I just found your channel and these montages are truly a gift. I grew up listening to AT40 and Casey Kasem every weekend growing up. Casey is very much missed. Thank you for sharing these montages with us.

1970, possibly the best year in music.

It’s interesting how some of these hits never left the 70s. While others transcended. Some even became bigger hits in later decades.

Which Way You Going Billy (Poppy Family)
    Lola (The Kinks)
    Hitchin' A Ride (Vanity Fare)
Mama Told Me Not To Come (Three Dog Night)
Let It Be (The Beatles) are awesome songs. ❤

Did you noticed back on Memorial Day 2023 when Classic American Top 40 on iHeartRadio did the 2023 version of the Top 80 Hits of 1970 which they omitting the MGM promos (Bobby Bland, Bill Medley, e.t.c.), and lacking the long version of "Green Eyed Lady" by Sugarloaf, while "Keep The Customer Satisfied" by Simon & Garfunkel was replaced with "The Boxer" by Simon & Garfunkel, the entire song of "Give Me Just a Little More Time" by Charman of the Board, followed by "Something's Burning" by Kenny Rogers & The First Edition, and sadly "(I Feel Like a) Sex Machine" by James Brown was dropped.

I'll ALWAYS refer to him as John Lennon, NOT John Ono Lennon!!

I refer to him as scummy dad lennon, a guy so caught up in himself he had no time for his own son.
