After using this phone for two weeks, I definetly noticed the lack of oleophobic coating. The screen is a fingerprint magnet and is VERY hard to clean. Wiping the prints off with a cloth worked well on almost every single phone that I've had but not this one. Since I am very irritated by fingerprints on the screen, that could have made me want to sell it. A glass screen protector fixed the issue. Still, cheap move by Huawei not to include it on such an expensive phone.

I wouldn't consider the non oleophobic screen a fatal flaw. There is such a thing as tempered glass screen protectors that have that covered. I know that for the price it should be something Huawei added but if that's the only thing that is displeasing then it's a cheap and easy fix. The phone looks amazing. Thank you for your review.

I have a personal P9 lite and a company iPhone 7, the P9 is quicker and easier to use and I especially like the rear finger print sensor. Sadly they've move it to the front for the P10, shame

TheDankezzz I have to disagree. I originally thought that too, until I got a phone with a rear mounted print reader. When holding the ph with one hand, the rear print reader is right where you naturally rest your finger. I'm sure some people will prefer a front print reader, that's fine. I don't however and won't buy a p10 on account of this.
I also think this is over exaggerated. Because of this "debate" I checked my sisters new iPhone 7, it was full of dirt and smudges. When I put my fingers on the screen it will leave fingerprints on. So the coating doesn't seem to work very well. We both use hand cream. I have an Huawei Honor 8 and it was even cleaner, my pocket in my jeans cleanse the phone 😀
The biggest issue with these propreitary UIs are the presence of double apps. Like 2 email apps, 2 gallery apps, etc., which just eat up the storage, of course it is much better now because the storage size have gone up from 8 or 16 gb around 3 years ago. If these clutters are removed, then 32 GB is also manageable. The companies should start to give us clutter free phones. They should rather invest their time into ensuring updates on their phones instead of designing these phones at least a security updates on all android phones for 2 years should be insisted upon by Google.

My first phone was a Huawei IDEOS, haha it was slow af and nothing like today's huge screen phones, but this was back in 2010.
The more fatal flaw is the Bluetooth problem of P10 to connect with other Bluetooth devices. I read more and more comments of the same problem. It is not one cellphone device problem.

The biggest flaw for me is the lack of waterproofing not the screen issue which you make out to be a big deal.
