If you bother to read actual ruling the court said from this day forward. Means not going to rehash the past regulations that All agencies made. If court did allow this and courts would be tied up for next 1000 years. Unless Congress does something and removes all unlawful regulations. Now if new president comes in and removed regulations that where not passed by congress and not signed by President that's different story too. But Congress has passed laws or EPA standards under bush and Obama. SORRY you still cannot remove DPF, EGR, SCR or DEF

Look at the NFA they completely ignore that and the BOR so why would this be any different granted that’s the ATF not the EPA but you get the point. Still just another government agency thinking they can just do whatever they want!
Each regulation has to be specifically challenged in a court before the regulation gets removed. To do that, you must have standing, which means getting caught violating the regs.
Alaska boy here. We have no problem burning oil to make more oil with these drilling rigs. Guarantee that thing puts out more emissions in an hour than 100 trucks put out in a day

I don't understand why anyone would think def or egr systems would make a diesel burn cleaner. If you want a cleaner burning diesel add butane in the combustion cycle and the upside you get more power. It all comes down to the government getting a kick back off all the emissions systems.
What about the fact that tree huggers argue that we need to save trees. But when a forest lights up, it pollutes enough carbon to cover multiple states. (or provinces depending on where you are)

Exhaust temps can reach 1600 degrees on regens. EGRs on diesels recirculate soot into the intake, Plug EGRs, Plug egr coolers, the carbon damages cylinders, 2006 and earlier are pre emission and will last twice as long as a emissioned diesel.

I live in Delaware and I just got my first diesel, an 01 lb7, love that thing ! Here this year they just changed the rules. We have a bi anual safety and emissions inspection, all diesels 2007 and older only have to do the safety check, but 2008 and up now they’re actually checking through the obd 2 ports for readiness monitors, when before all diesels were just safety inspections but now they cracking down on all deleted trucks due to it
I can't help but think that if people hadn't been out rolling coal on the streets, nobody would have noticed. Kinda like people robbing banks and posting pics of themselves with the money online. My diesel runs fine without being deleted and I can't afford to replace it anyway.
There are two different types of diesel modifications- those who just want to "roll coal" and those who want to increase reliability, efficiency, and in the process, increase power. This video is about the second group. It's sad that federal regulations cause a decrease in reliability and, ironically, fuel economy. It's even worse that those who simply want to make their trucks more reliable and efficient can be fined for doing so.
People have forgotten how bad smog was before emissions controls were bought in to help clean the air. I'm pleased with the job the EPA has done even if it does make my hobby more difficult. As for the people flaunting violations of federal law on social media and in public, it's hard to be sympathetic. If you're going to violate the law, you don't advertise it. I think it's good shops get shut down for it. They tend to leave individuals alone.
Diesel tech fixed the smog not epa. Tunes trucks run better and cooler. Egr kills every truck eventually and causes all kinds of problems on the way. Just like the plastics push they have created a disaster . Deleted trucks get a few mpg better also. @quademasters249
Isn’t it worse for our environment to contribute to the consumerism that goes with having to buy new trucks and parts? Why not allow us to run cleaner? I live by three major airports in California and air traffic is way up recently. That’s the real problem! Not small trucks out here just trying to have better power for towing and better mpg because diesel is extremely expensive. But! Noone wants to hear my opinion
WHY..? The air lines pay expensive lawyers who lobby congress/senate. You diesel owners do not fund law firms to lobby senators to keep the EPA of your backs. Blue collar workers and their unions AFL/CIO UAW teamsters / etc. keep funding liberal democrats. Funding liberals in congress for the last 150 yrs. has its results. Stop whining working man. You keep voting for these people. Like the oil pipeline welder's union. So where are they working NOW. Still standing in line at the unemployment office? No cure for Xtupid.
There was a trucking place in Grand Rapids,MI that was busted for it as well. They even pinched their mechanics too at the same time. The diesel mechanics get pinched for it as well and is on their records as well. Gale Banks and FASS already said they will not sell the delete kits. The military issued diesel trucks have no emissions from the factory
Great video brother! Another reason why we all need to keep our older trucks running (lbz, 5.9 Cummins, 6.0s, 7.3). I’m selling my newer ram and keeping older stuff
Crazy how I have a 2019 cummins and I’m probably going to have to go in sometime soon and do the flat tappet conversion because the hydraulic lifters. Pretty sure my Cummins is ticking because of a bent pushrod or the lifters/camshaft are worn. 55k miles
I just run my old 5.9 24v in my truck. It’s fully legal and doesn’t even need a catalytic converter since it is so clean. So many people around here run these and 12v in brand new trucks. No emissions junk and totally legal.
The EPA has become a loose cannon. They have ruined diesel engines with all these regulations. The DPF was bad enough, but the DEF and SCR systems made newer diesel engines more expensive to maintain. This is why Ford introduced the 7.3 Godzilla spark ignited V8 as an alternative to the 6.7 Powerstroke. The EPA has also ruined household appliances with their Energy Star program. High efficiency washing machines don't do a good job at washing clothes because they use too little water.
I had a firm that has a *few* diesel pickups they use hard. Every one is deleted. I asked “WHY DID YOU TELL ME?” He has charts the first 6 months mikes, gallons fuel. Then next 2 years. It NEVER was as poor mpg as when factory. Yes first 10k might be break in. But he said they did not have aftermarket hitch installed yet. So much lighter loads.
The government also changed diesel fuel so that our cp4 pumps burn up. The same pump is used overseas and has minimal issues. Repair bills alone would run over 1 billion dollars only counting each vehicle once at the median failure rate.
I don’t mind the DPF catching the soot. I’m not a fan of the big black clouds trailing diesels, the EGR is what bugs me. I dont want to run that soot back through the motor and get all that carbon build up in there. Sounds like there’s a tune that can shut off the egr though?
I'm in California and sold my cabover and my pre-emissions 2007 5.9 Cummins to a friend. Newsom and his supermajority won't sleep until every diesel is eliminated here and the common worker is starved do to high transportation costs. The buyer figures he's got five more good years to drive it. From here it'll go out of state.
Big companies that have pollution coming out of stacks. Avoid cleaning them up by. Buying emission credits from the commodity market -from brokers that market the credits from non polluting companies So large polluters never clean there emissions they just keep buying credits. Quite a system
so I have an 2022 Chevy 2500 Diesel I live in California so the state requires an smog check on an 2 year old truck lol crazy man usually brand new cars get smog 6 years after you have you purchased them new way to go EPA state of California the air will be much cleaner and safe so we can walk outside.

