Yeah I have picking up near mint condition copies of original Xbox games lately since I got a HDMII adapter. Been having tons of fun with those. Latest one I got is an unused copy of Morrowind Game off the Year edition. The paper map has never even been unfolded.
I'm the guy in all black playing the guitar during the Rock Band segment. I played so much Rock Band that day and became friends with the person that was running that section. MJR, it was also a pleasure meeting you, I think I ran into you an hour or two earlier before you captured me playing Rock Band. Thanks!
That's a crazy price for the N64. I live in the UK, and you can easily find a boxed Goldeneye Edition N64 for about one hundred and fifty pounds. So if anyone wants to buy one off me for three thousand, I'm cool with that! But seriously though, its always good to check prices. Especially with the graded and sealed sellers may have outrageously differently prices than normal. Unless you want something sealed or graded for display or you are a reseller. You'll save alot of money! But seriously though, great game hunting video though!
Found one on marketplace for 20$ a few years ago, i was pretty happy ! Then saw another one yesterday in a store and totally forgot to check the price.
Great job on the video! Was super excited to run into all of you guys. However I did want to mention some things you forgot. Lots of voice actors were there for signings. The ghost of Tsushima, A TON of the halo cast, princess peach old and new, miles morales, snake from metal gear, and kratos from god of war just to name a few. Looking forward to next year!
Dude! I was looking for you! When I heard you were gonna be there I was kinda excited. I’m not gonna lie, you’re one of the only TH-camrs I still watch after years. Everyone else sold out or doesn’t make content anymore. You’re one of the og’s who remind me of a simpler time and I still enjoy watching. Were you only there on a certain day? You’re not a hard dude to miss lol
We were there all Saturday and half of Sunday. I couldn’t be there all weekend cuz my wife was in Ohio for a funeral so we had to have somebody watch our house and pets and they couldn’t do all three full days. We’ll probably go next year too. And other expos in the area. Sorry you missed me. 👍
During the Corona time, I collected a lot of Guitar Hero and Rock Band games and instruments. My girl and I played a ton of these games. Even now, we still play in the weekends with friends. Time for a comeback of these games!
Always great to get a MJR video on a Friday! This show seemed to be pretty successful for the first time out. Jason, that Gene Simmons axe bass did it for me!! I'm a long time Kiss fan as well! 🤘🏻
3:47 Lords of Magic was my first ever PC game!!!!! Still absolutely love that game today. I only bought it as a kid cause i thought it was lord of the rings related.
How was it? I was going to go but only reason I knew there was an even there was because I saw a random sign at the Puyallup Mall and it was happening that weekend. I decided not to go only because it was a beautiful weekend and decided to spend my time with wife enjoying the outdoors. I’ll have to check it out next year
One thing I like about these shows is that sometimes it's a real time commitment to make it all the way out to one store or another, so these shows let me browse the wares of dozens of stores. Retro Merch? CIB Super famicom games? Artbooks? Vinyl soundtracks? Computer stuff? If one place doesn't have it, another place will.
Harmonix is actually working with Epic Games in Fortnite with their festival mode. Each week they add like 10 new songs to the game. They're also about to release a guitar that works with Fortnite.
(5:00) I'm digging the MLB The Show cap, Reggie. I've been playing career mode on the 23 one as a dual-player pitcher and hitter. I think I may have an addiction problem now😐
Wow! $700 for CIB 'ZEN: Intergalatic Ninja' for NES!? I found my CIB copy at a thrift store a few years ago for about $5. I didn't even know it was rare when I bought it. Jeez...
it'd be awesome if someday you'd make a video about the whole experience of going to an expo, that also includes the chat with some friends, the hanging out, something more personal. I guess going to an expo it'd not just about finding games it's also to chat and meet people. just my 2 cents.
I love these game hunting and pickups videos Metal Jesus! Also has a games' slow start ever initially turned you off from a game? i had that with Lost Judgement but i went back to it recently and once it got going, i LOVED it!
I live in Puyallup. The fairgrounds are huge. Ive not stepped inside in probably 20 years? When ya live here youve had enough by the time you grow up. A gaming expo might be a reason to go tho.
That Redout game makes sense since in the original racing game, the vehicles control like spaceships. I had no idea about this one. I'll need to pick it up and Redout 2 lol.
Agreed MJR! "GO" is an amazing, Tarantino-style, movie no one talks about anymore. I'm also very happy to still have my Atari Stunt Cycle plug-n-play unit that I got for FREE from a friend back in 1981. This Expo looks awesome. Cool video.
I went there. You were listed as a meet and greet yet all 3 days you weren't at your booth for more then a hour. Everyone else was great. Reggie was super nice, Hancock and Rigs had tons to say about their projects, but your booth was constantly empty. Pretty sure these few clips are the entirety of you being there.
That Space Quest is the slash, value priced version. It's not worth $50 even. I had one and sold it for like $70. You want a copy without the "value priced" sticker.
Awesome!! I had this plan to fly over to one or more Cons in the states, but put it a bit on hold. Life and shit. But great with a other convention in that area. Must visit Seattle some day.
9:00 Welcome to the exciting fun that is MMA! I've been a big fan since around 2003ish. UFC 300 is soon, as far as good MMA games, one that comes to mind for me is Pride Fighting Championships for PS2.
Seems like a sick expo! Was there any Magic the Gathering card booths? Also do you think you'd do OK with a credit card for one of these events or is it a cash only type of place? Thanks as always MJR!
Im definitely planning on going out there next year, but i hope they can find a new date for the event , cause it also happened to be on the same weekend as Sakuracon
What a lovely video, thanks for letting us hang out with you guys. I'm fine but I just really needed this video today, was just goldilocks for my mood.
Dude I cant believe you are using that High Sierra day pack. I had the same one and wore it out. I love that extra bag on the duffle combo. Such a genius feature.
Yo my brother Ben ran into you guys there, he sent me a video of you guys giving him the metal coin. I thought that was so cool! You guys are some of my favorite people on TH-cam. Genuine video game lovers like myself and you inspire a lot of people man!
What was that person thinking when asking for US$3,000 for that Nintendo 64 GoldenEye 007 Bundle? There is one on ebay right now for £169.99 with £8.99 postage.
Thanks for the shout out! We're super stoked that you found your dream axe. 🤘
Thanks again!
I always get a chuckle seeing MJR tower over people in public. Such a gentle giant
Ever since they revealed that Kelsey has to stand on a box whenever they record their videos, it always makes me laugh whenever she shows up.
Believe it or not John Riggs is an 1" TALLER than me!
How tall are you?

