Oh I miss him. He played a concert at my high school when Modern Girl was at its peak. He was lovely and they really gave us their all. Bless his soul.

Jimmy Jimmy-my friend-my housemate-my fellow traveler-I shared your pain and held you after your first attempt to end yourself-I will always remember the happy times the music and the snatches of joy we gathered-you were a beautiful part of my life and I’m glad you found love with sally and kept trying to touch others with music-I will always miss you and remember happy crazy times together -Always-X

When I found out that James Freud took his own life. I was absolutely gutted. An incredibly wonderful musician . Lead front man for the Models, (who were one of the best Australian bands ever), and teamed up with Martin Plaza ( from the Mentals) to become BeatFish. They both wrote and performed two absolutely wonderful songs.”All around the world”, and “Wheels of love”.
Another great musician lost to alcohol and drugs. James was one of the best.

    Virtuoso? Genius?
I don't think he reached those lofty terms.
But a talented muso, who died too soon.

C’mon mate, ease up. I know that adjective is thrown around but it’s not his fault as he was very humble and wouldn’t have felt comfortable being described that way. Anyway, he deserves respect and recognition for his musical contributions.

It’s probably a safe bet that he achieved far more in his short life than you have champ.

@andysmith6218 I'm afreud that's not the case. And I certainly don't insult people when I disagree with them.

@@markrigg6623 again, you have achieved what that puts you in a position to be able to insult another person who has achieved?

You need to look up the meaning of insult, and icon.
