I diddent need a fly in front of this taper because the Predator line was catching alot of fish without the fly. Anyway seriously i love this line as it does the job and does the job well
It can, but it does have a coldwater core and coating, so will start to get soft as temps increase. It should be good at 90, but once you get high 90's, it will be pretty soft
Both will carry those well, and it shouldn't matter which you go with. The OB is better for pure distance, and the Predator for closer range, mending and line control, so I'd make your decision based no which serves those needs better. Hope that helps...

Yes, that's exactly what they are replacing, and have a far better taper for big flies than the BN ever did.
