Isn't he just brilliant. SO engaging. You could listen to him all day. Such a nice bloke and he makes everything so simple. Some of the TV swing coaches I haven't a clue what they are talking about yet Sir Nick just makes it easy.
Back in the day took my grandson to a tournament Sir Nick was heading from the chipping area to the putting green then teeing off. My grandson saw him and ask for his autograph. He stop handed his caddy Fannie his putter and signed his hat talked to him then moved to the putting green. What a class act. Made my grandson’s day.
Clockwork Nick, ground his way to the top which has to be admired ,love him ,a great in his time.Short off the tee but accurate and consistant, putting to envy under pressure.
Sir Nick could stand there all day with tips , he s so good ,just proves first thing is Aiming , Grip , posture and balance , do the fundamental s right then work on impact , first thing Sir Nick taught me in the eighties , I was so lucky as a youngster to spend an hour with Sir Nick , it stays with you for life , I got down to 1 handicap so not brilliant but without Sir Nick I would of never got that low , well done Matt , love this channel 🏌️♂️⛳️👍
World class Video Matt! Sir Nick is brilliant and my idol in golf since I started playing. And you ate on of my favorite yt players! Thanks for the video!
passionate presentation of tips and insights from one of the most creative and mentally strong golfers ever - that's why he won 3 Opens and 3 Masters. Pure Gold this.
Fantastic tips and a great experience. For years I have wanted to find the left side of the fairway and have to change my swing so much for it. Where my right fairway is safer and more manageable.
Bunch of golden nuggets in this video but the one I’m going to key in on is the last one left shoulder under chin. Can’t wait till next range visit to try it…thanks
It appeared to me as though you were perfectly aware of what a rare blessing and privilege it was to have such a wonderful guest. I'm glad to see that you enjoyed that experience to the max! And as for the tips themselves, I think an intermediate target is one of the best but least appreciated tips in the game. It's helped my game immensely and I encourage anyone to at least give it a try! Great vid!!!
Just goes to show how much the top pros understand about their swing and all the variants thereof. It's another world. Just need Matt to dissect it all and turn it into teaching vids for us mere mortals 🙂
He is SO RIGHT. You NEED to play with things (at the range) if you want to increase your feel for the game. After 15-20 range sessions, things will begin to click as you develop an understanding of what is happening during your swing.
absolutely brilliant video Matt, Sir Nick is my all time favourite golfer, He just makes it look and sound so simple. will defiantly trying these tips in my warmup ^_^ good golf
Nick, in his heyday, had one of the greatest repeatable swings I’ve ever seen. He was my favorite tour player at the time and I’m an American that had to root against him when him and Azinger were going at it in the Ryder Cups. Great times! I miss his commentary now too.
Sir Nick is easily one of the best HOF guys for giving little tips because his are all simple and not technically. A neat little drill to try here or a little alignment idea there. Nothing about how to screw with your swing or anything to complicated, just a simple secret any grandpa might be able to tell you, but informed by the experience of a great.
Back in the day as an American I rooted against him in favor of American golfers. WHAT A MISTAKE. A true gentleman and giant of the game. I wish he won 15 majors.
Thank you for making it simple. Why the picture of a Taylor made driver on the front of this video hen Nick was actually using a Mizuno driver. Is it to prompt watchers into thinking he was using another brand
Sir Nick seems to be one of the regular guys- even tho he has every right and reason to behave as a superior royal golfer. That’s why golf connects us because we all relate to the same fantastic sport
What a great video and great to see Sir Nick Faldo! All really useful advice and I'm glad he spoke about how we are all built differently as that can impact your swing. 🏌️. Great video thanks for Sharing 👍
Brilliant golfer. Scared the pants off the best of his peers. He was just so damned consistent. If he was coming up behind them they panicked knowing one mistake and he was pst them. Rory could learn a lot from his course management.
there are many pros who would say it is much easier to not change your swing plane, but to line up right for a draw and left for a fade...Most of these tour pros now a days hit push fades, still from the inside
Love Sir Nick, but he’s not a teacher. If you need to go right hit low, left hit high. Lol. He’s very talented. Most of us watching are not. We don’t have many repeatable shots. But great content anyway. Love the channel!
I don't get the alignment of the feet and ball path causing a huge error. If I extend those two parallel lines 200 yards down the fairway, they are still the same distance apart. Of course with a putt this is important, you wouldnt aim your feet at the hole on a straight putt because you would miss a foot right. But with an iron, for those lines to end up 30 yrds apart they would have to not be parallel.
Oh settle down, Matt no doubt will have been hanging on his every word. It’s just the way he is, shows he is engaged and taking mental note and clarification. Great video 👍
Was gonna say give him a break…then about the 300th yup its all i could hear lol…idk if thats because you gave me preconceived readiness to hear it so predominantly or if it was just way over the top 🤷🏼♂️.. its great that Nick Faldo was not effected ..so assume its us
Brilliant. Probably one of the best Golf coaches in the world!
He speaks such common sense and explains the swing in layman’s terms! He is fantastic!
What a legend. Such a great teacher and a privilege to listen to.
Isn't he just brilliant. SO engaging. You could listen to him all day. Such a nice bloke and he makes everything so simple. Some of the TV swing coaches I haven't a clue what they are talking about yet Sir Nick just makes it easy.
What a privilege to spend a few minutes with golf icon Sir Nick Faldo…..even if it is via TH-cam. Thanks for the content. What a thrill.
I love Sir Nick! No nonsense, and a very straightforward instructor.
Faldo is a great coach as well as a player!

