personally for me, i was publishing lots of apps back when the pandemic first started and from 2020 till the start of 2022, all i did was publish, improve and update apps (i was on a gap year). So i would just wake up and work on apps (obviously since it was my own apps, i had more flexability and worked at my own pace) I must say it really did pay off but then from mid 2022 i got accepted into one of my dream universities and i stopped app development ever since. recently i tried publishing some new and updating the old apps like every 2-3 months but i guess it didnt really give the results i wanted and i have kind of lost motivation to continue developing my own apps. obviously i will still make sure my apps remain up to date with the policies as they still earn a good amount for me but i dont think ill go back to the same way as back then.
I published iOS apps since 2012 , before 5 years ago I generate on average of $ 3000 monthly from my own iOS apps on the Apple Store , but unfortunately today my revenue is a way far from that number , too low .. because of increasing competition in the apps store and removing some of my apps that have most of revenue . I don't know what to do .. I am trying to open new business for client work but it is hard to do the work alone . I don’t know what to do . I think depending on your livelihood only on publishing your apps to the store is too risky for the long term , so building apps or services for client is better for long term but it is harder to start .
Eric, so nice to see your video. I finally moved a few of my apps to iOS and they started making a bit of money. But man oh man, apple is a real control freak for app publishing. My another app that I am trying to published.. apple has rejected now 6 times... but I am persistent because this is going to be my first business worthy idea. :) When is your next live coming? I hope to catch you in the next live. :)
Hey Ravi! I haven't done a livestream in months. I've had a few people ask me to start back up again. I need to find a good night since Mondays aren't good anymore for me.
@@OverpassApps Hi How are you doing?. Please I would love if you could help me out on Google console developer, I have been having a problem in creating the app. And I would love to learn or work with you. Thank you GOD bless you.
It's been a while since I've published an App. I still think it's worth publishing an App in 2023. As you've mentioned, it's good to get the reps in. Also, it's good to release an MVP, get feedback and iterate on your App.

I agree with you.
I love making apps. It's nice to not worry about bills as I test new ideas
