She is so real and free to talk about her experience in Ghana. I think American raised kids are way smarter than the British raised kids. Jennifer, for relationship wise, l think it's better to stick to the culture you understand better. You shall find a Ghana/ American raised guy with the same culture as you. He has to be a successful person like you. You are a beauty with brains. May God continue to bless you.
She is right. Those big homes that our parents have does not interest the children. That's all over the world. The only people who wants a big house are the ones who never grew up in one. They are high maintenance and takes leasure time away if you own one.
@@mazdee9274 it took 40 years to sell my family's 7 bedroom home in Jamaica. Yes 40 years! it was on the market after our parents died. None of us wanted it because we knew the expense and the time to maintained it plus the hired help which we didn't want to have in our lives. The person who bought it was a friend of my parents. We DO NOT miss that old mansion. We are happy with our small abode.
Parent who have turned their backs on there own country should stop discouraging their children from goi g home. They are doing what you should have done. Everything Jennifer experience when she arrived in Ghana, I felt. I am Jamaican. Take your parent back so they can see for themselves. Jennifer you have established in Ghana it shows your strength. Blessings.
I really enjoyed this video, and I can tell Jennifer has gone through pain points of setting up in Ghana 🇬🇭....it is understandable because to Ghanaians, she is a walking dollar sign. I've just returned from Ghana, and honestly, it's beautiful. I would sum Ghana up as perfectly imperfect, vlogs depict Ghana for nightlife and some drone shots of the nice areas. However, the rich live very close to the poor, which creates a breeding ground for jealousy and greed. There is an underlying system of bribery, and absolutely everyone is hustling 24/7. It adds to its charm, but if you sit back and really take it in, you realise that it's because no one is coming to help you in Ghana. Everyone is self-made and hustling to make ends meet. It's a beautiful place, but we have to admit, there is a bribe culture. Your car speaks before you do, and money comes before the man or woman. If you have not grown up in this culture, it is very, very hard to adapt to. Networking is key for the transition, and make sure you have good people around you. Ensure that you have money because if your money runs out, I feel like your network connections will aswell
I enjoyed every bit of this interview. Had you stayed in New York, you will probably not been on Dentaa show and you will not probably have inspired so many people as you are inspiring now. Growing pains are part of every success story, unfortunately no one is exempted. Losing money is just a small piece of the puzzle; the lesson learned and the wisdom gained is priceless and that is what eventually will thrust you to greater success and significance. Your future is very bright, your heart is in the right place and you as inscribed in the palm of God; the best is yet to come. I am here to celebrate these 2 phenomenal women for being a beacon of hope to many for such a time as this!!!
I was so shocked to see how far Accra has come from 2017. It’s a vibe and a half there and folks were so welcoming. I’ll be back for the 4th time very soon!
I have listened to many interviews of this sort, and noticed that the young ones who were successful moving to settle in Ghana were those who parents started something, either owning a piece of land outright or an already built houses. I will encourage parents to get involved with to establish something in Ghana before our young ones continue. I already have. Great interview!!
@Abdul J You are right, Abdul J. Living expenses are also cheaper if you shop locally. The best part is if you can have a backyard garden. Also, to marry to one person only, and you don't give your money to "pastors" to enjoy 😉, then you can make it in Ghana.

Congratulations, I'm from Miami, Florida, and visited Ghana. December 2022, I'm in love with Ghana 🇬🇭 ❤️ I'm seriously thinking about residing there in the near future. I'm coming back in the Summer 2024, hoping God will talk to me.... thank you for this video.. God bless you 🙏 ❤️
She is so inspiring! I wish her the very best in her real estate business. She's will definitely be the best person to go to knowing that she experienced the worse and doesn't want anybody to go through that. My heart breaks for her but with her determination, I know she will succeed!
Amazing interview! Jennifer is an awesome woman! I'll definitely be reaching out to her when I visit Ghana, although I've decided to buy my first home in South Africa. Recently, my dna test showed that I'm Ghanian & Nigerian.
My first visit to Africa was Accra Ghana..so may be THE MOST HIGH called me too..great Interview and we need people on the ground in Africa to help us navigate it when we are coming home
Loved the interview. Beautiful ladies. I will say this, they way my life is set up here in America, I can't take time off for myself for 6 months to experience the beautiful country of Ghana. If I could take a year off from the matrix I surely would. I do want to come visit Ghana. It's everything about it's pulling me in to come.
So so proud of your strive. I have been in the US for so long and I have been homeless almost all these years. I hope to visit your firm when I come to Ghana. Keep striving and change black lives

❤💛🖤💚Akosua Dentaa, what a great episode!! Jennifer and her journey is such an excellent guest/subject. Great to hear her Mum and sister will visit her from the US. I can understand why she said NYC is nothing compared to her challenges in Accra. I agree that Experience is definitely the Best Teacher. I can relate to the loss she suffered in Accra. Wishing her much success and happiness during her time in Ghana.❣Thank you.
Really enjoyed the interview. You know the one thing I don't think I've heard any interviewer ask is about the difference in realtor fees between the US, Europe and across the African Continent. The other thing is if it's a development in a popular area where you know the property will probably appreciate in value quickly, you don't want to wait 6 months, what options exist there. Other topics I would be interested in include how you determine the quality of the build and reputation of the builder and no one talks about purchasing pre-build pros, cons & discounts.
Interesting points shared, keep up the good work. One thing we have noticed, is that most diaspora's have little clues of any local processes. most think that with $10,000 they can get a 5br villa with a pool. They do not conduct due diligence. just turn up with a few dollars and expect to get the moon. that process leads to heartbreaks
Unlearning and learning is the key and it takes time. Good to hear about the loss and the positive aspects of her journey. When it comes to relationships the mindset is very different. Her analogy regarding her faith needs to show up in the court system because that's not easy at all. Been there got the T-shirt. Yes the hardest times. So the payoff needs to equate. Big girl panties........ Fight how you need. Just win. You do learn alot about yourself and that's priceless.
I'm sorry she had to go through that but i'm glad she was able to withstand everything that was thrown at her. i'm sure others had it easier than that but hey i'm proud of her

This was very informative. If I decide to buy a home in Ghana I'm coming straight to this lady. For real.

Fresh ideas is what would build Africa, not the old and tired recycled ideas some of which have helped ruin the little the ‘masters’ left behind 😉
Great piece of advice, I was just talking this exact same thing to my family..🙏
Moving to Ghana is a lot easier if you don't need to rent. Even if you can only afford to build a 1 bedroom self contained, it is better than renting.
