WW2 Private Collection Tour [2021] My WWII History Room - Machine Guns, Helmets, Uniforms and more!!

  • Hello Everyone!! :D
I'm back with another video, and a pretty long one this time too!
A lot of people have been asking me to do another collection tour video.
It was a rainy day, and I decided it was time to do it!
In this video I will show you most of my WW2 collection!
I will show you stuff like like helmets, weapons, uniforms and much more!
I started collecting WW2 militaria since I was about 9 years old.
It all started when I was on a vacation in Germany with my brother and parents.
I was playing in a small stream, and I kicked the wall.. something fell out, and landed right in front of my feet.
I didn't know what it was, and asked my dad.
He told me it was a bullet from the war.. It turned out to be a live .50 Cal round, and I started to clean it.
I started searching for more in that small stream, and found a lot of interesting items, like buckles, buttons and more shell casings!
I've been collecting ever since, and I will keep doing that!
I've always been interested in History, and it will always keep me busy.
This is my collection, and I hope you enjoy the tour!! :)

My grandpa was born in 1937 the Netherlands and he had 3 brothers, but he was the only one that came out. And his dad was a post man and was caught by the Germans, but he was really fast on his bike so he escaped and joined the military and became a soldier. He was a general and he made it out of the war, but he died about 29 years ago, but we will never forget his loss for the good soldier/person he was.

I was born in 1939 and my entire male family was in the war and they all came back. I was taken by the war when I was able to understand what was going on at the time. My Dad and uncles sent me flags from all over the world from ships they sailed on and sister ships. My family was in the maritime and sailed in the Pacific because we were from Alameda California in the San Francisco bay area. I would see the Victory At Sea clips at the movies updating us about the progress. When my Dad was a deck officer on the Matson Ship Lurline he was told we had to leave Hawaii ( my Mom was from Hilo Hawaii) we had gone there after I was born and my Dad worked for Matson in Hilo and was told that we had to go to the mainland or stay in Hawaii because war was coming, he chose to get us out, so the rest is history and the war was a big part of my young life. War surplus stores where all over the bay area and I did have some of the Item the man has in his great collection but all of it was lost. My brother had a Lugar 9mm in his desk along with a holster.

Your collection is immense, I’d love to see it in person! My collection is just a few helmets, lots of random items and a 200 year old Percussion rifle.-Das Mann
Edit: And one of the front tyres from Vulcan bomber XL-426.

Very impressive collection. I have a modest amount of ww2 artifacts in my office. Mostly Panzer tracks and tools along with my Grandfather's uniform as a medic in the US Army. I imagine that stuff is overwhelming at times.
