Thanks for subscribing. Got to give you credit on restoring yours. I don’t know if I could have taken that one on. Yours has come a long way. Great job
@@OLDMD63C10 thank and I’m sure you could have!! I’m learning every step of the way!! I had never done it before. I can’t wait to be done though and start on my next car!
@@mikesims6300 you are right there. Slowly but surely. I am now ready to get the frame painted or powder coated which will be the next episode. Thanks for watching.
Just subscribed I’ve got a 66 C10 short bed step side . I’ve had it about 6 years just sitting . I picked it up not running, I started on it last Saturday perfect timing you’re built & Chanel popping up. PS my first pickup in high school 1977 was a 64 fleet side C10. Both 3 on tree & small blocks.
Looks like a flat.pick hammer used to pound down high metal from pounding out badly dented bed side. Maybe parts truck will donate alot. I love using donar metal and rarely buy panels lol
Could be as far as using the pick hammer. The shame is that bedside has virtually no rust. But it might be impossible to straighten what is there. Still not sure what I will do.
people play with original base or chasis cause they have exchange part, third party or report part for plug and play....if you play with custom build from scratch of cause you need custom part too for future maintenance...it gonna be headache if your previous builder passaway...my spectrum just like Chinese, drive wild and keep it last, but my modification nothing more less like Japanese... that's the way free from headache when you wake up in the morning...do not put worry for tomorrow morning cause life beautiful if you start to understanding.
Ok it will probably cost a little bit more than 160 to ship it,but I am fine with that, the bumper looks like it is pretty straight, let me know what would be the best way to get you paid for the bumper and I’m not sure but I think I could pay for shipping with my credit card over the phone when drop it off at fedex, if not I could send the money for shipping to you,let me know what your comfortable with. I have the ability to send money with Venmo or a Zelle transfer, either way they are both safe ways of sending money
Well, I'm debating whether or not to subscribe. I don't have a clear understanding yet as to what your finished project will be. If you plan on slamming this truck to the ground, I'm definitely not interested. Also, what engine does it have now? I'm a stock classic truck guy myself and own a restored 1960 Chevy Apache C10 step side with the original 235 I6. I don't like watching people butcher these fine old trucks to make a "hot rod". I'll watch the other videos you've posted lately and perhaps get a better understanding.
Great Video!! Always glad to see another 63 getting restored!!

Love a 63
Its like my younger brother.
❤👍1961 Chevy Apache 👍
The 60 and 61s with those unique hoods are pretty cool too
Perfect 63 to restore. It's just like my old truck same year 63 short bed.
Thanks. The 63s are definitely unique. In my opinion, the best of the bunch but they are all pretty cool.
Love those rap around windshield on those old trucks ! You'll never see those again ! 😁👍
Certainly makes them unique. One of the reasons I went with this year.
I have a 58 Cameo, so am here cheering ou on
I will need it. A year is my goal. We will see what happens. 58 cameo. That is cool too

Three on the tree. Best theft device for anyone under 40. Lol. Good luck with your build. It has been a fun start with Hank
Ok I will call them right away
nice truck
Thanks 👍
Thanks. Hoping to bring him back in a years time
hi frome austria i have buyed yesterday one to ....🙂
Cool 👍
Great truck, great year. will be especially watching above the windshield. I would like to know what general area you are located.

I learned to drive in a 63. Long bed step side. Granny geared 4 speed. I guess I was 13 or 14.
Same. About 13 or 14 too. My dad would let me drive our 71 around the field. Now, my cousin would let me drive down the road. Lol.
You definitely will have to replace the upper inside windshield piece. 😫
The Ratonero😂
I will hopefully only do small patches but it will definitely need some work.
I just acquired a 65 myself
It's a c20 though with a 6 straight
Cool. What are your plans for the truck?
I have a 63 C10 shortbed as well...I was wondering if your parts truck would have a good passenger side bedside you would sell.
The passenger side is not that great. Right now, I am holding on to pieces till I know what I need for Hank.
@@OLDMD63C10 ok, thanks for replying...I will probably be going with a reproduction bedside when the time comes...good luck with your build

How much did you pay for it?

Let me know what FedEx you called and I don’t mind taking it there to confirm how much it will cost. Then we can finalize everything.
How much for the rear bumper?
I would be happy if I got 150
@@OLDMD63C10 I’m in nh where are you located and or possibly I could find out how much shipping would cost if I could not meet up with you
@@OLDMD63C10 I drive over the road truck down to Ohio on a weekly basis most weeks
I am in central Md east of Frederick. I have no idea on shipping. Not sure how I would package it to ship
@@OLDMD63C10 I will check with ups my guess is that a shipping label would be securely taped to the bumper