I could listen to him all day long - great content. :)

World class Video Matt! Sir Nick is brilliant and my idol in golf since I started playing. And you ate on of my favorite yt players! Thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Matt. He is a legend for sure. I do also think you may have set a new world record for the number of ‘yeah’s’ said in 13 minutes 😊
Golfing icon, legend and tipster. The British 🐐
Matt "YEAH" Fryer.......🤣🤣🤣
more like "Yut"..."Yut"...I dare someone to count 'em

Mr. Faldo is a legend and what an amazing video this is for your collection to look back on well done
Fantastic tips and a great experience. For years I have wanted to find the left side of the fairway and have to change my swing so much for it. Where my right fairway is safer and more manageable.

Matt also proved his extended vocabulary: ya.. ya.. ya.. ya.. ya.. ya.. ya.. 🤭
Nice video Matt well done
Sir Nick was a brilliant golfer , a brilliant tv commentator and also a brilliant coach .

Glad you enjoyed it
Legend Faldo, spot on with all that!
one of the best driver tip videos I have seen. Maybe Matt can avoid saying “yes” so many times during the next one!!
It's not that bad i'm 4 minutes in Matt has only said yes 40 times, averaging 10 a minute 😂
Thanks for this video Matt - really cool to listen to Sir Nick drop some truth!
Sir Nick, Legend makes it sound so simple
Absolutely superb 👍 how enthusiastic is Sir Nick! 😊so so interesting to listen to. Great video👍
Ask for three tips and we get ten. What a great guy 😊👍
What a great insight , Matt watch it back and count how many times you said yeah ! It’s hilarious.
Well done getting nick onthe channel, great stuff 👍
Brilliant 👍
Absolute legend my favourite ever golfer alongside Big Jack
Love the show everything you touch on is great. A silver wedge would be my preference.
We need a ‘yea’ counter on Matt 😂🤣
Yup

Brilliant explanation!
Nice one Matt. Just what the doctor ordered. 👍

Golf gold from a golf god.
So good. Thanks
Epic lesson! K.I.S.S. Approach, keep it stupid simple. Made me want to go to the range and practice with big muscles 💪
Faldo the machine
Why does this only have 86k views? Do young golfers not know who Faldo is?
Love this!
What's impressive about nick and other golfers of his time they learned without the help of track man and other technology.
Brilliant!
thank you !
Sir Nick with some common sense advice that many overlook. Good video.
A legend
Cool.
Thanks
Thank you for making it simple. Why the picture of a Taylor made driver on the front of this video hen Nick was actually using a Mizuno driver. Is it to prompt watchers into thinking he was using another brand
Love nick
That was great.
Gold !!!👍
Yea, yea, yea
Good stuff
Sir Nick seems to be one of the regular guys- even tho he has every right and reason to behave as a superior royal golfer. That’s why golf connects us because we all relate to the same fantastic sport
🔥🔥🔥
MP-33’s were my gamers when I was able to hit blades!
❤ sir Nick
yup many times matt
Sir Nick loves his Fado’s..! Man has forgotten more than most pros have ever learnt..
What a great video and great to see Sir Nick Faldo! All really useful advice and I'm glad he spoke about how we are all built differently as that can impact your swing. 🏌️. Great video thanks for Sharing 👍

124 yups
Great to get sir nick on Matt. But geez, how many times to you have to say yeah/yes yup 😅
Jimmy Saville and Tony Blair were also knighted, I just wish he could be referred to as humble Nick 6 times major champion golfer.
Sir Nick said he had over 50 swing thoughts before each shot when he was playing on tour.
Nicholson always lifted his left heel on his tee shots.
there are many pros who would say it is much easier to not change your swing plane, but to line up right for a draw and left for a fade...Most of these tour pros now a days hit push fades, still from the inside
Need shot tracer on his shots so we can see his theories in action. Can listen to Faldo all day. Local legend for us
No you don't. Listening the the master is suffice
Faldos a legend respect 🙏

Yah. Yah. Yah yah. Yah
I honestly used to think Han Solo played golf
How do you argue with Sir Nick?? You don't!!
Pearls indeed - was it hard to get him talking, Matt?
One tip: the constant “yups” are not needed, just let the man speak ;) Otherwise, great video! Faldo is amazing!
Oh settle down, Matt no doubt will have been hanging on his every word. It’s just the way he is, shows he is engaged and taking mental note and clarification. Great video 👍
Yup
Yup

Yep man.
Yeaht, yeaut, eyeaut.
Was going to count how many times Matt said 'yeah'... but I kept losing count! lol... think Matt was a bit nervous.
can't do the same thing and expect a different result
An Cmm)
If Matt says “yep” one more time I’m going to commit myself.
Is it true that Nick insists his wife calls him Sir Nick too?
Haha of course he is right but amateur golfers only ever want to work on their … swing !! Never fundamentals and definitely not shortgame
Stop saying "ya" bro.
Is he in the bag or what