Good to see Kelsey again, been a while since she's had a cameo in one of your videos.
She's got more free time coming up now, so I hope to get her on more videos.
She's on the MinnMax podcast every other week or so if you wanna hear more from her.
@battlep0t - yeah, her Hot Ones challenge this week was pretty funny.
I just got my old game collection out of storage, then got my first metal Jesus notification in a while. It's as if the gods want me to begin again
That sounds like you got some good times ahead!

I got to meet you at this Con! Was really cool to chat with you for a moment. Hope you had a good time!
I did! Thanks for saying Hi
Love these! Thanks MJR!
11:58 I had that Batman console when I was a kid! All the memories are coming back to me.
I love the videos and content you put out, this is the only channel I actually watch. Great stuff.
I appreciate that 👍
been stopping by this channel since i got my psp back in 09. so glad to see you're almost at 1m subs, long overdue!

I love these trip videos, especially when there’s a reunion. I miss all those faces!❤️👍
Love the Guitar Axe, I picked one up last year in a bundle. Definitely a display piece!
It really is!

Yep! I just felt weird trying to film them for this video since they were all charging for that. Thanks for mentioning it. 👍
Oh man, Go is SUCH an underrated movie! As a 90s raver kid, that movie, its story and music speak to my heart! Awesome video, as always!

Your videos are so relaxing and calming. I don't know what it is but thank you.
Glad you like them!
Go (1999)!!! Love that film. One of my favourite Christmas movies (read: set at Christmas time)! Awesome vid, great pickups!!
Life begins at 3am. Remember staring at that poster in my local theater like it was yesterday.
That Gene Simmons Axe is technically a Guitar Hero controller (RB instruments don't need Wii remotes). Should still work with Rock Band, though.
AH! Good to know. Thanks
Always great to get a MJR video on a Friday! This show seemed to be pretty successful for the first time out. Jason, that Gene Simmons axe bass did it for me!! I'm a long time Kiss fan as well! 🤘🏻

Always good to see a MJR / DMP combo.
Now we need a new Gamer Eats!
@@Metalman200xdamnit I don't want to see MJR eating DMP

Dude how did I miss this? I need to go to this event next year. I’m just up the hill.

@@MetalJesusRocks Nah man, i can't stick with a game for 10 hours if i'm not feeling it :)
Thing is.. 10 hours are like NOTHING, for typical JRPG times.
Thank you for this video. Pick up videos are a lot of fun to watch.
Yes they are!
Journey is an underated Arcade game, in my opinion.
I alway found myself going back to it every now and then at the arcades.
There is an expo happening in Eugene Oregon..hope to see ya there
If it wasn't a 5 hour drive from my house I would love to!

That Gene Simmons thing is also perfect for Halloween.
Hmmmm, I'm starting to realize why most Halo things I find in eBay are from the PNW. NO IDEA why I didn't put that together before 😂

The Goldeneye N64 console is only £250 in the UK.

I recognize so many vendors from Emerald City Comic Con of which I just went to.
The boxed Goldeneye N64 is like £165 GBP here in the UK (PAL Version).
