He is in similar to Corey Glover, David Lee Roth, and the vocalist for Fishbone,in the sense he has a R&B/Soul sound as a singer. Not the typical screaming/yelling vocals that are in metal.
lajon is the best metal singer i have ever heard. i'm more of a thrash guy myself and don't care much for nu-metal, but sevendust are amazing. lajon's voice is so powerful.

Never underestimate how important a great drummer is to live performances. A drummer on time and in the pocket can make up for a lot of mistakes elsewhere in a song or a mix. Morgan Rose is a monster. And his backup vocals are 🤌🏼
I forgot how low Vinnie used to have his bass...almost hitting the ground when he bent over.. look how long that fkn strap is!!! lol They always sound amazing and have such killer stage presence.
Will say..this is the band I've seen like 12 times..pretty much every time is the shit..they are so awesome to see live..my last time seeing them was at the house of blues in boston..what a damn show!!🤘

They did blow up. They were just underrated for their time period and even now. I've opened for these dudes with my band like four years ago and they were so nice to us. Especially with us never really playing with bands like them, Korn, Godsmack, etc. Also Head from Korn asked for our cd and said he loves our music. It was just unreal because I love his bands music and have looked up to them since before I played music. We play heavier music then what he plays in his band and he said he loved it and would like to see us come out with them again. He also took a picture with me and gave me a long sleeve Korn Tee shirt.

This performance right here is peak 7D and I’d put them toe to toe with anyone, ever. Lajon’s voice is one of the top voices ever, and these guys f#%*ing own. This is also their best song imo.
