Breathtaking Cappadocia! I remember we went to Cappadocia a few years back and stayed in the cave hotel suite as well, we had two full suites to ourselves, at the rate of regular rooms, courtesy of the incredible management of the cave hotel. I believe this is the same one we stayed at. The bathrooms are so amazing, it was a treat. We had the same situation you were in, not Corona, but there were attacks and bombings going on at that time, the coup took place while we were there 🙂 very exciting! That's the reason there were very little tourists at that time. Turkish people were lovely, very friendly! The cave hotel was an experience of a lifetime, and then we took a balloon ride, just beyond words, the view of the mushroom peaks from the balloon 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼we visited the cottage industries of Cappadocia, if it's possible for you, do check them out, can't tell you how wonderful that tour was: we saw the carpet weaving factory, the locals were weaving carpets by hand, the ceramic pottery industry, all handpainted as well, the silk painting industry, and then the jewellery industry. It was unique and once in a lifetime experience in Cappadocia..

Wow! This place is insanely beautifull!
I was lucky enough to spend a night in cappadocia back in 2015 in one of those cave hotels, and we actually went on one of those hot air balloons to see the sunrise from it at 4:30 am, of course back then, the air balloons filled the sky with more than 15 but now with covid and lack of tourism, few remain in the sky. It's definitely a marvelous experience.
i think Cappadocia is famous for hot air balloons and heard from so many peoples about this.

You can find a lot of different Muslims in Turkey, some of them do not live this religion at all even though they say they are Muslim. Some of them are so conservative, making rules that do not belong to Islam. Hope these differences will not affect your opinions about Islam. I hope your visit to Turkey makes you feel closer to Allah and Islam :) Have a safe trip!
