The way the drop safety works is something all manufactures should be copying. The way the speed lock works is awesome. The generous opening for the mag is awesome. The mag release is a great size. I absolutely love this gun. 5k rounds between the two I own zero malfunctions. I shoot IDPA and I’ve taken one training course with them. I did break the sear on both of them around the 2k mark but they got fixed for free.
Just a small correction...... there's not that much material on the slide to go crazy with the optics....its doable but its away shallower than a Glock.

This function is ok. I’ve got 5k rounds through two different archons and I’ve only once inserted a mag wrong. It was in a class. Honestly, though this is my favorite pistol to date. The features on this gun are what all modern striker fired pistols should be trying to achieve.
Great video. Glad I’m not the only one who loves this pistol! Loved how it shot so much, I went and found a Strike One. I’m thinking of doing the Aimpoint on my Archon as well. How are you liking it?
@@WarHOGGTactical I have a Holosun 507K . FYI- I talked to Garrett at Archon the other day and he said they are coming out with a type B that will be stippled and cut for an RMR. Which happens to be the same footprint for the Holosun. So I’m probably getting another one or going up in price/quality for the Staccato C2 DPO. Dilemma dilemma. Lol

They need to get with the times , make a tactical model, suppressor sights , optic cut, thread barrel ,

This is incredible, The magazine release ambit function with the reversed magazine impressed me and I’m not a left jaded shooter.

Good review… But don’t try and rename the press check as if you personally invented the technique. Just a little bit cringe, if I’m being honest..
