You can can your own meat at home if you have a pressure cooker. It's just chuck, that is roasted, chopped and canned in the broth. A hundred years ago, before many people had electricity and refrigerators, there were canneries in almost every town. When people slaughtered animals, they could prepare the meat and take it to the cannery and have it custom canned. It was pretty common and so were custom canned vegetables. I think it cost around two cents a can back then, which wasn't cheap. But, it was a way to not waste meat. Canned meat was also a convenience food because all you had to do was heat and eat.
I like my canned meats with a little less ground arteries. That's what the thin, curly looking tubular yellowish pieces are. Cheap corned beef will also have chunks of ground arteries in it.
Haven't seen this brand, but have bought some for camping and they weren't to bad. Good for emergencies. I used to can my own fish, pork, chicken, beef and deer.

Have u thought about doing livestreams? Maybe live reviews?
Yes please!
What a great find. I’m going to get a few cans for emergencies.
I did about 2 years of dollar tree food reviews. Gave them up. This looks interesting to try.
Good, homemade sausage gravy :)
Hey Larry, I just went and hit up your instagram with a follow as well :)
Um my favorite with nice homestyle biscuits and also some fried taters with bacon..
I like my canned meats with a little less ground arteries. That's what the thin, curly looking tubular yellowish pieces are. Cheap corned beef will also have chunks of ground arteries in it.
Bacon gravy..
Haven't seen this brand, but have bought some for camping and they weren't to bad. Good for emergencies. I used to can my own fish, pork, chicken, beef and deer.
The price of those cans is outragous! Who would pay that much for tinned beef its insane. You can buy high quality 15oz tinned complete meals or MREs for WAYYY cheaper.
Uncle Rico never had real beef in an mre tho
@@cheezburgrproduction point is the only real application for this product is its long shelf life, youre not buying this to just eat at home. Given the price there are far cheaper quality products out there for the same purpose
@drosh413 david nice input D bag
Went to the web site!! Free shipping too!! THIS STUFF IS PURE GOLD!! Can you imagine in a SHTF scenario, what you can trade for this, not to mention a treat for yourself and family!! THANKS SO MUCH LARRY!!
By "national emergency", you mean like an avocado shortage????
Too soon
More like most of our farms flooded out right out right now. Gonna be shortage all around.
Hey my mom gave us avocadoes when we were kids and no one even knew what the fuck they were, way before hipsters. Damn hipsters giving good stuff a bad name...
I must be a hipster since I love Avocado :/
I had completely lost interest in BBQ until I came across this channel. Now it's my main hobby. It's a blast and everyone loves to eat. A half million subs can't be wrong.
White gravy from Whataburger.
I’m in Miami and just spent 150 on my meal, 🥘 and I still find myself watching this guys videos! , Love your channel!
Nice I'm here early
The finished product actually looks good!:)
Beef in a can? Its the WERTZ!
That looks surprising appetizing. Even right out of the can.
"that's something you simply cant put a pricetag on!"
*Costs 14 dollars*
Thank goodness for your lovely assistant! A bit too much veg for me and I would have used American or Whiz for the salt bite. But a well done job all around.
For we the people? Are you assuming I’m a people??
It's a broad assumption! lol
I've never pressure canned just straight up beef. I've done chicken, turkey, albacore and salmon and brined cured meats like corned beef and ham. Often after thanksgiving turkeys go on sale for darn cheap so that's a fairly common thing for me to can.
I had poppa johns for breakfast lol
Mr. Wolfe Pit sir, you are one fun guy to watch! ❤️👏🏻
I don't think it is correct for you to "review" something yo got paid to advertise.
If you are going to advertise, advertise. But don't make it look like it was something spontaneous while you list off everything that's great about it.
yeah I was wondering if I was the only one who picked up on that. He should be careful or he's going to start losing his credibility.
@@aquariumaddict Yea. It's kinda sad that he didn't pay attention or more caution to it.
I really love his vids. But this certainly disappointed me.
@@graveofmonsters4076 Sad to see that these videos are not for us, the people anymore.
@@graveofmonsters4076 I notice he's not actually biting or eating some of the food he says he's trying for us and that he is doing advertising I don't really care I mostly like to see how it looks after he cooks it so I don't mess around and buy it and how much ingred..ECT ...I'm here more for entertainment purposes ..but just thought you should know some of those things he actually doesn't even actually take a bite ..I don't blame him sometime it looks in edible lol
This is his job and just cause you get sponsored dose not mean you have to say only nice things about the product
Hi really like your videos and sense of humor. my Grandma made her breakfast gravy with Bacon fat.,......ok grease! Fantastic flavor! Thank you for your time .
2 dislikers may be sliced, salted, and canned
Wow....just...wow.
You're a savage lol XD
