For the comparison to be fair, you should have two seperate bets on the same hand; one is flat bet and the other is martingale. Then compare ending total for each.

I'm watching another channel were the guy uses the Martingale system on Baccarat and losses $1,500.00 at a European online casino.
Step #1 get $20,000
Works 15 years to save up 20k...goes to casino to find that due to hyper inflation minimum bet is $10,000.
A lot of casinos will ban a player for playing martingale because it is cheating! More cheating than card counting. To win basically every time you go to a casino, bring 500 dollars, if you win one hand of flat betting, up bet one unit, keep on doing this until you lose a hand then flat bet. If you lose 3 times in a row start the process again at another table. You will always win. It is biggest cheat. I've seen players who didn't know or really play blackjack all too often walkaway with 300-500 dollar wins. They didn't even know basic strategy too well, but knew martingale.
I agree with the other comments, to compare different systems, play each system on one dealt hand. Then the final totals will be a true comparison. Really enjoy the videos. Thanks for helping us through the tough times.

My my issue with Martingale in it's traditional sense is you're basically playing a Break Even game if you're just doing table minimum and you could go out and get a part-time job for that same type of action without going broke. I use a slight variation of this on two different betting systems: one I'll do traditional but my minimum is always starting at four times the table minimum so in this example instead of betting 15, I bet 60 that way (assuming you win by the end of shoe or before your bankroll Runs Out) you're up way more than just 5 to 10 hands of $15(15 x 10= $150 vs 60 x 10 = $600)
The other variation is we continue to ride the double bet one hand after the first win; so let's say we get to $120 on the losses and win. I'll let that $120 run until it loses and then start over to the first unit. I've been way more lucky than not this way and I think my biggest run was close to $720 because I won the next six straight before I reset back to table minimum.

For those people who can read this message. This system is the way to keep your money “thrown” at the casino. How confident and silly he is when he says that “Step One: Get $20,000 dollars”. I highly recommend don’t use this system if you want to keep your money in your pocket.

I’ve been playing in casinos for a long time with black j. Here is the best system I’ve found. First off you do martingale but you have three tiers rotating. So think of it as 3 separate martingales. Next you always surrender 15 or 16 against a 9.10 or Ace, you don’t double that martingale, simply te add the half that you lost. Third you stop playing half to 3/4 way through the shoe , never play to where a martingale can carry over to a new deck. Fourth, never split or double. Fifth, bring at least the bank tool to cover table max x2. And lastly, set a limit of how much you want to make and walk. If you do this you will win. I’ve been doing this for years and I stay for as long as it takes to win.

Hybred Martingale, play only online so can't card count. Hybred in that after more than 3 or 4 losses ( When I get fustrated enough) then I double or Triple. Yes works great when it works or go bust.
How you going to stop on a loss.. you got to at least keep going until you win.
11 losses a row and that 20k is gone. The trick is to get your 10 wins and get out.
And then you come back next time and lose, the only solution is to never come back.

Youd ont need unlimited bank and no table limit for martingale to work, unlimited bank? you only need big bankroll and play low bets, get the amount of a daily salary ang leave, dont be greedy, table limit? change tables, go to a higher one and come back

At about the 4th or 5th loss on Martingale system you butthole really starts to pucker... longest I went was 8 hands and I almost had a freaking heart attack.
I tried the martingale on the "lay" 4 and 10 on craps, i could not figure it out, broke even. would like to see David explaine it.
The reason martingale doesn’t work on laying the 4 and 10 in craps is because lay bets on the 4 and 10 pay 1 to 2. Martingale are for payouts that are 1 to 1 or better.
The flat bet is getting better hands nothingbto do with flat betting..... you need to bet on the sane hand to make it an experiment..... you guys showed poor intellectual rigour on this one

I made 3k from 5 dollar bets doing this and lost 3 k from 5 dollar bets doing this. Worked very well until it didn’t. Gets very scary at times too. Live and learn I guess.
The trick is to stop when it starts getting ridiculous, like if you've had a good run and you start losing time after time, set yourself a max bet let's say 300, don't allow yourself to bet more than 300. Reset yourself to £5 bets, don't chase it, it'll come back after an hour or so. I've made 1000 per hour using this and just reset when your not happy with losing a set amount, then make it back in time

Let me educate you. Flat bet and Martingale on any casino games are facing the SAME exact odds of the game . Its a choice. When you flat bet. you need to win more than losing frequency wise but in Martingale, you will have higher probability of winning BUT the payout ratio will be lowered meaning you need to win a certain # of bets to cover one BUST. If you win more units than the bust, you are good. If you win less than the bust, you lose. Even if you lose the whole bankroll on your first series, you will win it back because the facts allows you to do so because of the enormous probability. So, Martingale is just a choice and NOT an advantage or disadvantage. However. if you treat Martingale as a 'MONEY PRINTING" method, you will definitely fail. You need to use Martingale as a Hit & Run to sucker punch your way to win. Martingale is definitely more suitable for Baccarat and even money bets in Roulette because you can select when to play. Look for imbalances and HIT & Run.

