One screen showed popcorn kernals! Another scene showed harvesting field corn which is harvested when the stalks are dead! Field corn is harvested dry and used for ethanol or animal feed. Do not be fooled! In the labeling section I think they were showing beans or peas. This all detracts from the credibility of the video.
Dude for real that’s what I was thinking but like I was just so happy seeing corn move like that it’s so amazing corn is so beautiful if I could I would eat corn everyday but I live in Oklahoma so we don’t have corn here.
It was stock footage and a script read by a bot. The companies producing these videos know little about the growing and farming process. They are producing commercial footage. After they get good at producing this fakery, they get jobs in government.
Lots of wrong in this. Corn is not cut from the stock it is stripped from the stalk. Corn on the cob is called and ear of corn, not a corn cob. Cob "hairs" are called silks in my world. De husking is what he calls cleaning and is done on a husking bed. The cutter that removes the corn from the cob was interesting though.
It sounds like you have strong opinions about Del Monte corn! What brands do you find to be sweeter or more to your taste? And is there a specific reason why Del Monte doesn’t meet your expectations?
If that corn was picked and delivered that day and processed why does it taste like crap when I open the can? So either it is field corn and mixed, not picked when ready or sits to long after picked-too bad they don't used corn that last longer when picked instead of the GMO corn that grows bigger and faster
Would have been better if would have only been sweet pictures and video. Popcorn and dried field corn pictures and video shows much different product as I worked for a canning company and my family raised sweet corn and peas for a canning company in my earlier years.
If you put the video together, you can fix it where it doesn't show things not associated with the current topic. It really looks like you don't know what you are doing.@@Process-X
Video is correct in the monologue but keeps showing the wrong corn being harvested and transported the green corn and ears are sweet corn the dry yellow stocks and ears are grain corn ..not the same product at all ...any shots with the yellow brown ears has nothing to do with sweet corn
I got sick of hearing words like "freshness" and "quality". This is a hype video full of redundancy. And lastly, why did you show a few shots of popcorn kernels?
Everybody should just grow their own corn. Harvest the kernels and take the whole stalks and all to your local cows. You can eat the beef it makes later on. It’s really easy we do it all the time
The project involves replacing traditional charcoal stoves in rural housing units in Hubei and Guizhou province in China with clean gas stoves powered by corn cobs (unused corn cob residues). By replacing coal with this biomass, CO₂ emissions are reduced and the quality of air in homes is improved, and consequently also the health of women and children.
If you've ever grown corn, you know that corn does not grow in the perfect, spotless, and clean ears shown in the beginning of this video unless it is sprayed with a deadly neurotoxin (and probably is GMO, to boot, with RoundUp herbicide all over it). There is no "quality and freshness" involved when you are eating neurotoxins. I am interested in organic, non-GMO corn ONLY.
I really like your videos. With that said, I’d like to say that sometimes the same information is conveyed multiple times in the video. I think you’ll get more views if you try to avoid that. For example, in this video the information of maintaining the freshness of the corn appeared multiple times. There may have people that won’t like it as it is repetitive. Aside from that, keep the great work!
I remember back in the late 50's when my mom was preparing dinner and on the stove she had a can of Del Monte creamed corn..... she stirred it and up from the depths came what appeared to be a caterpillar yellow and black with what appeared to me as having rows and rows of legs..... this sucker was HUGE..... some 70 years later, I can't even look at creamed corn in a can let alone eat any of it....... my God, how did they miss a giant caterpillar like that? 😷😨🥱🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
A cob is what's left after the kernels are removed. Otherwise, it is an ear of corn. Honest to god............

Looks like there are field corn images mixed in this sweet corn video. Two very different products.
Quite correct. The dried husks show that's field corn for animal feed. The husks that are all still very green are what's canned or frozen.
There was also popcorn.
They were talking about the machine when they showed the low hydration corn. Stop trying to be a know it all.
@@NoneofUrbusiness-p9w - no, they are two completely different machines.
so
Sorry but you use too much images of the wrong type of corn that has nothing to do with this process. Mostly correct but some not.
Some images shown are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product.
Rank amateur video. You have mixed field corn with sweet corn. Two different products. Field corn does not get put into a can.
Some images shown are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product.
Like Mark said, "Rank amateur video." @@Process-X
It’s obvious the left hand don’t know what the right hand is talking about! Field corn and pop corn don’t belong here.
Lots of wrong in this. Corn is not cut from the stock it is stripped from the stalk. Corn on the cob is called and ear of corn, not a corn cob. Cob "hairs" are called silks in my world.

Great video.Video is realistic, interesting.
Not big into dried cow corn. Sweet canned niblets for sure.
my favorite corn
Why do you repeat yourself using nearly identical words in your video. Kind of annoying.
this is what i mean with "i love watching corn"
Great video
It’s 7 AM, and I just watched a video on how canned corn is made. 😊
And?
❤ I love this comment
A cob is what's left after the kernels are removed. very interesting
I like this😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍💐💐💐💐❤❤❤❤
God blessed.
Wow bro so cool bro.
@ 2:14 the fork lift wheel shield is sot on to keep from smashing the product.
If you think Del Monte corn is anything near sweet, you are crazy. Del Monte blows.
Dunno about that, but there's NO such thing as cream style anymore; they simply shred the husks and leave them in, INCLUDING Green Giant.
ok
Loved where they grew sweet corn for Del Monte,it was great fresh but wasn't so good from the can.
It sounds like you have strong opinions about Del Monte corn! What brands do you find to be sweeter or more to your taste? And is there a specific reason why Del Monte doesn’t meet your expectations?

Silk, it’s called silk…
No way corn makes it to the factory in four hours we have no canning factory witthin four hours 😮
Kind of corny 🌽 ❤🎉
Your video needs some editing to remove the dry corn processing.

Bitch bitch bitch why watch if that's all you wnt to do
Lately their corn has suck, it hasn't been sweet it's more like corn that cows feed on.
Worstcorn i ever ate came from the farms you showed.Grow my own sweet corn organicly for over 50 years.
Nobody cares grandpa
Canned corn is terrible. We grow our own and it's quite good, even before cooking.
Video is correct in the monologue but keeps showing the wrong corn being harvested and transported the green corn and ears are sweet corn the dry yellow stocks and ears are grain corn ..not the same product at all ...any shots with the yellow brown ears has nothing to do with sweet corn
Just think of trying to do this without fuel, like the climate nutcases want???
Very interesting
Ill buy it in cob form from now on
Nothing personal
one hundred AND fifty! 😤
They take sweet corn, they put it in a can. TADA!!
Natawash get some real corn. 😊
Why are we making ethanol?and we all are paying for it.
Fresh or frozen never ever canned it sucks
This is corny but interesting.
Narrator explained in a simple words and motivates anyone to become a former and to start corn processing company.
Most outstanding!
I got sick of hearing words like "freshness" and "quality". This is a hype video full of redundancy. And lastly, why did you show a few shots of popcorn kernels?
I got sick of your complete ignorance..... Go back to mommy's basement
Why did they show green peas in the labeling section?
Who cares rhoda
@@daveklein2826 well you cared enough to comment. I know you think that saying "who cares" on social media makes you one of the cool kids, but...
once it is canned it is not really fresh anymore

farmers don't choose when to plant or harvest. the cannery does.
What happens from cob to can is a shame it taste so good fresh and like crap out of the can.
