For people who actually think Slade "missed" with those gunshots, he intended to scare them only. Remember he said in another episode that he wants to torment Oliver "slowly", so he's not going to instantly kill them all, he wants the thrill of them being afraid of him. It's not an error, that's his intention.
If Slade was there with the intent to kill... they'd be dead in seconds, no matter how good they are. This is Deathstroke we're talking about, the guy who went toe-to-toe with Batman and matched his skill.
Correct, he was just messing with them. If you remember, he told Brother Blood that he was going to torture Oliver by slowly destroying everyone he cared about. He wouldn't just go up and kill them all at once.
farhanpwns Definitely messing with them. Slaughtering them then would have been too kind for him. He had a greater punishment for Oliver in mind. He wanted to terrorize them by proving even their HQ wasn't safe from him.
+farhanpwns He's messing with them. He was there at the "Arrow Cave" to retrieve the skeleton key. But he stuck around to wipe the floor with them to send them a message. There was nowhere in Starling that they were safe from him. Hitting them in their own home base was demoralizing, which at that juncture was exactly what Slade was trying to do. Break their spirit before making them watch their city burn, then end them.

@@CaptainThugRdx Its called plot armor. Hes the main character, obviously he's not going to lose. He shouldn't have beat Ra'a Al Ghul either. Ra's has been training for over a century and has mastered every martial art including every weapon. Oliver had 7 years of training and had mastered nothing
Dead channel No, the main character isn’t going to be killed off. Years of training don’t mean shit? So if I’ve been boxing for 1 year, it means I can go fight Andre Ward who’s been boxing all his life right? You really think 7 years of training is going to beat 100+? You sound dumb.

Jared Lancaster Yeah. Even though that version of Deathstroke wasn't faithful to the comics in the least, he was by far my favorite version of the character, thanks in no small part to Ron Perlman's outstanding voice acting.
Building Deathstroke through 2 Seasons was excellent. It's a little reminiscent of what they did with Clark and Lex in Smallville. Starting them as friends then seeing them turn against each other, it made Slade feel like a very personal villain to Oliver. Also the fear was there, Oliver knew how skilled he was, how powerful he was, heck, he literally taught him how to fight. Wonderful villain, they won't ever top Deathstroke
Absolutely agreed. Even without the Mirakuru, Slade is a beast. I think he could still go toe-to-toe with Oliver tbh. The reason he lost to Oliver in season 2 is because Felicity injected him with the Mirakuru cure. The fact that Slade was still standing after being injected, was a remarkable feat already, as all of his soldiers just dropped immediately. Not only that, but he was still holding his own against Oliver. Oliver was pretty beaten up after their fight and could barely walk. That should tell you how skilled he is. Then, afters years of confinement, he rushes into a warehouse and starts cutting through trained mercenaries like butter, so yeah, even now, I think he could ATLEAST give Oliver an insanely hard fight.
Was just thinking the same. The fact that Oliver waited so long to attack Slade while Dig was fighting shows he was a little nervous about facing off with him.. Oliver knows what Slade js capable of
100% agreed there dude. Deathstroke is by far the Best Arrow villain. I will say either Prometheus or Ricardo Diaz were a close second and 3rd. It seemed like the really broke him too
Deathstroke's costume is awesome, but the mask definitely could have been better. They should have just used the one from the flashback's on the island, that mask was perfect.
To all the idiots that say he's a bad shot, he wasn't trying to kill them. Now if he did, then the show would've ended right there, which wouldn't make much sense.

The suit is something that they mastered in the Arkham Games; the mask looks great especially, with the black side being completely flat, without any dents or bulges near the eye.
Definitely. It's made Slade original comics attire and even his Injustice armour look pretty lame. The Arkham Origins style costume is the one Deathstroke should always have from now on
+Tommywood no.. deadpool would win due to instant healing factor and could just pull out his sword that stops healing factor to kill slade, deathstroke is faster stronger and more skilled but it doesnt matter because deadpool cant die
+cjonesabc I agree that Deathstroke isn't going to be able to kill Deadpool, but he would still probably win, definitely If Deathstroke was aware of how strong Deadpool's healing factor is. He would be going for a neck shot from the start of the fight, and being a much stronger, faster, and more skilled fighter he would get it before Deadpool could get his. You know. For a TV budget, the costume was not as bad as I thought it would be. The footage that Ben Affleck released had a better costume, I thought, but this one's not bad. Although that's probably helped greatly by Manu Bennet.
This is such a badass fight, my jaw dropped the instant I heard Slade's voice. Still question why diggle punched the mask but hey Oliver finally used those sticks in a fight!

