    Thank you very much! I couldn't get the software to work with my M1 Pro, but with the links you provided, it worked right away...now I just have to figure out the Chinglish menu system.

      Only BSLAppSimple works with the M1 Pro. Yes, the Chinglish isn't ideal, fortunately you won't need to alter very much in the menus.

    I am can get my M1 concerted using the Mr. Carve and Sea Cad but with BSL APP it wont connect to the laser. also when I am press red light on the Mr. Carve app nothing happens. But when I press mark the laser turns on but doesn't move. I can move a the material underneath and it will mark but the laser is just stationary, any ideas?

      The M1 will only work with SeaCAD, the Mr Carve app is SeaCAD with the name changed to Mr Carve. BslAppSimple is ONLY for the M1 Pro. mrcarve.co.uk/

    Please I need help. my m1 pro has stopped recording. it records texts, but the machine does not record images, the laser turns red when trying to record images.

    Hi.
    Using the M1 model with BslAppSimple software since the others don't work on 125volts AC from the wall
    When pressing F1 (red) i see the outlines of my design although the lines are flinkering a fair bit and idk if that's normal but it feels like it's not
    When i press F2 to Mark i do see the red laser moving on the material but there is no actual engraving happening. Plastic or metal. Everything comes out untouched by the laser.
    Any suggestions?
    Also the usb pendrive it came with that presumably has the software on it seemed to be corrupted so i downloaded the software and the m1 driver from the video discription

      Hi
      I assume you meant M1 Pro. The laser is not red when engraving. The F1 mark does flicker, all adjustable within the settings.
      Can you take a video of the problems and upload it?

      @@Trevs-Shed M1 Pro yes. Unable to make a video right now. When i press F2 i see only a red laser moving on the material like it's trying to engrave but no engraving is taking place

      @@jonawolf5420 Have you got it in focus correctly? Have you tried on the black card supplied with the machine?

      Yes. The 2 laser dots are aligned to one dot. And all attemps to carve was done on the blacksheets supplied with the machine.

      Hi. Just select a different Pen colour from the Mark Parameter menu.

    I have to say that I ignored the manual as it was totally misleading as so far as the SW installation . the Mr Carve Website is pretty awful too, cant get to any SW download pages. Any idea where to get the SW instructions ?

    HI, we have the M1 Pro and there are no download files on the Mr Carve site, so we downloaded your link, installed the Cypress Driver, and we still do not have anything that says Mr Carve or an Engraving file. Hoping you can help? We watched the video a few times and still don't find the connection. Thank you!

      Go to Device Manager on your PC. Look at the USB controllers and you will see that when the machine is connected a new controller appears. It is not called Mr carve or anything that you would expect! Then run the BSLSimpleApp program.

    I spoke too fast, unfortunately I still don't have it working, it's really a pain in the ass. I have a Mr Carve M1 (not pro version) and I tried the 3 app:
    Mr Carve - Doesn't work.
    Seacad - Doesn't work.
    BslAppsimple - Doesn't work.
    I have my device reconized, and no error message when I load Mr Carve or Seacad, and I have an error message "There is no processable data, please check if the matching object is selected"

      The only apps that work with the non Pro version are Mr Carve and SeaCAD, they are exactly the same app. That message or similar is when there is no design loaded to laser. You have the USB driver installed, SeaCAD or Mr Carve recognise the board is connected so you are nearly there. What happens when you design something? Just a square or circle will do. Hit Red (F1) do you see the image being scanned? Last option, open the base of the machine and check all connections are good.

      @@Trevs-Shed Tks for the reply nothing happens when I press Hit Red the red point doesn't move, so I guess there is a problem with the wires inside the base, I will open it tomorrow to check the wires connections

      Unfortunatly after having check the wires I found nothing in particular. Here is a pic of the board

      The SeaCAD app run and seems to recognize the board but nothing happen when press the Red Light or the Mark button when trying to print a shape or a text.

    I'm able to get the BSL app simple to run without issue but I cant get the computer to recognize it in the USB Controllers list on the device manager. Do you have any tricks for getting my computer to recognize the device?

      @@Trevs-Shed is that the drivers you installed in the video? If so, yes I installed them. I also don’t think I see anything that would be the device in the USB device manager

      @@MichaelRicci2 It will appear as SEA Laser if no driver is installed and as shown in this video if the driver is installed. When you plug the laser in to the PC do you hear normal tones being played that Windows recognised a device just got plugged in?

      @@Trevs-Shed Hey, I was able to fix it! I had to unscrew the print bed to expose the circuit boards inside. The issue was that the top board was not mated completely with the board underneath; so I pushed the two of them together more securely. Also while I was in there I noticed that the 12v connector for the fan that cools the laser was unplugged and I plugged it back in. Then I screwed the print bed back on and everything seems to be working great. I'm printing right now. Thank you for making this video, it inspired me to continue troubleshooting.
