Learning more about these each day...thanks to your shares! I was wondering if this same company might get into manufacturing straight up hydrants, using the same serviceable design. If so, i will start buying and installing their hydrants too!
for standing water to prevent algae toss some 1 ft copper pipes or rods in there. i do this now and it will be how i keep algae out of my pool next yrs as well. copper is amazing. nice system, thanks for sharing.
Awesome and very comprehensive! It'd be a great people-water, too. Maybe like if someone bought many chunks of land, and put the people-water in a few different places while they develop the place (e.g. not enough money to do everything at once). Thanks for sharing this!!
That excavation work was like open heart surgery... you really dug the place up, but what a great investment in the future... water and services sorted for a couple of generations...
Your shoring is pretty flimsy and won't stop a determined cave-in. Safer if you use 4x4 lumber for more strength, and cover the dirt wall with plywood before placing the uprights. As is, any cave-in can bust the flimsy uprights or squeeze through between the uprights.
Farmers in Canada and Farmers in Italy specializing in new post water...the smart one 😊
Dean you have the best straight forward, no BS videos on TH-cam, I've watching them since you started posting them. A real blessing. Thanks.
Appreciate it. 🙏✌️
"Might have to Hawk-tuah this one!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
great job! Give us an update on how they are working one day! Thanks for putting all us to shame with your preps. It keeps me motivated!
WOW Dean you've really stepped up your system .
Im totally impressed 👍
💕🌴🤠
Just heard about these for the first time this week. Very interesting.
Wow dude! That is an amazing install and great video! I've never seen the drinking post and it seems like an amazing invention. Thank you!

Those yard hydrants are amazing. I drink straight from them daily. Straight well water
We have one of these. Best thing ever! Central Ontario 🇨🇦
thx dean. good to see you.
Working my butt off. 👍 and trying to film it. Lol
I feel ya on those 2x4s 😂🤣😂😭😭😭
You do the best stuff on your farm
Awesome system
Green water in the water bowls is negated by adding a piece of copper pipe or copper coil. Eventually clear water.
First for my arkopia education

Trenching was brutal. Such a mess. But very worth it.
Very nice. Thanks for the video.
whats my dog doing there at 0:21??
Any drinking posts for poultry chickens turkeys?
Nothjng would work for poultry
Keep an eye out for a release on the Drinking Post Chicken Waterer in 2025!
What? Awesome. I’m curious how that will work. 💪👍👍👍
@@ArkopiaTH-cam Maybe it runs on a hair trigger. Or a feather trigger.
This is what I wanted to know too! This would be amazing for geese and chickens! ☺️

It was solid & safe for my soil conditions.👍
The frost free hydrant should be repairable from the top, like the drinking fountian. Mine are....
Really? Maybe they are. Never taken one apart.
@ArkopiaTH-cam We had to repair one last year. The top unscrewed from the stand pipe and the whole inside pulled out.
Awesome. I hope mine do that. Should have looked into it more first. 🤞
winter update please
A few months away. 🥶
🤣Hawk Tuah
Hi
That almost makes me feel lazy for having bought a place with year round running springs.
Why not make the post black to absorb more heat?
Summer would make the water too hot
Good though. I am thinking a north shelter with some black tin. Would probably melt all the snow around it too. 🙂💪
@@Dirt-Fermer make it removable
would be easy enough to buy a pvc pipe just a hair oversized and slide it over in the fall and remove in the summer. have the best of both worlds.
@@adamk2894 my thoughts
The zero energy angle assumes the device is connected to a pressurized water main….
how long until this makes you a criminal
Probably all illegal already. Don’t care. 💪👍
Low energy water? Why not call it Jeb Bush water?
That's the saddest excuse of shoring I've ever seen. Not trying to be a hater bro, but your life is worth better shoring