Agreed but like Ledger's interpretation of the Joker, Manu's interpretation of Slade is unique. I bet they'll have Joe's Slade as the more comic accurate Deathstroke. A mercenary instead of someone with an obsessive vendetta and revenge mission like Manu in Arrow
Sharan Mudda I think Joe will do great. He's got the look, he's a good enough actor and he seems to be really excited about it. Why choose between Manu and Joe when you can enjoy both?
Deathstroke: "Don't you forget who taught you how to fight kid!" ( raspy voice from the back) Batman: "How about you fight me instead". Deathstroke: (looks terrified runs like a girl)
I am sure they would do that in a heartbeat, but there are probably a bunch of legal reasons why they can't. The producers of "Gotham" are complaining already about "Arrow" taking too many of their villains, what would they say about Nightwing?
So Oliver used to have this strong brave woman as a partner who jumps first at a fight and now he is with the girl that he always has to protect, I miss those times
so badass lol hits him with the ko shot and says don't forget who taught u how to fight kid I gotta say, basing green arrows skills on the show from him learning from Deathstroke was brilliant
I can’t believe i actually met Manu Bennett, the guy who plays Deathsroke. I got his autograph, and it says “don’t forget who taught you how to fight, kid! To Alex from Slade”
Its Deathstroke not Slade, there is A WHOLE LOT of difference... I wanna point out that this was not accurate at all Deathstroke could've killed everyone with one shot each he is a REAMARCABLE MARKSMAN
Dilsoc If I remember right he went there to steal a piece of equipment. He could have just left with before they got back but he stayed to beat them up just to screw with them before he launched his evil master plan. So he wasn't really trying to shoot them. And Slade is Deathstroke. They almost always just called him Slade on the show.
most likely he was toying with them, he wanted olivers suffering to be drawn out so never made any serious attempt to kill any of his team in that scene
Before you complain, Slade missed all those shots at the beginning on purpose , he was absolutely toying with and showing them that they are not safe and that he can kill them at any point
Eh. 5 is okay. It also has the problem of lacking in the fight choreography depart, that's just a problem that's started since the mid Season 3 and it hasn't stopped in 5

