There are videos on TH-cam about how Rolexes are assembled and explain how the watch works. And it really is a precision-based and time consuming task to assemble a great timepiece. The engineering and designing of the mechanisms is absolutely mind blowing.
This video does not educate us in any way and really overshadowed how much time and effort was put into designing, manufacturing of all the parts of the timepiece, and the careful process (done with the hands of an extremely experienced craftsman)of assembling the timepiece.

if you wanted to see what's inside of a Rolex you could just take it apart pice by pice and avoid destroying it, another thing, it's not a big thing just for older generations, just one Rolex takes over a year to finish, each pice its hand made and every watch needs to get through a lot of tests to be able to get out for sale, i think you just wasted some ones time and work, this kind of things makes me sad.

2:24 the jubilee bracelet on that Datejust is actually made of 18ct yellow gold center links with 904L stainless steel outer links. Also, reason they cost so much is that each watch takes about a year to produce from start to finish. Not to mention the testing and certifications they need to be rated as superlative chronometers.
That watch is a beautiful piece that survived the test of time but it is sad to see it getting so bluntly destroyed just for the sake of a video, which is not even informative.
You can twist it open from the back with a rubber ball. When you cut it open, you damage it.

I stopped watching at 2:42. That watch took a year to make. and you are starting to destroy it. The band comes off with two pins. The whole watch can be taken apart without destroying anything. Some Rolexs last over 50 years. Rolex should file charges against you. It is like you took a brand new $250,000 Brentley and just destroyed it. No appreciation. No Gratitude. No Common Sense. Your site should be taken off of TH-cam. You are the Poster Boy for everything that is wrong with America.

So many mistakes! That Datejust is not worth 8-10k. It's a 36mm. It's probably worth 4k. And that's not made from gold and silver. Its gold and stainless. And it's not "crystal sapphire". It's a sapphire crystal. The crystal is the glass over the dial and Rolex uses sapphire. This video was so hard to watch!

Some watches have a single axis tourbillon, some have tri-axial tourbillons and most have none... But what is your point exactly, did you just come here to sound smart?