Step 1: Trump 2024 Step 2: layoffs of 3 letter directors and their subordinates Step 3: investigations/ indictments for officials who abuse their power and throw them in a federal penitentiary.
That emissions stuff is there for a reason. It takes very complex equipment to measure emissions and when you make modifications you don’t know when you are making the emissions worse.
It's interesting to read the comments. I especially like the comments about EGR Valves. About Reburning the Exhaust Gas. There is nothing there to Reburn. The Exhaust gas is used as a Free no cost "Inert Gas" to bring the peak Combustion Chamber temperatures below the temperature at which Nitrogen burns (Combines with Oxygen). Nitrogen combining with Oxygen is what causes Oxides of Nitrogen Emissions (NOx). I'm absolutely positive that I won't be able to educate anyone but it's fun to try. Because of the type of fuel diesel engines burn there will always be a Particulate Emissions problem that affects the abilities of the Catalytic Converter. Because of the Compression Ignition style of Combustion there will always be an Oxides of Nitrogen Emissions problem. What can I say? I have a Degree in Automotive Technology and Engineering and 50 years in the business. I'm also an Honorably Discharged Vietnam Era Veteran, Jet Engine Technician, on B52 Bombers and KC135A In Flight Air Refueling Tankers.
I knew this was going to happen to another shop! .... after the new laws. They were just waiting on someone else to target and fine. How petty ! What a sad world we live in.
Take the epa to court. Stand on your rights and don't waiver. Chevron deference is off the table so there is a better chance. Plus who is the epa to think they have the authority to enforce any so called statute. Have these laws be properly promulgated in the federal register to be enforcable? Rudy's need to hire some constitutional law assistant.
Guys, the EPA HAS NO AUTHORITY!!!! Here is the point... You have to sue them in order to get satisfaction! Just because EPA makes a rule doesn't mean they can enforce them in law. Lastly, the EPA is registered as a For Profit Corporation possing as a government agency.

@@Staywoke7909 the trucks were reliable until the EPA stepped in and told the manufacturers how they had to build the truck engine to EPA Specifications to make the air cleaner, you can only go so far to clean up a diesel engine until the engine doesn’t preform like it should and reliability is gone, diesel engines aren’t designed to be this clean, you can’t burn light weight oil such as diesel fuel and expect it to burn as clean as the EPA thinks they should without problems!!!

@@Staywoke7909 The EPA makes rules with no regard as to whether they are realistic. They couldn't care less if it becomes impossible to manufacture a vehicle that meets their rules, in fact they would likely embrace an end to all motor vehicles (as can be seen by making EVs exempt from many manufacturing and safety regulations). To say it's up to the manufacturers to meet the new regulations would be like passing a regulation that says humans are only allowed to take 10 breaths each day to reduce CO2 emissions. Now you have to learn to regulate your breathing to only take 10 breaths each day. Is that realistic? The manufacturers are forced to make the decision to either build less reliable vehicles that meet EPA rules, or stop manufacturing them completely. Obviously their only realistic option is to compromise reliability in order to decrease emissions.

They can still slap people with fines even after the Chevron thing was pushed out? Weird.
I Thought the same. If it's not recognized or respected....."they are just doing their jobs' durr da durr! 😅
Chevron gives you a chance in court, it doesn't change their cult like obsession w/offshoring pollution to pretend they've made the air cleaner. The courts (in case you haven't noticed) aren't exactly the bastion of honest peers we've been led to believe.

