is I have the same one. A friend that used to work for Eagle Distributing gave it to me over 20 years ago. I love it!
Thank you for the yummy recipe Chef AJ! I made these No Bean Burgers, and the flavor was terrific! However, the texture, was too mushy, and did "not" stick together like other plant based burgers....instead the texture was like chick-pea tuna in a bun. (btw- I did chill it over night) Also, being as the recipe was oil free, I used parchment paper, but found it almost impossible to flip at the half way point, as they fell a part in doing so...darn!! However, I loved the flavor!

Thank you for sharing this recipe with us Chef AJ, no doubt about it your hubby Charles hit the lotto when he met, fell in love with ya and married ya! I can only imagine the fragrant aroma wafting from your oven and filling your kitchen with it.🤤 Interesting to see that using some oil to cook is totally useless and not necessary, cooking better with water or veggie broth is better and healthier.🤠👍

Make sure you chill the mixture before making the burgers...you also may have needed more cooking time.
Which brand of cookware do you use?
Pampered Chef

You are very sweet--thanks!
I wish you would of showed the finished product. :(
Does your upcoming book include your German chocolate cake recipe? 😀
Yes it does!
What can we substitute for black rice?
Never heard of that and we don’t have any here
Thank you!
You can use any rice you prefer
@@CHEFAJ thank you
What do you think will be best
Bastamti
Jasmine
Brown rice
You are so adorable ❤
Aww-thank you!
How do you cook black rice?
The same way you cook white or brown rice.
How do you roast a potato?
I’m new to this lifestyle and what if there’s no white potatoes here.😊
There is a roast feature on the Breville oven, but you can also bake them. If there are no white potatoes, you can use other varieties.
@@CHEFAJ how can I roast it in my oven?
Can Idaho or russet be a good substitute
Thank you for your reply

@@CHEFAJ thank you 😊
What about using a potato masher?
Yes, you could try that
What happened to the end? We could not see them plated up?
Oven temp???
400 F
Looks good but with such limited energy I’m better off just eating the ingredients separately on a plate.
Love your chef coat. Looking good.

It is actually safer to just use your hands than to use gloves
