Yeah, there is no native integration. But you should be able to sync a sub alongside the HomePod Mini as long as the sub is compatible with Apple AirPlay 2.
I just unplugged it. Garbage. You can’t even get any honest reviews on the difficulties. Everyone is just saying how it can do “everything”. Maybe so, but not without a lot of re-setting and finagling all the time. No thank you. Devices should just do what you want, simply and clearly. “Smart device” is another name for “waste your time.” So sad. I’ve been an Apple fan since the very beginning. This is the first time I’ve been truly disappointed. Very, very, very disappointed.
If Apple can make such great sound quality, why won’t they just make a simple speaker that works. No gimmicks. No fussing and fighting. Just a speaker.

I think the sound quality probably deserved more emphasis. The superior sound quality alone is worth the cost.