@@Ericwkgnil That is single biggest mistake one can make when using Martingale i.e. to treat it as infallible to win as many bets as possible. Remember the wins are NOT true wins. There are FRACTIONAL wins because the whole bankroll is at risk. Think of tip toeing over land mines. Nibble at the cheese. If you take a bite , the trap will get you. Martingale has to be treated as a GRIND. It's the Hare and Tortoise moral story. Slow and steady wins the race. The secret is BET LESS and CHART MORE. Good Luck.

I won and lost lots of $ doing Martingale. Now I just do a strict BS and strict negative progression, 1 unit instead of doubling. I do very well with this, win a little most times, leave when I'm ahead. But Martingale was exciting, no doubt about it!

You obviusly dont know what a dealer learn on an academy then. For my one of the worse demonstration of what a dealer is suppose to be. First he talk too much , he speaks about things nobody aks him about, second he thinks he is filming a fast a furius dealing movie, is not about doiing it fast but clean and cute, he is not even paying attention to the bets because he is too busy fixing the cards he threw in a bad position because he dont take the time to doit rigth at first. When u are at a table whit this kind of croupier u dont enjoy the game

To use this martingale system the most important thing to note is that the outcome should not be a long long one. What I mean is, for example, in the roulette game on the outside bet for colour red and black. If red just follow red with martingale until you win. The chances of alternate red and black being the outcome in many cases won't last for more than 10 times for sure. If really come out this way must stop the betting immediately, don't go on to prevent further loss that is all. Besides red and black, even and odd is also ok. But big and small don't try, because I have seen the outcome of more than 10 times big or small is very often.
this exactly what i did few weeks ago in vegas, i got nervous few times doubling bet but would eventually hit a few in row and start over haha its a long slow process but if patient...seems to work

But if the bet for the outside bets is from a small amount like 1 dollar it's best because this martingale system should not be very big even after a few times. In the casino, it's very likely that the outside bets are quite big, like minimum 25 dollars or more. I think the casino has considered the possibility of using a martingale system to win, thus it tries to pressurise the gamblers to use the system for profits since big or small, red or black, odd or even all can't be for long, especially over 10 times is very rare. When starting with a big bet, no doubt to some rich gamblers, they feel ease with the martingale system even if it comes to a few thousand dollars or more, but to most of us poor gamblers, we will surely be facing a great pressure with a big bet. That's why the casino has to raise the amount of minimum bet on outside bets to scare off most gamblers to use the system.
That split and double, you lost $45. To get that loss and win 1 unit $15, you should have bet $105. If you’re just eyeing for a 1-unit win, simple formula. And if my math is correct, double your loss + 1-unit ($15). That should have been $195 and $375
If your unit is 15 and you split and double and have 45 total on the table and lose, you just want one unit back...so next bet: 60

Well, it works in GTA almost flawlessly at least. The best way to keep the odds 50/50 is to bet the same as the house. So always hit below 17 and ALWAYS stay 17 or higher. If you believe in random theory, the yes this works really well, but you HAVE to have a high bet limit and you Can't back out if you are 6 losses in. Commit and overcome. I'm probably not going to do it for real ever though. Also I would never play at the same table as someone else

The advantage the house has is that your cards are drawn first. You can lose before they even draw their hand

Hey guys! I use the Marty. I usually set my stop loss at 6-8 bets though. Up here in Tahoe the limits are $5-$500 so it works for 7 bets. I NEVER split and I NEVER double. I know you give up a huge advantage, but the Marty is all about winning one unit. And if you double or split you have to account for that with your next bet which could take away quite a few bets from the system. People say I’m crazy for using it but that’s only when I lose which does happen, but I do win. It all depends on a persons risk tolerance. Take care guys!
I play Marty and respect what you said but you HAVE to split and double the real strong ones it you will never win long term. I agree with your point so I don’t bet the slight advantage ones but you must on the strong ones.

DOnt think you are safe this way because you can EASILY lose 13 in a row in blackjack . Happens way more often than people would think. Also , to bet 13 times in a row 5...10....20 ...40 ...etc... you need a bankroll of 41 k . If you lost 12 in a row , now your LAST CHANCE you are risking 25 k to make 10 bucks ......lol ...good luck
