Both JBX and Snowymoon have their own "dxgi.dll" file that goes in the win_x64 folder........if you use one, you cant use the other.....this is what I'm confused about. If I use Snowymoons dxgi.dll I can then open the menu for snowymoon, but not for JBX, and the other way around. Can you do a tutorial on how to install both JBX and Snowymoon? THANKS!
rename one :D and set config to launch that dll

So to verify...its g_reflection "3" NOT g_reflection_scale "2"? I have 3 already set but it does not show as "custom" so makes me wonder if its really the scale # since mine is set to 1
Yeah definitely the reflection scale not the reflection. Change it to 2
great video and done on a pro level good detail is the JBX mod worth it know i always been keen on this
iam use SnowyMoon with dlss but in the when I put it in the cabin the fps is between 30 and 40 but in the outside camera it is above 150 fps, is there a way to solve this or is it a problem with the game?
Why is JBX Mod 90.50 to buy, thats more than the game and DLC

I run Rtx 4090 but sometimes it lags
YES i have a 4070ti and get some lag spikes every now and then, I’ve worked out most of the kinks but would love an in depth video on the specifics!
half of the time its a modded truck that you're driving that kills your frames and the other half is over done graphics settings that you could turn down, also if you're running real AI vehicles and a realistic traffic it will also kill your frames.
@Modded ATS I have this setup and it runs good for me. The one thing I notice you didn't add was the PNG wheel particle fix. I have this loaded as well. I was wondering why you didn't use this?
I didn’t even know there was a particle fix. ETS and ATS? I Downloaded it from PNG when it was released for 1.49. Maybe he just re uploaded it.
@@lukebraddford3287 I only have the ATS PNG so I don't know about ETS. I updated my files last Friday and it was part of what I downloaded. I'm not sure when he added it.

Hey guys i need help i updated my jbx 3 and for some reason the times are off. For example its 6am in game time and its nightime. Does anyone know why?
Is running jbx3 and png noticibly better than just running png? Just 4k 300% render with png and snowymoon dlaa looks amazing already.
I'm currently running 776 mods on one profile with no problems. It's annoying AF whenever an update happens. But once all the updates are done( which) takes about a week. It runs perfectly.
Keep in mind that mods with huge textures plus scaling will blow up textures. In this case shown here, 4k plus 300% scaling equals 12k textures.
Many folks don't know that and complain about the performance. 🙄
Also changing the shadows from 4k to 8k is almost madness. The shadows still will look not good which is a problem of the engine. Even changing them to 16k won't help much. Waste of performance.
Buffet page size on the Rheinland Pfalz map needs to be set to 50. So it seems more then 30 is also ok.
What do you do when it lags your game?
Lower your settings or upgrade your pc
Wow over 100 mods i only have like 79 but i dont have thim all going at the same time

my shadow texture size is 4096 not sure if i need to change it tho always unsure of what these do and i just change my in game settings usually.

Awesome video Mike...I have a question about the config file...what do you use for the uset t_averaging_window_length value?...the default is 20 but I have heard that some players change this to a different value...any thoughts?...thanks in advance.

I had my buffer set to 40-50, but it my game runs better with 30. Much appreciated hammer! Oh does the higher sun shadows drop fps any?

Hey Mike I was having an issue I have an rtx 3060 in my new computer I had an Rx 6600 in my old computer but for some reason with switching with no mods installed I seem to have pink glad hands like there missing a texture I can't seem to find anything to go about fixing that issue my dad thinks it's setting in the control panel but I don't know enough currently to fix it
Verify the game files. And try a brand new profile. If your using the same profile you had and lets say took all the mods out, they still could be "Stuck" in the game save and cause an issue!

You actually see more of a difference with snowy moon in that fencing before the mountains. It's all jagged with it off, and clean when you turn it back on.
Hey Mike, Have you tried the Brutal Graphics free mod? It is pretty good as well. I run that with snowy moon and it looks great.

Hey Mike, nice video. Don't you think that you are running an excessive mod by using PNG weather together with JBX? In the JBX installation file it is mentioned that this file is not needed when these two run together
I prefer PNG roads to be fair and because they are not standalone JBX has a load order that includes PNG that will “overwrite” the weather as it doesn’t exist and utilize the “Base” files
