I like how you talk about how you were open to advice on hamster care, but also important to remember how to phrase it when giving advice. I like to think the majority of people only want what is best for their hamsters, but that they have just been misinformed (normally by pet stores) on hamster care, exactly like you said you were.
Love listening to you and thanks for sharing and showing your beautiful healthy furbabies, I have 3 hamsters in the past of different type and they all have 2 years life only and all those 3 are missed so much I still missed them all 3 it took me at least 2 years each to get another one because each of them have different attitude first my Syrian was found on the side lake abandoned with no food no water and it was rainy afternoon I decided I took him home with me, he had 2 years of living like a prince, then I had another dwarf girl, so sweet so tame but so active every night she keeps running running running in her spinning wheel and after 2 years of running around her spinning wheel and in my bed and in my head and arms, one day I woke up one Saturday morning she was dead under her spinning wheel it left me devastated, I know she was already 2 years old but I was not prepared for her sudden death as she continue to be so hyper... then 2 years later I had my long hair pure white teddy bear albino another one who travel with me wherever I go seaside and hotel room accomodations he was with me and when he died after just 2 years it has left me heartbroken I thought I'd never have another one again as I become suicidal, they may be tiny but wow when they die it made me become so depressed. After 7 years now almost I'm turning 50 I finally got another one again just recently, I feel it's time to get another and I have fallen in love to another Syrian hamster he's a boy again and he's made me laugh so much because this one is more hyper than those previous...I hope he can live more than just 2 years, God knows what's gonna happen to me once he's gone...right now I let him rule my life ❤️🐹❤️
Thanks so much for sharing!! This has been so upsetting to those that supported and liked her. I wanted to point out that these hamsters were not rescues. They were bought from a petstore owned by a friend. The overwhelmed and out of room was an excuse that became clear later on. I appreciate you spreading that colonies is not mainstream and not what’s best for the animal!!
That is so much worse dear lord 😭 I just hope people find more information about how colonies are bad than Instagram posts about how this setup can be « successful »
On the post where she introduces the 3 dwarfs that I think make up part of this 'colony' someone asked if they were adopted and she says 'yes adopted for a fee' so did she adopt or buy 🤷 Either way it's a horrific situation.

If that’s small most hamsters are left at the pet store in small tanks for a lot of years and sometimes forever I used to work at a lot of pet stores
When is the launching taking place please
