Hey y’all! I’m so happy I made this move, it was a long time coming but by the grace of God I’m here. I hope you enjoy the video, it’s my first vlog! Let me know if you plan on making a major move like this and if you need help or support.. I got you babe 🤎🤍🖤
Just got back a few days ago from visiting and looking for places… definitely could use the help and support. I’m anxious and crazy nervous but I do feel God is leading me to do this. Congratulations on such an amazing step for yourself 💕
Congratulations 🤗 can’t tell you how good it is to see someone doing what I am preparing myself todo. I plan to move to Houston Texas in July and can certainly use the help and support. May God continue to bless you all on your move 🫶🏾
Hey! I’m a single mom looking to move to Houston in 3 months. Just decided yesterday. Would love to know more about your decision. I’ll be coming from NJ
Yes! I’m so excited for all of you making the move or planning too. It’s such a life changing decision and the offer still stands I’m here to support. Contact me on my Instagram so I don’t miss your messages @tierrashavonn we can chat there. 🤍🤍
I just moved by myself, no family or friends and I’m single with no kids. Life-changing is a understatement; I don’t even know who I am and it’s so scary but beautiful to start fresh.
I wanna move to Texas but I have no money no car it's jxs me and my baby I don't know anybody in Texas but I'm ready to leave the state I'm in it's boring here
@@urbanfloraa4013 I feel you sis! I wanna move too cause the area I’m in is not it for me ughh but God’s timing is always perfect timing. Hope we both get a chance to move somewhere else where we can both have a balance and be happy.
@@verhaoluvclub thank you 🥺🥰 it’s been the hardest part of my life yet but I won’t give up. Do it while you still can ,and know that the transition is temporary but the change is permanent
I packed me and my daughter up without telling anyone and moved 5 hours away from EVERYONE. We only had 1 suit case of clothing each. She was an year old then. I had no friends or family where I went. 5 days after I moved I found a job and place to rent for us. We slept on the floor for 3 days I bought us a bed and it was up hill from there. My mom knew I wasn't coming back home a month after the move.
There is no growth and evolution like leaving your comfort zone and allowing yourself to mature in ways that staying in your hometown does not allow. I have lived in every region of the country and there is nothing like it. Congratulations! Get involved and prepare to realize your wildest dreams. You made the first step and God shall do the rest. 👏🏽💪🏽💐🙏🏽
I just made the same exact move 4 months ago! Packed up the Uhaul & drove to Houston from NY! We got this! Wishing you the best in your new journey love! ❤
I am from NY & I am looking forward to moving as well. I like the North side of Houston. I’m not telling anybody at all. I rather move in silence & that’s the best way to do.
Love the vlog & congratulations!! I just moved to Houston from Kentucky last month and it was very scary! The Lord told me to go months after i moved into my new home. I didn’t want to because I had everything I wanted in ky. A new home, a wonderful career, a new car, everything. I had to make the choice to be obedient to his voice. I listened to multiple people who told me I wasn’t hearing God, or how am I going to survive, yet God told me otherwise. I’m now in Houston, with no job as God instructed, finances running low but I trust GOD. I FINALLY FOUND A CHURCH HOME, which God led me to and I couldn’t be more happier. I’m not sure what’s coming up, but I trust his timing and his will for my life. It was Abraham in the Bible that God told to bring his one and only son Isaac on the mountain to sacrifice him. He didn’t ask Sarah or ask those around him. He obeyed God and Provision met him when he got to the place. So be encouraged that the Lord will order your steps in this season.
I moved here to Houston from Southern California 2 months ago & loving it. It’s beautiful the green scenary. About to start working too. Congratulations on choosing H town 😊
Hi did you drive all the way down from Cali or use movers? Also did you ship your car? Please share all the resources you used. I’ll really appreciate it
I’m moving to SC from MD 7 hours away yess I felt that by telling people will ruin your journey because they’re scared of walking out on faith. I’ve called schools Applied to jobs 4 call backs. Applying for a unit tomorrow ❤️❤️🩷🩷 I’ve been saying I’m moving for 2 years I was scared of the unknown but God said THIS IS MY TIME ! #singleMommy 🎃❤️
I love that for you so much mama ♥️ this is your time! God is guiding you through. Everything you’ve been praying for is about to come true, believe it and never lose faith ever! 💕💕
I felt this. I’m a single mother of 3 and I want to move to Houston in the next year or 2. I have a lot going on as well and im in the researching stage !
