I drove WMT buses in early 1990s until 2011. I was at the long closed Quinton bus garage then Yardley Wood garage. Fleetlines were bloody hard work on a long shift, great in the snow though unlike the Metrobus. Lynx was magic, fast too but full of rattles and bangs especially the drivers cab window rattle, had to stuff with cardboard to silence the rattles. Wonderful days that cannot be repeated, not ever.
So many of these buses I remember, especially in that bus station. I'd have been 6 at the time and I hated it. I just remember it being loud, dirty and really dark. Disappointed I didn't see a "Little Red Bus Company" bus in this. Must've only ran a handful of times but we got it going to school and I thought it was so cool because the driver had the radio playing!

Here I would have been 23 and remember both West Midland cream and blue buses, as well as Midland Red obed!

I ate my breakfast and dinner and enjoyed Christmas party’s on the top deck of metros for 19 years 👍
