It’s giving Enid😂…love that. I had to film this look twice before the old chrome was soo patchy, I love the compact one. As for filming, trust me I have my days where I drag my feet 😂🙏🏽💖💐✨

I’m not sure if I missed it but you applied top coat but then buffed the shine off to create a “matte” top coat? I’m asking because I’ve been trying to practice more with chrome but the excess chrome is always hard to get off and it’s so frustrating.

I did exactly that…pigment powder won’t stick to top coat so I applied it on the inhibition layer of the nude gel. Apparently Matt topcoat works just as well🙂
How long did you cure the black gel polish for before applying the chrome? Sometimes the chrome doesn’t stick for me if I dry it too quick or too long. 🥹
I cured it for 60s. Play around with the curing time until you find the sweet spot for you. The brand of the gel and wether you’re use a UV or LED lamp play a huge factor🙂💖

Yes that’s exactly what I did. I find it’s easier to remove the excess chrome over a buffed surface…it can really be frustrating 🌸

I applied a layer of Matt topcoat before doing the black gel, that way the chrome will only stick to it.

I used black gel polish…my favourite black gel is from Modelones and I cure it for 60sec. It always gives the best results with chrome🙂💖

how do you avoid the chrome from getting on the parts of the nails you dont want it on without buffing it?
You can use Matt topcoat and paint the nail art on top of it, that way when you rub the chrome it’ll only stick to the art.

I thought you didn't cure the black gel design, and you apply directly chrome on it ?
I cured the design then rubbed the chrome. If I hadn’t cured it would all smudge.