I moved to Houston 5 years ago the same way. I was also depressed about a year before the move and actually drove all the way to New York (Upstate) to work. I didn't tell anyone I was moving because when I tried to talk to my mom she flat out refused to help me. So I packed my kid's *hit asked some other relatives to keep them and left. It be ya own ppl trying to hold you back. I wasn't even as established as you..I saved my money from working in New York came home for about a month or two collected my kid's and left
Wow what a testimony. I’m so happy you had the courage to leave that environment. It’s difficult doing it alone but it’s so worth it in the end. Gods grace will make it happen. I’m proud of you 💕💕
im much older than you but i too moved from Rosedale Ny, I went thru a bad divorce and wanted to start over. I moved to Houston and its the best move Ive ever done. If you're black this is the city for you. I could go on but just know you made the right decision.
And please be consistent with your videos . This is definitely a new journey for you and I can literally watch you all day . I see you blowing up real fast . Very authentic
You’re making me so emotional 😭 thank you for being positive and pushing me with my content. I appreciate you for tuning in and showing so much support 💕💕
i just moved to texas 2018 and i love watching these videos I’m 24 years old and I’m moving to Houston after next year and I’m so excited I’m learning how to drive and get my dream car and house I’m getting engaged with my boyfriend have two girl cats ☺️❤️🫶🏻
I just moved to Houston 5 months ago from Phoenix AZ I love it here I'm single move to Spring TX really nice area in the woodlands don't have any friends yet but I love it here
I’m going through the same exact thing right now. It’s a full moon in Virgo today and I’m a Virgo and I came across your video. I was originally going to move to Atlanta but now I’m sold on Houston and I haven’t told anyone and I don’t plan to! This was so inspiring to watch thank you babes 🫶🏾😭✨
You are very welcome! Stay locked into what god is calling you to do. Listen to your intuition, you will be just fine! I’m not a Virgo, Libra here 🙋🏽♀️ but I’m glad it was a special day for you. Good luck on your journey 🤍🤎🖤
Proud of you, good for you on building the courage and doing this. I’m from Ny as well I’m looking to visit in May. I’ve been wanting to move out there since 2017/2018 as well but was not in the best financial position to do so. I know exactly how you felt currently having this stagnant feeling as well which is why I’m looking to move. Currently planning and I’m trying to move by the end of the summer. Waiting on the transfer from my job to come through and I’m out of here. Anyone looking to do this, move in silence as well having others in your ear and in your business will keep you from achieving your goals and reaching your full potential!
This was a mouth full! Our story sounds so similar. By the grace of god that transfer will come through, we are speaking it into existence 🤍 everything happens in divine timing and definitely move in silence (this step is crucial) You got this!
Watching this. I definitely relate to how you were feeling back home! I need a new different environment! Texas has been on my mind a lot lately, definitely gonna make the move by the end of the year 🫶🏽🫶🏽
Girl I can literally relate . I live in Florida and since last year HTX has been on my mind heavy . I pray blessings and prosperity for you and your child ❤ you really are making me feel good about not second guessing my decision. I do TH-cam and I think it will push me out my comfort zone and just DO MORE . Also you are BEAUTIFUL and your voice is so gentle ❤️ congratulations and good luck
Welcome to Houston !! You are amazing and I am sure you have inspired not only me but other women to keep going for our dreams in spite of being scared. Y'all are going to love it here and good to hear you have God in your life. We attend Lakewood Church and that is where we met lots of great people. There are a bunch of great churches in Houston and most people in Houston are friendly but some too friendly lol. I haven't watched it all yet (will watch it all later) but thanks for the video.
