@MrYub Hey Bro , I hate correcting ppl , but you would want to know , so Bro , it's Princes Park, you got your self and thanx for the heads up on Taz . Cheers
Ollie Hollands giving us some run out of half back is an interesting idea! Hopefully Haynes can free up Saad and maybe even Weiters to stretch thier legs a bit.
This could be a crazy good move for him though all things considered (I would personally prefer him stay in the backline but I’d be open to him having time in midfield)
I think they will use preseason to give guys some flexibility in roles. In the modern game its a must to be able to pllay multiple roles So excited to see Walshy with a full preseason under his belt Hearing great thing already about Jagga too
Thanks to Chloe for the focused report and observations. Newman was often the extra pair of hands below the center stoppage, both in 2023 and '24. When we used that as part of the best strategy, that is, and didn't go away from what was working and drive me crazy. Maybe this is a sign that we're going to be more serious about doing that consistently. If the midfield keeps getting smaller they're going to need all the help they can get. Or we're really just swapping him with Ollie and they expect Binns or Cottrell to be the regular running wing. The Kemp move is expected, of course. His last chance to nail a spot, I suspect.
I'm not completely surprised at the likes of Newman being given a crack in other roles. Last season felt like we were putting round pegs in square holes, having that kind of fluid mobility in positions seems logical.
It should have been done 2-3 seasons ago, but now is the time Cripps plays permanent Centre-Half-Forward (CHF). He is 193cm, mobile (not as much these days but still sufficiently so), is a fair mark, has strong presence, is a danger around the goals, and he would be close enough to the centre to influence the midfield. It might not work, but the off-season is a good time to tinker with the idea. CHFs need a bit of time to develop their style, so NOW is the time. I'll leave with the question open about how the midfield might look with Cripps at CHF. I'm sure there will be plenty of opinions firing back at me 👀 😊
he just won his second brownlow as an onballer and as far as mobility, he is faster than he has ever been, CHF is not even an option, resting forward is if they push either of their talls further afield and SOS and Cripps stay as tall options across half forward then this CHF role is possible.

Thanks Chloe for the training update. Great summary 👏
Saad is one of the most natural wingers ive seen. Let him loose.👍
A couple of interesting changes. Newman to midfield sounds interesting.
Walshy was saying its more of a pre season thing to give players some flexibility of role
