Awesome review, thanks for sharing! I've got the 16inch XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro drawing monitor and after about 3 months of using the tablet I'm very happy with it. If you take your time to configure the button and pressure settings to your liking, adjust the colour and the pen then it's really great.. I use it as a stationary tablet, I often work long hours with it but it doesn't get too hot . The lines are smooth, the screen is good and I don't think it's far off the big cintiq to be honest.
can you tell me how to do that? i want to buy a drawing tablet and im debating the xp pen 15.6 or this huion kamvas 16. if i decide which one, ill need some help setting it up :(
@@Gabriel-jg5wh yeah i decided! i bought the huion kamvas 20 which is the upgraded version of the gt-191. i dont reccomend the 15.6 of ANY brand case the space you actually draw on is 13.3 inches and you can buy a flip touchscreen laptop with a bigger screen for less. i advidse the 20+ in size, its perfect but if you like smaller, do your research. its always smaller then they say
Huion needs to update the driver. My Kamvas 16 is very glitchy. At first it would extend the line I am drawing to the edge of the screen. Now whenever I hover over the screen with the pen (about .5 inches) it acts as thought there is contact.
I just got this like right now and for some reason I thought that you only needed one of the cables plugged in (HDMI OR usb) and was wondering why it wasn't working LMFAO thank you for specifying that two go into my laptop. it's working now and I am very excited. ❤️
You can adjust the colour settings on the tablet to make them match your monitor. All monitors vary in their colours so its normal to need to adjust the tablet a bit.
I really like you're review, it was super informative for me. I'm trying to get a new art tablet and I have been looking into this one. I would prefer one that doesn't require cords connecting to your computer so I can take it anywhere with me to use, I don't own a laptop to take around with me. I notice this comes with the connecting cords to attach it to the pc but do you HAVE to, to use the tablet? If so is there any recommendations to an art tablet that I don't have to connect to a pc to use? The one I have is basically a monitor I can draw on, but cant take anywhere. I loved using it but since it's old now and I'm having a lot of issues to the point my pens wont connect to it at all I'd like to update to one that meets more of my needs.
as the comment below states, all pen displays need a pc/mac or other laptop. if you want something totally 'portable' that doesn't connect to anything, just get an iPad. if you don't have a computer or otherwise then a pen display isn't for you, unless you want to invest in purchasing one.
Hi. I bought this tablet based on this and a few other reviews. I just received it today but it comes with no drivers. I went to the Huion web site and downloaded them but they are in Chinese. Where did you get your drivers?
Does cursor stays in center of pen tip, when your tilt the pen? I saw some people complaining on huion pens, that when pen is tilted the brush is offset few millimetres from the center. But when you hold the pen straight it works ok.
I have this tablet and I don’t know how to access the settings to adjust the colours (the colours on the tablet are slightly different from the ones on my laptop) does anyone know how I can fix it?
The pen has pressure sensitivity so if your drawing program has the brush then yes. You can draw in any style with the tablet. The the drawing program on your PC is where you will need to check to see if it has the brushes you want.
I made a series of videos a few years back all about beginner digital art tips - it's too many tips to type here but if you search for those videos on my channel they may help you:)
hi! a new subscriber here. I love your video! so glad I found your channel. a quick question, I'm using a Wacom now, and been thinking about getting this Huion kamvas 16. so am I have to delete my Wacom program from my laptop if I want to use Huion? thanks for your time! have a nice day :)
Hi! Thanks for subscribing. Happy to have you here. And yes you will need to uninstall the Wacom driver or at least turn it off. The two drivers will be in conflict otherwise:)
Hi. I just want to ask. What OS you are using? Because i bought same tablet yesterday. I use it on Windows 10. Some features are not working. Plz help me

How is the color reproduction in this one? I know there are better and brighter screens, but for working on a daily basis (mostly art commissions) is okay?
@@joshuah345 I've been trying to figure out how to do this, and I can't. When I think I have it, my pen won't register on the tablet, and is on my computer, not the tablet when I click/move. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and searched the interwebs for answers. Nothing has helped. Any tips?

Hello! May I ask what size the adapter plug is? Is it 5.5mm to 2.1?
I actually just got this one and I was searching up how to use it

How do you fix the fact that on the monitor the colours are off on what it shows on the pen display? How do you fix that so it matches?
You can adjust the colour settings on the tablet to make them match your monitor. All monitors vary in their colours so its normal to need to adjust the tablet a bit.
Windy Iris Art how though? And sorry for the late reply ;-;
Great Review, but is there any software that doesn't require monthly payments that works with this?
Sketchbook Pro is free I think. Or least was before.
Does this have laminated display ? What's the real difference between this and Kamvas 16 pro ?

Any pen display has to connect to something. It seems like what you are looking for is an ipad or equivalent.

Est-ce qu'on doit brancher la tablette à un pc?
pour qu'elle fonctionne?
Ouai, Tu doit brancher la tablette avec HDMI et USB
the kamvas 16 is just the gt-156 but re branded

Cool... But how about comix style drawing?... The thick and thin line effects with the real brush .... Can kamvas 16 do it the same also?