Thank you babe! And thank you so much for the church recommendations. I’m currently doing church online and I like it but it’s nice to be around people on the same energy frequency. I have noticed people are super friendly here lol that’s one of the things that pulled me in I LOVE THAT! thank you for tuning into my video, I appreciate you 🤎🤍🖤
Welcome to Houston, moved here in 2003 from Nashville, you remind me so much of myself, I didn’t tell anyone either I planned my move for a whole year before. Everybody has their perspective on Houston some love it some hate it, personally this city has been good to me anything you want to achieve you can do it here, since you moved here from New York get ready to do a LOT of driving! Good Luck.
Everything you said is SO TRUE! Sometimes that’s the best way to do it. I was just telling someone else it’s not for everyone but also what you make of it. It’s a great city we made a good choice 💕
I moved to Houston 4 mos ago and I’m still adjusting. I have a 14 yr old son who came with me and he loves it here. My job transferred me. It’s been okay just lonely. How have you been dealing with living here.
Congrats on the move👏🏽 I’m glad your son is enjoying it so far. I’ve adjusted pretty well, my experience has been very good and peaceful. It does get lonely sometimes. I’ve met people but I don’t actually have “friends” here yet. I do spend most of my time at home but this fall, I will definitely be going out to meet some peep’s.
Great decision. You will enjoy Houston: lots of young people; opportunities and all. From NY to here; this is paradise. Enjoy your life and live; forget the rat race of NY. Good luck.
Me n my son been in TN for 19 years I been ready because I was outburnt by the people around me I knew i needed change when I travel n I saw a different n I was addicted to see different things. But houston is our move I'm praying everyday I don't plan on telling my friends or anyone close to me because folks love changing your mind
Im ready to move but I'm trying to plan correctly! I'm not sure if I want to do Houston or Dallas. I'm from up north too and like you said its depressing to just stay somewhere that doesn't fit anymore!
Whether you come to Houston or Dallas please let me help you find a home/apartment! I'm a licensed realtor and as a renter my services are free to you ma'am. Please leave an email in your comment and ill send you an email so we can get the ball rolling for you. Have a great day!
This video is so empowering your vibe and the move you made is amazing everything yu said is relatable to me how you made your move and all. Only god knows. Ill be in houston in a few weeks from nyc also. I was gonna do the drive too but im transporting my car instead. Thank you for sharing your life with us 🌹🌹
Aw im glad I could inspire you mama. And you’re absolutely right, only god knows. So happy you decided to make your move, sounds like you have it all figured out. I wish you all the success with your journey. 🤍🤍
Im born and raised in Fort Pierce Florida and for the last several years something has been nagging my soul to move away and try another city or place, I want to try Houston but i have no family there but i really want to just up and leave. You give me hope ❣️
congratulations!! you definitely gave words of encouragement to go after your goals and not let anyone interfere with them. may God continue to bless you 💞
Hey girl, congrats on the move! If you don’t mind me asking did you buy or rent your new place? Wondering how the buying process was for you (if you did)/ timeline of it all?
Hey boo! Thank you so much💕 I’m renting the home I’m in now. I’m very seasoned in the home buying and selling process, I’m more than willing to assist. I also have a few recommendations for realtors here in Houston. Send me a message on my Instagram instagram.com/tierrashavonn/ we can chat there. 🤎🤍🖤
I just moved to Houston December 27th with my son and my dog. I am currently living with a friend but I am ready to move into a place. I don’t have a job yet but I am trying not to get discouraged by how many rejections I keep receiving. God is positioning me in a place of rest and the only thing I have been able to do successfully is enroll my son in school. Today is his first day and also the first day I can move around to find a job and place in person.
