I've seen both videos of you removing both front and rear bumpers on a 70 chevelle could you please tell me the difference between an oem gm and an aftermarket I have had an extremely hard time with my bumpers. Thanks
1:01 you talk about cleaning with bleach soap to clean up the lens. Where do you get bleach soap, and is it like powder or spray liquid? Thanks! Love your videos!!!!!
Hi Chris, still working on my 72. I'm mounting a new bumper and during tear down lost the 4 lower bolts that mount the bumper/bumper brackets to the underside of the body. I saw that you had 2 sets of 7/16 course head bolts, 2 long, 2 short. Which bolts go where? Or, since I have them, can I simply use 1 1/2 inch long bolts from hardware store? Thanks for your helpful videos!
Great job Chris. Like other's have mentioned, thank you so much for the helpful information. I'm on my 4th Chevelle and there's always something to learn. Do you have a 'day' job also? I've been putting off body work until last on my 1969. As you know, there's always something to do on these cars.
your vids are super helpful dude. I don't think anyone else on youtube is actually doing a simple step by step how to on these cars like you are. I just recently bought a new bumper and pad so this helps a lot. also how did you get the inside ridges of the taillights metallic as well? seems like the masking tape covered the whole inside of the lens.
@@chriscraft77022 71 Monte Carlo, LS/4L60E. Long way to go yet but I'm preparing myself by watching your videos. I appreciate how you describe how and what you're doing. No bs. 😎👍
Hey Chris, I have a question about the rubber piece you put on the bracket at the 6:50 mark. Where did you buy them? I'm having a hard time finding them. Any help would be great. Thank you! Keep the awesome videos coming!
Hey guys, About to switch my 72 rear bumper to a 70. Can anyone confirm before I spend $150 on a new harness…. Will the 71-72 harness work with a 70 rear bumper conversion? What are the differences ?
Okay, it’s confirmed it works BUT, The left and right reverse pigtail (1156 light I believe) needs to be extended about 6 inches. I did it last night and placed the bumper back on the car. It’s still not adjusted but looks like it’s gonna work just fine. Thank you, that saved me some $$$$$$ As always great vids !
You have been saving my ass with all these videos of the little things. Thank you dude! Love your stuff as always
even though chevelles dont exist in saudi arabia i love watching your videos. they are so helpful.
Awesome video
I have a 72 SS but would love to put the front of a 70.
Love the dual light set up.
People do that, I personally prefer the cleaner 71/72 front
Thanks for making these vids, helping me get through my 70 chevelle Build
At this rate you should be driving it by february. Looks great.
Great Video, thanks for all your work here !! Jim Moroz

Best video I’ve seen on chevelle on TH-cam! Chris I have a 72 how hard is it to put on a 70 rear bumper
the only hard thing is lining up the license plate bracket holes with the rear valance/ bumper... especially, if you buy a new bumper
Dont do that, you are only fooling yourself
Can you change it to the 1971 number and tail lights?

+Tyler Dixon oh, with a sliver leaf paint pen
ok cool. mine are in pretty decent shape so I might try your technique definitely cheaper than buying new lenses.
