Morph wasn't created for the show, he was a character called Changeling, but the show writers thought it was too generic.

Loved this show growing up. Rogue and Storm were iconic queens in this series. And yeah this version of rogue perminently has Ms. Marvel's powerset having held onto her too long and put her in acoma. I think they dive into that plotline way later in a Roguecentric episode.
8:05 Actually, he's based on an actual X-Men character. He was called The Changeling, appeared in The X-Men #35 issue of Aug. 1967.
Rogue had some mixup where she permanently took Carol Danvers powers (Carol eventually gets hers back)

Why'd you abandon this show?
In the comics Storm was leader from the early 80's to the early 90's when Cyclops was leader of X-Factor then she became co-leader with Cyclops leading the blue team and Storm leading the gold team.
Rogue absorbed Ms Marvel's power's, Carol Danvers wasn't Captain Marvel yet in the comic's. As Ms Marvel Carol only had super strength and flight powers.

Yeah, back then she was Ms. Marvel. I think Marvel and DC always disputed the name Captain Marvel, Marvel for Ms. Marvel and DC for Shazam.

So Wikipedia apparently has the script order. When you get to season 3, I recommend checking, since some episodes aired in a random order on TV after a certain point. Plus, certain episodes intended for season 3 were pushed back for season 4 due to animation problems, and likewise, some of season 4's actual episodes aired during season 3. Edit: Never mind. Disney+ apparently fixed the episode order.
I thought disney plus fixed the order because when I was almost at the end of the show last year, the order changed
@@Thatsme1ogan Last time I watched the show, the episodes were listed in broadcast order, meaning a few of season 4's intended episodes aired during the third season, and season 3's delayed episodes aired during season 4. Edit: Looks like you were right. They DID fix the order. "No Mutant Is an Island" is listed after the Phoenix Saga, as it was intended to be. I swear, last time I tried watching in script order, the episodes were still in order of their air dates.
@EntertainmentFan11 it is also annoying for me because I didn't know about the order, and when it was changed, I accidentally skipped episodes, and because they are in the right order, which makes more sense especially after I watched the episodes I missed

No, Rogue didn't killed her in the comics, she put her just in a coma.
And Carol went by the Name Ms. Marvel back then.