Congrats on your move mama. Considering it’s only been 3 weeks you’re doing great. Progress is progress no matter how big or small. I’m sure it will work out in Gods timing. The good thing is you have a friend who is there to support you. The job will come! There are so many companies hiring. If you end up getting a call back from a company and maybe it’s not exactly what you were hoping for I would urge you to still take the offer just to have some money coming in until you can find the job you really want. Also you may qualify for public assistance so go ahead and apply. Workforce Solutions may be able to help you look for employment. Please keep me updated on your journey 🤍🤎
@@tierrashavonn Thank you for your words of encouragement. I definitely was blessed with an amazing friend who is showing me what it is like to have full faith in God because he is not moved by things thrown in his path. I will keep you updated and have started to post videos about things God is teaching me on youtube. I don't know where that will lead but I hope to inspire someone who is or will one day be in my shoes.
As a another transplant to Houston, my unsolicited advice is to stay encouraged. Get to know neighbors. The best of Houston is found through networking. People help other people in general here. Great experiences found best by word of mouth. Close-nit communities are found with the Trail Rider community, Double Dutch 40+ Club, Meetup groups, and church groups etc. Good luck on your journey.
Very Inspirational I love this and want to move out of my Home State and start a new. Congratulations too you and God Bless you on your journey in Houston🙂❤️
I’m so glad this video was recommended b/c same as you, in the same mind frame as you, in 2 years my plan is to move to Houston from the East coast. If all plans go well. So this is very enlightened for me. I wish you the best and much success.
The Galleria, River Oaks, The Heights, Memorial, Energy Corridor, Medical Center, Midtown, Downtown. Some near by cities…. Pearland, Humble, Spring, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Katy
Love the vlog . I also planned to do a huge moves to Houston in the next 2 year just giving myself time to finish up nursing program and save a little . Just ready to get out of Jacksonville fl I single no kids and nothing holding me back. Congratulations on ur big move.
Be careful what area you go to. There are some extremely extremely dangerous areas you should know about. The pol won't even help you. They're afraid of the gangs or are apathetic, but gangs run certain areas and apartment complexes especially.
Girl you are my hero. I just feel the way you felt. Been trying to think about moving to Houston but I don't know... Me I'm actualy going to be moving from another continent...
Aw you’re so sweet. I’m happy to hear that. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll be ok. Plan every single step so you feel a sense of security. You got this babe 🩷
Good luck girl! When you said “all the way” from New York my heart skipped a beat cause I’m about to move to HTX from Azerbaijan 😅😅😅 I’m scared af haha but gotta do it for my dreams 🫶🏽
So pretty and down to earth. How did you find a place? Did you look from NYC or did you stay with someone in Houston until you found a place? Just curious on the process of finding a good area, a nice place etc.
Thank you babes. I found a place about 3 weeks before moving. Just browsed the web for apartments either close to my job or in the area I preferred to stay in. You can also have an apartment locator find a nice place for you.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing. I'm a solo mom and one of my cousins moved to Houston recently and she's been telling me to come out there. I will visit her this summer and stay awhile to see if I like it!!!
Thanks boo! Yes, come visit! I think you’ll enjoy it. Plenty to do and lots of opportunities. Even if this isn’t your forever, it’s still nice to explore new places. 🤍
Alright now, girlie. It's been 4 weeks since you did a Houston vlog update. We forgive you 🤣 jk! I found your channel because of your "how to unwrap a silk press" short, but then, I decided to stay. I can't wait to follow YOUR journey. I'm not moving to Houston (or at least never plan too), I do like Rhode Island though. It would be nice to see you post weekly vlogs so we know how you're doing/adjusting. I love a consistent channel. It wouldn't hurt if we explore Houston with you too 🤗. Good luck with everything.
🤣🤣 not you calling me out! Lol thank you for the feedback and supporting the channel, I definitely appreciate it. I WILL be sharing lots more, trust me it’s coming and so is the consistency🤍🤍
Hey! I'm also from NYC. I moved to Corpus Christi in 2018 and came back to NY in 2022. God willing going back to TX. I'm thinking of Houston. How are you liking it? do you like the culture there?
It’s all in Gods timing. I love it here, the culture is one of the reasons for me coming here. Extremely diverse, the people a generally happy, amazing eatery, growth opportunities and lots of events/things to do.