@@ShadowNightWarriorThey spent Oliver's first two years on the island together. He taught him how to fight in that period of time.
How will Joe Manganiello overcome this awesome guy
Agreed but like Ledger's interpretation of the Joker, Manu's interpretation of Slade is unique. I bet they'll have Joe's Slade as the more comic accurate Deathstroke. A mercenary instead of someone with an obsessive vendetta and revenge mission like Manu in Arrow
Sharan Mudda I think Joe will do great. He's got the look, he's a good enough actor and he seems to be really excited about it. Why choose between Manu and Joe when you can enjoy both?
He won't.
this is awesome. all hail deathstroke
Kid never could beat me in hand-to-hand, didn't do any better with escrima sticks
Hi Slade Wilson! How's Wade? How you doin?
I love that Sara grabbed the salmon ladder pole!
That shit was so epic I miss arrow like this closest thing CW got to a Batman
damn...Sara got dashed!!
Deathstroke: "Don't you forget who taught you how to fight kid!" ( raspy voice from the back) Batman: "How about you fight me instead". Deathstroke: (looks terrified runs like a girl)
Deathstroke kicks batmans ass
Deathstroke has won 3/4 times against Batman lol.
Slade has beaten Batman before
u are talking abou the same batman that got his ass kicked by Bane? and could barely beat a clown?
***** these people brining comics into life action adaptations...
Deathstroke just looks so... bulky...
he has lots of armor and padding, before he looked quite lean, they may have updated the look for season 3 though
LoL Stacker deathstroke relies more on his agility, reflexes, and tactics than his armor. Lots of padding and armor would just slow him down.
Fbiguy ahhh ok
You should see him move in other scenes/episodes. He's fast and very brutal. This fight was just to make a point.
LoL Stacker As far as I know he's not going to be in season 3.
When Arrow wasn't Felicity and Friends
The disrepect from Slade here. Disrespecting the heroes in their own home base.
The part where Slade said “Don’t forget who taught you how to fight kid” was hella badass
If only the Flash and his Team could see Deathstroke in action in 2022. Damn that would be good
Fighting with escrima sticks is NIGHTWING'S thing! Just get him on the damn show already!!!!
I am sure they would do that in a heartbeat, but there are probably a bunch of legal reasons why they can't. The producers of "Gotham" are complaining already about "Arrow" taking too many of their villains, what would they say about Nightwing?
Darth Vraak In their defense Arrow came out first.
Arkhuman11 Yeah but he should use more of his Villains then Villains from Gotham.
Darth Vraak Gotham can't even use Nightwing, he won't even be born over the course of the series.
Well, they could always change his origin story to fit in the show, but I hope they won't do it.
"Don't forget who taught you how to fight kid" coldest line of that season
1:22 That’s good choreography.
Sucks that it was so dark, I could barely see the swords
Out of all the fight scenes in Arrow this is my favorite one. When Oliver fight's Slade
So Oliver used to have this strong brave woman as a partner who jumps first at a fight and now he is with the girl that he always has to protect, I miss those times
lol true
Best Deathstroke scene in Arrow for me.
"The End" had me dying. XD
Greatest villain in the greatest season of Arrow. Fight scenes were great, acting, directing and writing all great. Went downhill after season 3.
Didn’t DIG notice that the first bullet didn’t do anything.😂😂😂
Still worth trying to look for a weak spot.
so badass lol hits him with the ko shot and says don't forget who taught u how to fight kid
I gotta say, basing green arrows skills on the show from him learning from Deathstroke was brilliant
SLADE WAS LIKE JASON VOORHEES IN THIS SCENE!!!!!!
We need a Deathstroke Series or Movie with Manu Bennett as Slade🔥👍
Yes
So I see that Deathstroke attended the Stormtrooper Academy of Accuracy.
The series is a jewel for The CW Very Incredible and great
I can’t believe i actually met Manu Bennett, the guy who plays Deathsroke. I got his autograph, and it says “don’t forget who taught you how to fight, kid! To Alex from Slade”
An awesome scene, I loved it BUT they stretched it a bit with Slade firing that hand gun almost thirty times without reloading.
Its Deathstroke not Slade, there is A WHOLE LOT of difference...
I wanna point out that this was not accurate at all Deathstroke could've killed everyone with one shot each he is a REAMARCABLE MARKSMAN
Dilsoc
If I remember right he went there to steal a piece of equipment. He could have just left with before they got back but he stayed to beat them up just to screw with them before he launched his evil master plan. So he wasn't really trying to shoot them. And Slade is Deathstroke. They almost always just called him Slade on the show.
nah originally not the same that gets me mad
most likely he was toying with them, he wanted olivers suffering to be drawn out so never made any serious attempt to kill any of his team in that scene
I actually fucked up big time im sorry
This is why S2 will be the best arrow season
DS is bulletproof?
sick lol
He has armor on and has mirakuru in him which makes his body invulnerable to almost all hand weapons
Im digging Olivers stick fighting technique.
the look on their faces when they so deathstroke lool
Before you complain, Slade missed all those shots at the beginning on purpose , he was absolutely toying with and showing them that they are not safe and that he can kill them at any point
Back when Arrow was good
And will return to shit soon enough.
If only the fight scenes were still this good now.....
They are now
When Arrow was a legitimately good superhero show, before the dawn of Olicity in Season 3.
The only thing that kept season 3 tolerable for me was Roy being arsenal but now that he's gone the show is complete shit
@@allheroesscenes1527 we Felicity is an annoying character Felicity is trash but olicity fans are worse than trash .
Watched all 8 seasons. For me this fight scene alone is better than anything put forth by DC on the big screen.
Wonder how Ra's Al Gul would fair against deathstroke with the miriquta
I'm pretty sure that Ra's al Ghul would kill Mirakuru Deathstroke.
+Ritchie88 nah Ra's would get stomped
+Ritchie88
U do know the healing factor of marakuru and Slade has beaten Ras before
Deathstroke have never beaten Ras al ghoul before.
Probably Deathstroke, especially if this were Comic Deathstroke. But in Arrow, DS would probably still win, but only with the Marakuru.
Favorite line from this scene was"Don't Forget Who Taught You How Too Fight"!!
Season 2 of Arrow was fucking incredible, they've really kind of gone down hill since but if you haven't watched the show. Stop at season two lol
nick romo season five has been pretty epic so far
Watch season 1,2 and 5, and a bit of season 3, season 5 is at episode 8 but is already better that 3 and 4, its good
Eh. 5 is okay. It also has the problem of lacking in the fight choreography depart, that's just a problem that's started since the mid Season 3 and it hasn't stopped in 5
+Shock Vox (Soldier K) Its actually pretty good imo, the story actually works, the fighting isn't stupid and the characters are great.
The last Great season of Arrow!
I think s5 was a good season
@@BoomShax123yeah, he isnt asking what you think, hes stating a fact not a question
@@wDs_death I was only saying my opinion sorry bossman next time I won’t comment then
