Really happy that you took the comments in your stride. It can be really hard to feel like you could be a terrible hamster owner, or you're abusing your animal in some way. I'm glad you realised that despite the tones people are using, you can use their information to better yourself as a hamster owner. We are all still learning and it really is a journey to get to where you need to be as a hamster owner as, like you said, it's hard to sift through what is correct hamster information and what is not and we have all slipped up. Cage looks amazing and you're nailing being a hamster owner :)
Love this! The hamster community can be very critical! But as someone who is owning hamsters again as an adult I am so glad that they’re here to teach me! I have upgraded so much :) your cage set up looks so cute, looking forward to see if you get a detolf, I’m considering it too!
lol i bought the clear wheel because i was scared that my hamster would stain the wood one with her pee and it would get ruined because she only pees in her wheel lmao.
Looking good. If you want, you could add some more of that moss in the cage. Different types of herbs and sprays like millet etc are also a good enrichment for hamsters😊
Oh my wow, this cage looks absolutely amazing! I am getting a new hamster myself, and the only thing I suggest it adding a bit more hide and enrichment!! Everything else looks *french kiss*
I reccomend this channel: Seth Hamsters it's a rather small channel, as they're just starting but they seem to know what they're doing, i've been following them for a while and taking their advice and my hamsters are. soso happy.
I love it!! I had my hamsters first cage, a detolf, in natural theme and it was so fun. Now I’m doing his second in circus theme with bright colors. It’s so fun looking for things. And I look and look and look through Amazon because I can find something that I want and I will find it always from another seller for cheaper. But I’m sure cream puffs loves her cage!
Not your ordinary hamster 🐹 video! Omg! I have tears running down because I laughed so much, first the nausea faces, then the crazed person with knife 🤣🔪🤣 opening the box, the coughing 😆. Your natural hamster enclosure looks terrific. Thanks for sharing.
Make sure your bearded dragon doesn’t have loose substrate in their cage, it gets in their skin, mouth, lungs, and other things like that! So no sand or anything. Just a tip, if it’s not a breaded dragon or loose substrate sorry! No hate btw
I know this was one year ago but I do recommend sprays like wheat sprays milliet sprays or oat sprays there’s more but that’s the only sprays I remember right now
You just ended my hunt for a bendy bridge that was 8 inches in width/height 🙏🙏🙏 tysm for linking everything, I needed a bendy bridge that would be a good divider while still having enough room for burrowing and crawling around on top
Ok so please don’t think of this comment is hateful, but your bearded dragon tank looks a bit depressing in comparison to your ham’s tank. Reptiles need a lot of enrichment too. Bearded dragons need more stuff to climb, preferably lots of branches, not hammocks. Also they need a lot more bedding since beardies actually like making burrows. I would add a bit of clay so it holds shape since sand alone will just collapse. And add some greenery, it’s not that necessary but plants make everything look good. It’s so, so common seeing bearded dragons in very barren setups with virtually nothing to do but sit there, partly from Facebook karens thinking anything good and beneficial for them is dangerous and the other part being the myth that reptiles are stupid, simple animals that “do fine” with just the bare essentials like hides and water and that’s it which is not true. Also 40 gallons is an outdated minimum for beardies, they require a 4x2x2ft minimum (120 gallons), ideally they need something larger or taller than that. Ik this video is focused on hamsters but yeah I just wanted help out your beardie too so he doesn’t get left out. Btw I LOVE your editing, it’s hilarious lmao.
Maybe you should add like soft hay on top the bedding so the bedding can be stable and also you could add like dirt since your gonna upgrade the cage and more cork log and the sticks
I often see things, even in some ginormous enclosures that I personally wouldn't do (high platforms for dwarf hamsters, huge amounts of different sprays which may stop them eating their regular food, deep soil type substrates which could dry out and potentially collapse, using cardboard from outer parcels which could be contaminated etc etc), but rarely feel the need to comment unless it's something definitely dangerous! You're right, everyone has their own way of doing things and knows their own hamster best e.g some hamsters probably just nibble the sprays and don't overindulge or they regularly spray the soil to keep it safe. There isn't only one right way. There needs to be room for different opinions, in animal care, and in life! 40 gallons sounds perfect for a roborovski but a detolf would be great too. I'm sure she's very happy.
Ohhhh I'm so excited now, I just bought that wheel yesterday and it'll be here Thursday. My poor hammie, Penguin, doesn't have an appropriately sized wheel yet. As many things as I've updated over the last few months, I completely forgot the wheel and she's so bored, she's biting all over her cage. I felt so bad, but now I'm so happy she will love it!
So glad you got a lid! I made a comment about it on your last video and you did an amazing job. I will mention that your beardy should have a cage that's at least 4 feat long like a 75 gallon.
okay this is so weird but ive got a new obsession with your channel, while you're playing I'm browsing amazon like I do and I SEE YOUR REVIEW ON THE AMAZON HAY BAGS okay I love you byeeee
I love all the hamster stuff you have and those guinea pigs are the cutest and if you ever need advise if here I live on a farm and I can ancewer all your questions I had experience since I was a baby

You might wanna add a fence (mini popsicle sticks work great) on the bridge just so she doesn’t fall off, it’s a pretty big fall and hamsters are pretty clumsy lol Otherwise I absolutely love the cage it’s so cute
Keep in mind the spider plant seeds are toxic, so they need to be removed. I also don’t recommend any plants, real or fake, for hamster cages, since they do require water which is not safe for hamsters to be exposed to aside from a water bowl. Hamsters come from very dry areas, and water ruins the oils in their coat and increases their risk of shock and death.
I love your hamster home it’s beautiful. What kind of moss is safe to use because today I went shopping and there were a lot of different types and the person at Petco didn’t know which was safe for hamsters. Thanks love your video!! Your doggy is adorable 💖💙
Hey could you see how many inches the wheel is from the stand part to the top because I want to see if it would fit in my gerbils cage with all of the bedding they have please thank you
it's cute but i personally think you need to add more green to settle the brown because it's a bit overused. otherwise, cute tank and care! i really love your channel :D
Btw just be careful with the bendy bridge because my poor dwarf hamster got her leg stuck in between it and got it stuck it fully swell up and it’s only just come back down so just be careful 💗
Woww very big cage and amazing for your hamster ❤️❤️ I do recommend more bedding I don’t know what type of bedding that is but be carful some can poke your hamsters eye or fall on your hamster and the wood if it’s edible the wood cave I don’t thigh your should have that in the cage some hamsters will eat it and they can’t eat all of it and it can hurt them.
