Seeing you put on the jumping boots brought a tear to my eye. As my Papa (age 92) was near the end after he had a stroke he wanted his Schuhe. He'd been caught near Falaise in Normandie and was 'liberated' of most of his belongings. 😢
There's a similarly dressed para in an illustration in men at arms series German airborne troops. The ardennes is probably my favourite battle in wartime photos due to huge variation in camo uniforms of heer, luftwaffe and ss troops. Battle of the bulge; then and now is a great reference book
Those were some cool uniforms. Kinda expected to see FG-42 instead of MP 40, but anyway very good video. Amazing how many things they actually carried, very smartly packed.
im happy to there is reenactor who pay attention to the details that make your impression so much authentic instand of the 90 pourcent of reenactor................
Many thanks! Unfortunately I cannot recall where I got the jumper from as I was given it as a gift, however with some simple sewing skills you could easily convert a grey “turtle neck” into a similar style. Great fan of your channel btw!
@@brman1023 ah no worries, I’ll keep an eye out at the usual websites to see if one crops up! Likewise for your channel mate, my Fj collection is in its infancy but looking to get more over the course of next year.
Cool kit but unless you're going to march in the arctic you'll overheat after 20 yards. No belt? I never seen a jumper wear a wool greatcoat under the jump smock.Good attention to detail though.
only thing you dont have is being 19 and looking like your 45 at the same time especially the paras allways have such a tired and done face in old photos

How common was the marsch jump smock?
Re-uploaded due to some technical issues!
Excelente
this has always been my favorite german para look. the marsh pattern smock over the greatcoat is just nice.
It’s an iconic look for sure!
@@brman1023what vendor did you get your marsh camo smock from?

@@kurtschmidt5005 that and OakLeaf B are mine. 👍🏻

Good Stuff Right Here . Go Airborne !
Great video! Do you have a kit list as I’d love to get my hands on a similar grey zippered top you put on at the start of the video.
Thanks 😃

Thanks for posting .. thought it was excellent.
Our Kiwi soldiers had much respect for the German paratroopers.
German gear was just the coolest and best 👌

Good video !
Excelente uniforme. Saludos🍻
This is a fantastic impression!
Although a bit off-tooic for this video, what vendor did you use for your M44 Bluse in your 1939-1945 video?
Thanks!
The m44 is an old sturm reproduction. Unfortunately quite hard to find these days!
There’s one on epic Militaria
If I had to pee wearing all that, I'd probably just pee my pants instead of putting it all back on.
Going to the bathroom is certainly not ideal!
Lovely impression, how do you like the boots? I wish to aquire some but cant decide between the three styles of Deutsch jump boots.
That sumpftarn smock looks amazing... Where is it from?
Greetings from Germany, GR 🤘🏻
Not sure but looks like a FJ-Werke product

You are at least nice and warm but how constricted is your movement
Verdaderamente Increíble Todo lo Que Llevan!! 😮
Undoubtedly in WW2 the german possessed the best uniforms and military technology.
Where can i find a reproduction fallschirmjager gravity knife?
Im assuming the quater length zip sweaters were private purchases?
Yes, privately brought
Excelente!👍
What was that small packet on his inside shirt jacket pocket?
This is the Denix mp40???
Nice video ❤
The GSG looks awesome, how did u made it look like that?
This is a MGC MP40
What the zipper sweat manufacturer
Is it hard to move under all that gear?
Were did u get that black field shirt from
Beautiful dress than nowhere
The background is not so warish.
Great idea but don't spoil good effect with poor stielhandgranate replica. Details matter ;)
Zerr good!
Danke!
how much did this cost you
Звучит тревожная музыка! Чувак одевается в шмотки!
i want this
1:41 What papers? Can someone write it?
How did you attach your gravity knife lanyard
Your jump trousers should have a key chain loop near your pocket watch pocket , it attaches on there :)
Netting doesn’t look right
He mean ss uniform and equipment yes yes yes
It's a lot of gear, like a NSW cop. How you go to toilet?
Try wearing WHITE (WEISS) CAMOUFLAGE NEXT TIME JUNGE!
