Sometimes I am questioning myself, if it is still a good idea to be a software developer, because I am 33 years old now. Thank you for sharing and encouraging us.
It's a strange world. I still love software and creating things with it. How many industries allow us to create totally unique things? However, if it stops making me money, I know all the skills I have from learning to code (or learning any skill at all) will allow me to learn another subject if I need to (even at the age of 51!).
Sometimes I think life revolves about novelty. We humans just like to keep jumping from "thing" to "thing" because its new and shiny! We keep trying/chasing stuff. Seems nothing lasts long nowadays,.... everything moves so fast! software, socials, relationships, cars, AI, etc
Hey. You noticed it? I got it finished last month (part of my -- I'm 50 and ready to take ownership of my body phase). It's a tribal lion. I'm not sure if I should show it during the video or not. 😀
Hey Eric :)
Nice having you back :D

Lifetime learners always get ahead
Is it a good idea to get a job and get experience or can you go out on your own straight away?

This is very true. And it keeps getting faster. Every skill I learn is soon to be obsolete. Code I write is soon to be deprecated.
Is it worth it to publish your own apps? Or just take on client work?
Definitely publish your own apps. It's always worth it. Passive income is tough, but should be the goal.
What's the new Tattoo of?

@@OverpassApps show it please 🤣
Peter Lynch books so I can make money in stocks while still making money with apps :)
Awesome. I've never really got into stocks. It's an area of my life that I have ignored too long -- my finances.