Hi Once you sold your home and contemplated on moving did you search for employment first or did you just pay your rent up. Thats the thought Im having my home goes on the market very soon, Im a Houstonian moving back to HTown. Thanks
That’s a good question. Always secure employment before closing the deal. Here’s my time line.. I knew for sure I was moving and gave myself a time frame. I prepared the house to sell (repairs, realtor evaluation, etc) I started applying for jobs 2 months before my ideal move date. I put the house on the market at the same time I applied for jobs (2 months before desired move date) this will give you time to interview and secure the job. Save up 3 or more months of mortgage and other expenses in case your home doesn’t sell right away. The week after I listed, I flew to Houston to visit for 7days. During that time, my realtor conducted viewings on my behalf. When I came back 2 days later we accepted an offer. I accepted a position, secured housing in Houston then scheduled the closing date for a projected date after the move to Houston. I signed closing documents prior to moving. DO NOT close on the sale of your home without securing a job first.
@@amandalewis1936 at first I was thinking what is CoCo County but I got it now. Yes if you've ever been to Houston it's like a hidden gem that no one wants you to know about. It's beautiful here and if you can get a decent job you can live very well.
@@amandalewis1936 well you hear about our summers ( look at me with the " our " stuff. I guess now I'm a Texan 🤷 ) the sun isn't the big deal it's the humidity it makes you want to run from the car to inside of a building 😂 but right now it's like being in the Bay it's in the 60's during the day and 40's and 50's at night.
I want to move too, but NOT to Texas. Everyone moves to Houston. A few years ago everyone moved to Atlanta. Now Atlanta is overcrowded and the cost of living went through the roof. And now it is Texas and I am not even going to mention the traffic. But, I wish the best for all who moves.
Houston is definitely not for everyone! I lived here for about 7 years now not what you think it would be. Probably about 7 years ago probably would have been good!
"...Texas is a very hot state." Most of it is, especially Houston. For that to be true stay out of the panhamdle in the winter. It gets cold there too.
Sometimes that’s the best way to do it. People can be selfish, it’s always about how THEY feel and never about what’s best for you. Move in silence until it’s solid. 🙏🏽 you did amazing 🤍
Hi 👋🏾 Tierra welcome to HTX. I have a sister in law with that name. I am kinda new to HTX myself. I came for better healthcare than I was getting from before. Have a blessed week my darlings 🙏🏽♥️
@@tierrashavonn thanks darling .. yes I am getting better healthcare now glory to God. So much better than I did in my hometown of Louisiana. However though I miss the food hahaa. Thank god I came here knowing how to cook lol. If you ever want some good cooking sometimes lemme know. I’m a mother to 5 and 8 grandkids. Only 3 here in HTX. Anyway I’m just having diarrhea of the mouth 👄 take care and welcome welcome
I heard “ Rochester who?” And i was like oh wow she’s from the town that’s so dope to see you picked up and moved away. Congratulations and good luck on your journey
I wanted to leave Virginia and transfer to the University of Houston from community college 20 years ago but never did…..my parents had apprehensions then life happened within the family. I’m doing alright in life but sometimes I often think I dropped the ball by not moving down there.
I completely understand. Often times life happens and you end up having set backs. In the midst of that you lose the vision. One thing I’ve tried to keep at a minimum is regret. Imagining my life and what it could have been. I sat down with myself and evaluated my life.. revisit those regrets, take a trip, pray about it and ask for guidance. This is what helped me. I’m not suggesting you move but I’m asking you to pray and re-evaluate. You can always change the course. 🙏🏽
Thanks for the home Sell and Employment timeline. Ive started boxing the small things and I swear it feels like Ive not put a dent in this stuff… I mentioned to my mom about your Vlog to lighten her feelings about me driving alone because shes freaking out. It calmed her down after she watched your story since Im in Texas lol 😂 and dont hv that far to travel. Thanks again (Keep the contents coming - Apt decor Vlog ?)
