I just let stock drivers do its thing with Performance mode and efficient, auto VRAM and HYPR-RX(auto settings) 800p and I get great results around 70-90 on Hogwartz but the most important thing zero stuttering. Frame pacing is really great!
I literally do the same, and my Lego is stock apart from those few updates it makes you do when you first open Legion Space. I'm a truck driver and use this device for everything. Take controllers off, and also use it as a GPS to drop Costco loads, then back to gaming! No stutter, freeze, overheating. Stock drivers. This device is brilliant. 😅
Same. I tried the side loading drivers and I did see a bit of improvement but nothing crazy. I just found it annoying that it kept updating and uninstalling the graphic drivers even when I turned off automatic updates off. Went back to stock and everything runs smooth, I don’t have anymore problems with the graphic drivers uninstalling by itself anymore.
Hello! I am also a truck driver and am completely satisfied with the device. But how do you use it for navigation? There is no GPS module, if I am not mistaken. Do you have an external module? Please tell me how you did it :)@@SoloCrimeWave
For some reason, AFMF2 does not bring any performance benefits on my system, though i can still clearly see it is activated. I am using RSR +AFMF2+ Anti-lag+GPU Scaling enabled (preserve aspect ratio). Cyberpunk 2077, Read Dead Redemption 2, Battlefield 5, no performance improvement in terms of FPS. Just may be a little bit smoother, but that`s it. Or may be, it is a Rivatuner RTSS issue that does not detect and report the improved framerate from AFMF2?
Are you running your games in full screen? AFMF2 requires games to be in full screen to provide its FPS boost. Riva only shows your actual frame rate, it wont show AFMF2's boosted fps value. If you want to see it you need to use the Go's native overlay.
@@NicMercy Thanks for the response. I am mainly running full screen borderless and by reading the AMD AFMF2 documentation, AMD clearly states that AFMF2 works fine with both full screen and borderless modes.
@@zixsieYou are not alone! After many days of testing I can not feel any benefit from afmf 2, It only increases my fps counter and makes my games feel worse whilst lossless scaling increases smoothness at the cost of latency and graphical artifacts.
also in my power profiles i used to have performance but now there is onley balance it use to have ultra performance performance ballanced and efficency how to i get performance back or does the performance in the side pannel over ride the power profiles in the power profiles settings ?
There is something very strange happening with afmf 2 on legion go! Half of the people who use it (including myself) can't feel the benefits of afmf 2 even though activated and showing increased fps. Half of the people using afmf 2 say it is working great. Either afmf 2 is really temperamental on the legion go and only works on certain devices or the people who see an increase in there fps counter are suffering from a placebo effect and the actually performance hasn't increased? p.s in the majority of games on my legion go afmf 2 does increases the Fps counter but actually makes the game feel worse, whilst lossless scaling makes my games feel smoother at the cost of latency and artifacts.
AFMF 2 works great for me but it varies by game like all frame gen. Lossless scaling is trashhhhh asf to me and I wish I never bought it. It increases latency like crazy and the ghosting is absolutely terrible imo. I refuse to use Lossless Scaling for ANYTHING.
@@BigMacWitCheez I appreciate your comment, this is exactly what I mean by afmf 2 is a 50/50 chance experience for legion go users. Very strange, I wonder why it is not working correctly on people devices even after following every single install step?
@bigtrousers4287 It definitely works, but it takes some tinkering and it just works better for some games than others. For example, certain games like RDR2 and Sparking Zero work absolutely wonderful for me when using AFMF 2, but I have much less pleasing results when using it on Psychonaughts 2, Assassins Creed Mirage and a few other games in my library so I just use a mix of FSR, in game settings, and Adrenalin to get the best results when AFMF 2 isn't working properly.
@@BigMacWitCheez thanks for that, I definitely haven't given up on afmf 2 and I will keep on tinkering when I play different games, hopefully I will start to see some good results with it because I would rather have it than not.
@BigMacWitCheez I tried for the first time using 800p on POE2 and have to say, i kinda wish I'd left it alone. Put everything back to how i had it, just with the new drivers running and it just doesn't feel the same, fuck knows what I've done wrong. Follow all these videos and can never seem to get the same results
Not sure if anyone would know but I'm having an issue with installing Adrenaline on my GO. On the Windows Store it won't install when I click on download. Then trying to download it through AMD's website, I can't get the damn thing to install. I'm able to install everything else but I would like to have Adrenaline available to me.
does this work on momiters ? every time i have boost on when on moniter the game looks normal until i turn my mouse and as soon as i do everything gets super blurry until i move the mouse again

I just use RSR and AFMF2 to high and quality and get 75 fps in Warhammer with RSR bumping the resolution to 2160. Same with Wu-Kong and cyberpunk.

1200P, VRAM AUTO, HYPR-RX, Performance mode and efficient (Hogwartz legacy) that gives you around 60 with great frame pacing
