    Excellent topic, I agree, it's not bat at all to work in a small company, adding something, only take care regarding the comfort zone, because the small companies usually has small budget, your salary does not grow up, even your knowledge does not need to grow up, that part is not beautiful

    Thanks for another great video, can't believe you're in good ol Blighty! I've developed an App which is a Online Video Conference Assistant, In theory, I'm desperately looking for a Developer to partner with as a CTO, shareholder, if it was you in the earlier part of your career, what share do you think you would want in order to fill that role please

      Hi Dave. Over the years I've been asked this a lot. People who want me to join them for equity. I know other people who do it, but I haven't ever been tempted myself. But if you can demonstrate to someone how good the idea and the app is, it should be possible. The problem is most people have an idea but no market research or ways to demonstrate its success. So a developer has to do loads of work and absorb a lot of the risks upfront. Basically, you should pitch to a developer the same way you would pitch to any investor-- because that's what that person would initially be doing. Thanks for the comment :-)
