Chase nerfed restaurants w/PP earlier this year, but the other non lounge experiences remain for now (like massages, Minute suits, etc.). Nice video 👍🏽.
We fly weekly and use the Amex Plat for Centurion lounge access and Clear membership. We have the Ritz-Carlton for Sapphire access and C1 VX for C1 lounges, especially at DFW.
Seems like you didn't know you have access to a plethora of different lounges. Not stuck with only Centurian. I plan on getting the Bisness version becuase Im not a circus lion. I will not be jumping through hoops
Chase removed the restaurants with PP already. Effective annual fee for the Reserve is $250 while with the Amex Platinum, its zero. Most credits for the Platinum are easy to use - airline, uber, entertainment, hotel and Clear credit. In all honesty, the Platinum wipes the floor with the Reserve.
I would suggest you take into account What Fern is saying, He is giving his prospective from someone who has both cards. not just fanboying one product......try to see his points.
obviously plat is way better. to say MR points are worth less is misinformation. booking through travel portal is a complete noob move. There are good transfer partners for domestic flights.
I disagree! If you all Of a sudden got some extra time off work. You would like to leave Pennsylvania for a couple days in the winter. Good luck finding award space with either currency. Therefore, 1.5 cents per point is way better than cash and/or not going at all because you don’t want to drop a couple thousand for a long weekend in Miami.
@@joshknepp4793 then you use CASH and save it for something else. there is usually domestic award space. his video is about platinum vs CS not UR vs MR. You are not making an argument saying I cant find award with MR. If I cant make award booking with MR, you are likely not able to do so with UR. Its not better than not going bc 2000 dollars which is what you are saying the MIA wknd cost is first 2K toward another SUB 1/3 of the way to another 90K for the Chase Ink unlimited, secondly 2000 is 130000 points, thats RT business class,
Haha I felt the same way early on. The preferred is a the best for the first card. $95, awesome sign up bonus and can downgrade after a year if you want to zero fee card
Thinking about getting the CSR but there is no lounge in my local airport.

I agree. I think they are both great but I would get more utility from the CSR

Agree 👍
Chase Reserve, $300 travel credit, $25 monthly doordash credit is $600 in credit. Zero effective annual fee
@@kaymicah5309 it's $5 per month and the 2 $10 monthly credits are non-restaurant purchases. More hoops to jump through

Really excited about about getting the reserve card when I’m under 5/24
Fantastic video

@@joshknepp4793The SUB of the CSR is too low. Even if you cashed out Amex Plat 150k MR at 0.6 cpp you're still better than the CSR at 1.5 cpp
I plan on getting the Amex Business Plat for best of both worlds
Chase keeps sending me offers but idk if I want a card with an annual fee yet LOL
