  • Today i took delivery of a GSX-S1000GT. the main aspect of getting this bike for me was the 810mm seat height compared the my previous honda cb1000r which had 830mm seat height, and here i take it out for my first ride on it to see how it compares. the main and first thing of note is the brakes, they are very different, the second is the quick shifter, it is great!

I picked mine up a few weeks ago and love it. What made it better was a puig sport screen it doesn't create that "blade" of wind at the helmet and is just a bit smaller but in a good way. The brakes are strong but not a ton of bite but I think some more aggressive pads and some good aftermarket levers will take care of that later down the road. What an awesome bike that doesn't need much at all to be perfect

    Hi
I have owned the same bike from new April 2022 now done 12000 miles, Things I like, engine riding position, looks, handling ,things not so good . Front brakes needs lot of pressure ,seat poor after 150 miles. original tyres rubbish recommend metzlers, having said that I love it owned dozens of bikes been riding for over 50 years love it

if it is not blazingly obvious from the very start, the the UI is badly designed

Just on a 3rd minute , maybe you change later, but Mode C is the rain mode , least aggressive

Only a test ride with a Honda cbr650 with the quick shifter. Was a new experience that’s for sure. Now only want a sports bike if it has a quick shifter