You are so welcome! I’m glad you gave her some reassurance lol mom is protective you already know this. Thank you for the suggestions they really help. 💕
Good luck girlie, you will be fine. Eventbrite always have networking groups/events. Also try Facebook groups, that’s how I found my first set of girlfriends when I moved. I heard Dallas is awesome by the way. I hope you love it 🤎🤍🤎
Hey girl 👋🏾 your video was on my recommendations and idk what it is everytime I come on here it’s always somebody doing an empty apartment tour in Houston TX I don’t know what it is but of course to me it’s a good thing is it sign for me? Idk lol anyways you know I had to watch this and I love your apartment it’s so cute 😍 I hear a lot about Texas especially Houston it’s most definitely on my bucket list to visit for sure hopefully I’ll be able to come visit sometime this year. Hopefully in the summer. Congratulations on your new place and may God bless you with many more blessings to come. 🍾🎈🎉 New subbie! 😘
Thanks boo! I would consider it a sign for sure and even if it’s not here it might be a sign you just need to change your environment. Houston is great though, I hope you get to make the visit. Thanks again 🙏🏽🍾🥂
Does anyone have any recommendations for single moms when it comes to child care for younger kids/ no support system in Texas ? ( planning on moving and this is my biggest anxiety factor )
This sounds like me. I'm in Illinois and I hate it!!! I can't wait to move! I'm not able to go until next year but I'm not scared anymore me and my son is out of here.😊
I’ll tell you what mama… fear will keep you from accomplishing goals, fear will keep you from your vision. Don’t succumb to fear. Spend some time praying about it and listen to your intuition. I promise it won’t steer you wrong. Good luck and I know you’ll figure it out 💕
Hi I’m moving to Houston as well in July or august, I’m proud of you for moving there and telling your story it’s inspirational. I’m not sure of what area in Houston to move too what do you recommend?
Thank you so much, I appreciate you and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. A few areas I’d recommend is the outskirts of inner Houston especially with a family. Spring, Pearland, sugarland, the woodlands, humble, Katy. If you need to be in the inner city of Houston try, uptown (galleria), energy corridor area, memorial, the heights, River Oaks. These are nice areas but can be a bit pricey so do your research. If all else fails there are plenty of realtors that would love to help you find a new home. Good luck with your move and safe travels! 🤍
This was a nice video, your voice is calming & you have a dope vibe! I have lived in Houston a few times, I’m originally from Detroit but I’ve lived all over.(Atlanta & Metro Phoenix too) I’m actually planning to move back to Houston(well Sugarland) again this year. I have a love/hate with Houston(hate the humidity lol) but imo it’s the best bang for your buck. In PHX you’re paying $1500+ for a BASIC 1 bed apt now that the Cali ppl have moved here. 🤨 Meanwhile in HTX $1100 can put you in a LUXE 1 bed.. No brainer, I’m moving back plus I miss H-E-B lol 😂
Thank you for the compliments honey! You have done quite a bit of traveling, so dope. I agree though it can be a good bang for your buck in the outskirts but definitely not in the inner city of Houston. 1 bedrooms minimum average out closer to $1500 and $2500 for two bedrooms. If there’s a special, you can find both for like $200 cheaper possibly but still more affordable than a lot of other places. Come on back to Texas girl you know it’s no where better. The humidity is your friend, it’s good for the skin 😉
@@tierrashavonn Aww you’re welcome love! Lol it’s definitely good for my skin & hair, they both LOVED living in Houston & even Detroit because of the humidity. Out here in AZ I have to slather on my butters & oils to stay moisturized even with drinking over half a gallon of water daily! 😫😂 So I am def coming back, and yeah I saw how downtown & midtown has gotten high. Luckily I’m a suburban type chick now in my 30s, so I like “boring”, quiet, clean and safe. 😄The more affordable rent in Sugarland & Pearland is just a plus lol. I followed you on IG today too, you gotta post more boo. 😌😍
Secure employment and then apply for housing. Make sure you have a little cash saved up to cover 1st month’s rent, security deposit, possible cost of utilities and your moving expenses. It may seem overwhelming but once you secure employment, everything else will be easy. Good luck girlie 🤍🤎
