I’m the pastor of a small church. We’ve been using SlingStudio. But SlingStudio is no longer updating their firmware and it’s glitching. YoloBox Pro looks like a good option for us. - We use one camera (Canon XA11-Full HD Camcorder with HDMI Output). - We use ProPresenter on an iMac for our music lyric slides. We push this ProPresenter signal (that is the slide images) to a BlackMagic ULTRA MONITOR 3G which then connects to the SlingStudio Hub via HDMI. This Ultra Monitor 3G turns the ProPresenter output into a video signal that SlingStudio can “read” as a video source. - We then have an audio line from our sound board connected directly into the SlingStudio Hub. - We have a countdown video loaded put on the SlingStudio hard drive locally, which is how we start our worship service. With all of this said, 3 questions: - Do you know if Yolobox Pro can receive a signal from ProPresenter so we can show our music slides and sermon slides in our stream? - There are TWO audio-in lines on the Pro. We only have ONE audio-in line from the sound board. Which audio-in input do you use on the Pro if you only have one? - Is Yolobox Pro receiving current firmware updates. The problem with SlingStudio is that they have discontinued the product and are no longer updating it. Thanks for the help!
Initially I thought Yolo was a really good idea and I bought the Original version. Now that I look back I think the Original was actually the Beta version and still is. The Original version was to lure people in, then switch to a "Pro" version that would give people what they really wanted . . . . . but then there was no way to "upgrade" to the Pro version without just suckijng up the price of the "Beta" and forking out more $$$$ for one that actually does what the Original version should have done in the first place. And so now you hardly even hear about either the Original Beta version or the Pro because they found another product that makes them scads more $$$ without having to sell a physical product. Would be nice if they even just gave a rebate to get the Pro over the Beta version. I may be waiting till I die though. No point in that. They struck it rich with a product that doesn't require manufacturing. Your POV.
Hi, thank you for your video. How many "scenes/sources" can i use? i make sports livestreams and i want to have (1 or 2 cameras) but i also want to play about 6-8 different videos during my livestreams. Can i have them at "sources"? Thank you in advance
Yes, you can have as many videos as you want on an SD card and then just bring them in when you want during a livestream, you just select the video you want off the SD card. I have a full walkthrough off every bit of functionality of the unit on my channel, maybe check that out to see how that feature works
@@JonathanJScottFilms just another question.... do i have to make a plan or not? I want to use scoreboards (volley and basket ball) and overlays. Is it mandatory? Thank you for your answers

@@JonathanJScottFilms Thanks for the reply, now I have to ask about something you mentioned toward the end about "Recording" to an SD card up to 128GB, but can it also Record to any connected USB drive of any capacity ??? We currently utilize an NVMe 1TB USB-C drive....
@@JonathanJScottFilms I understand. I ran into your video while searching for solutions like SlingStudio which as we know doesnt exist any longer. I’m crushed a little. I was pumped to film my travels and make stock video but I don’t want to infringe.. I’d like to still start JSF hobby but won't if you take issue. Thank you for your nicely done summary. Your note on the SD Card orientation was useful too.
No worries, glad you found it useful

Is there any way to record the video channels independently?
Not that I know of
I would like them to improve the recording quality to an SD card or external SSD drive