Guarantee that thing puts out more emissions in an hour than 100 trucks put out in a day
I always laugh when someone rolls coal. It's just unburned fuel. I have a Commercial license and drove semi's for 17 years. I hated the regeneration and DEF crap. I don't even have a diesel pickup. This is a HUGE DEAL. It is government pushing their wight because they can get away with it. They killed PEANUT over a technicality.
I don't understand why anyone would think def or egr systems would make a diesel burn cleaner. If you want a cleaner burning diesel add butane in the combustion cycle and the upside you get more power. It all comes down to the government getting a kick back off all the emissions systems.
Control over the working class,,
That sucks. I just bought a new turbo from them eight months ago. Great company to work with.
What about the fact that tree huggers argue that we need to save trees. But when a forest lights up, it pollutes enough carbon to cover multiple states. (or provinces depending on where you are)

The epa don’t pay not one truck note how they gone dictate what we do with our trucks
because they are tyrants
Because we allow it.
They try to do this with 18 wheelers but figured it out that the EPA eats food as well and It won’t get to there fridge due to fleet companies going out of business due to insanely expensive def brake downs , almost 90% of 18 wheelers are deleted. America runs on Deleted Diesels not Dunkins.
Sold my LB7 today. Gas only for me from now on. Thanks for all the help and awesome videos 🫡
As a Libertarian I detest government overreach! I am for aftermarket items that can improve performance and reliability. I also want air breathability standards for all of us. Having said this, I'm not a huge fan (as cool as it looks) of rolling coal just for ego gratification and showing off.
Thanks for keeping us informed, just now getting service back from storm, got alot of catching up to do.
Yeah they don't want to kick in my door while I'm sleeping, some ones getting shot! I know you're still young ( compared to me ) but lifting that big tire up; I let the truck down and just slide the tire on. Trust me when you get older you'll wish you did too. Cheers
I live in Delaware and I just got my first diesel, an 01 lb7, love that thing ! Here this year they just changed the rules. We have a bi anual safety and emissions inspection, all diesels 2007 and older only have to do the safety check, but 2008 and up now they’re actually checking through the obd 2 ports for readiness monitors, when before all diesels were just safety inspections but now they cracking down on all deleted trucks due to it
Oh you're in Delaware? Say hi to Joe for me if you happen to him on the beach! 😂😂
@@jimalton1564 but the other group brings attention to the first.
Oh so it’s okay for the government to buy brand new diesel GOV’s with 0 emissions but we get in trouble for the same thing! Absolutely ridiculous!
Support right to repair and 3rd party ability to make replacement parts for everything.
It’s bad when i have an lbz and it wouldn’t pass inspection without a muffler here in Missouri, they said that it’s against emission laws 🤦
Where in missouri? I'm in missouri as well and have never had an issue!
Get Tennessee registration
There was a trucking place in Grand Rapids,MI that was busted for it as well. They even pinched their mechanics too at the same time. The diesel mechanics get pinched for it as well and is on their records as well. Gale Banks and FASS already said they will not sell the delete kits. The military issued diesel trucks have no emissions from the factory
Because men are getting weak and won't stand up to shit anymore.
Everyone keep voting Democrat what can go wrong?
Like I tell everyone else "When you vote democrat you get exactly what you voted for"
We appreciate you brother thank you for the heads up and info
I'm glad I have my LB7!
Pre DEF forever! lol. Still rocking lb7, might consider lbz in the future, but never an emissions truck
I hate the fact that this emissions control is on the trucks. All my issues with my 2018 3500 HD L5P have been with the DPF system.
All kinds of weird things happen when you chock off the engine with endless wiring and sensors that are not needed and early failure occurs..
I won't even land in California when i come to the USA. I'm landing in DFW
Big companies that have pollution coming out of stacks. Avoid cleaning them up by. Buying emission credits from the commodity market -from brokers that market the credits from non polluting companies
So large polluters never clean there emissions they just keep buying credits. Quite a system
How much emissions equipment is on any military vehicles? What about all the private/commercial planes?
so I have an 2022 Chevy 2500 Diesel I live in California so the state requires an smog check on an 2 year old truck lol crazy man usually brand new cars get smog 6 years after you have you purchased them new way to go EPA state of California the air will be much cleaner and safe so we can walk outside.
If we were to have a change in leadership in Washington would this problem improve?
Yes. Yes it would. Vote Trump.
Ineedatune for my 24 2500HD ZR2 Bison with the refreshed L5P. Duramax Tuner told me that they are working on the ecu hack. I'm guessing HP Tuners is close to busting the code.

That emissions stuff is there for a reason. It takes very complex equipment to measure emissions and when you make modifications you don’t know when you are making the emissions worse.
How much emissions come out of the bombs we make.

So no privacy if the government knows what you shop for and buy online! how is that information just available to them?