I moved to Houston this summer without a job, house (stayed at motel), car (rented a car), nor family or friends after 18 years living in Germany. Within 22 days, by the grace and glory of God, I had a job, bought a car, and leased an apartment. Wasn't easy, and I am still finding my footing here, but I am starting to like it. If I did it, I know you can. There are jobs out here, and plenty of opportunities. The only shot you are guaranteed to not make is the one you don't take. Bless! P.S: We are waiting for you to join us out here :)
im in canada and i drive to florida about the same distance i love to drive highways in america are great ,Ive ben to houston i loved the place. Ill be in houston perhaps ill run into you

Heavy on the “Feed Your Soul”! Thank you for that. Soo Happy You’re Where Your Heart Desired, I can’t wait to feel that feeling. Enjoy! 💕🏠
Yes honey, do whatever feeds your soul! Thank you so much for watching and good luck with your journey 🤎🤍🖤
Thank you! 🤎
I moved here to Houston from Southern California 2 months ago & loving it. It’s beautiful the green scenary. About to start working too. Congratulations on choosing H town 😊

@@tierrashavonn thank you 🙏 may God bring so much blessings in this new city 🏙️
Praying for you mama 🙏🏽 keep planning that’s the best you can do. It will all come together when it’s supposed to. 🤍🤎
Me too! I’m just starting my research
Hey there! I heard Katy, cypress , Pearland have good school districts. Best wishes on the move
Same here. Did you make the move?
I’m proud of you 💕💕
Ok Strategic, I heard the hell out of that.
im much older than you but i too moved from Rosedale Ny, I went thru a bad divorce and wanted to start over. I moved to Houston and its the best move Ive ever done. If you're black this is the city for you. I could go on but just know you made the right decision.
Thank you, I’m so glad that worked out for you. Change is uncomfortable but when it’s time it’s time 💕
I love love love this because in 2011 I moved from Cincinnati to Houston!! I’m so proud of another woman taking that huge step!!!

Idk if your a Virgo but today was a special day for me to come across your video lol
Texas has been on my mind a lot lately, definitely gonna make the move by the end of the year 🫶🏽🫶🏽
You got this babe! Just pray about it and remove the distractions. Start writing down your goals so you stay the course. 🤍🤍

Good luck.
Thank you so much 🤍
I just moved to Houston too. Doing everything alone right now haha but I’m loving it here so far

That’s beautiful, love to hear it. Keep going you got this🤍
Hi, it’s this company that hires every month! Houston is on the list if you want to work from home!

Be careful what area you go to. There are some extremely extremely dangerous areas you should know about. The pol won't even help you. They're afraid of the gangs or are apathetic, but gangs run certain areas and apartment complexes especially.

Welcome to Houston when you come! 😊
Damn I thought we were going to see more of the area. But good for you ma'am. I made that drive from the Bay Area to Kingwood last year love it here!
Aw I’m sorry. Congrats on your move though, I absolutely love that area! Glad you’re enjoying the city so far and thanks for tuning in 💕💕
Holy you left the Bay? How's that working out?
@@amandalewis1936 it worked out very good. I've been here in Kingwood for a little over a year and I love this place. It's a big step up.
But, I wish the best for all who moves.
dont let assumed inconveniences control your life
Houston is not for everyone so I understand. Good luck with your move wherever you go 🤎🤍
Houston is definitely not for everyone! I lived here for about 7 years now not what you think it would be. Probably about 7 years ago probably would have been good!
"...Texas is a very hot state." Most of it is, especially Houston. For that to be true stay out of the panhamdle in the winter. It gets cold there too.
When I first moved to Houston I was 20 and I didnt tell anyone until the day I was leaving and I already packed.
Sometimes that’s the best way to do it. People can be selfish, it’s always about how THEY feel and never about what’s best for you. Move in silence until it’s solid. 🙏🏽 you did amazing 🤍

Just subscribed. Wishing you the best on your new journey 🤍

Thank you! Congrats to you too mama💕

Thinking about moving there but don’t know where to start!
