LIFE UPDATE: Why I'm leaving Houston after 15 months and what I learned.

- Well Houston.... It's been FUN ✌🏽 Time has flow... I can't believe just last May I was uprooting my life and moving to Houston for a new job and new life. Moving away from all your family and friends is no joke and it's a lot scarier than I imagined but I did it, woot woot. There's been SOOOO many ups and downs to this journey but I'm so proud of myself for sticking it through and growing from this experience.
My advice? Leave your hometown. See the world. Live life. I hope this encourages someone to take a leap on their dreams, even if that means doing it alone. As always, thanks for watching :)

Omg! Yana! I praise God that I found your video cause I moved to Houston two years ago. I tried giving it a try but the depression and the anxiety is too much. I do live in the city and it is no different than the suburbs. People here are hospitable but they are not friendly. I tried making friends and it went nowhere. No one comes outside cause of the heat. It’s different here. I have decided to leave too.

Stayed in Houston for 8 months and I loved every single moment of it. There was so much to do and even Galveston was so cool. Just moved to Georgia alaphretta and not liking it at all. I like buckwhead better …I miss Houston so much 😢 hopefully I will like Georgia .. buckhead Lenox square looks like Houston around galleria so that’s why I like it .. also Houston is very hard to get a job cuz of the Spanish language bla bla .. help me love Georgia yo😢
Down side Houston - no jobs , hurricane
Georgia- there is jobs , no competition with the Mexican people, also can see my self here become rich fr, no hurricane.. over all Georgia is perfect

lol I moved here 17 months from Chicago and I can’t adapt. I would be moving back. I just can’t stand this heat and lack of things. It’s very hard to make friends boring nothing to do here. Also people are very racists and closed minded. Here idk why they can’t tolerate others. I hear struggling ever since I came here w depression and anxiety. I just can’t adapt. My fiance loves it and I will move bad as it’s too hard to get used to being here. It’s just miss 4 seasons. Very bring cows farms everywhere. I am not a fan of

Crazy I am from Atlanta live here my whole life but I am going to Texas after college. Preferably Dallas. I want to move for diversity and other reasons etc. All know and see is black.
