A real classic, this one. I'm tempted to say this is THE episode to introduce people to Gunsmoke with, it's just so much fun. It also contains one of my favorite lines in all of otr: "Like a kid with two tongues and an all-day sucker."😄
I have a technical broadcasting question. What did the local stations do with the long musical bed after the “CBS Radio Network” outcue? It seems like there’s not much time remaining before the next program begins.
What doesn’t make sense is, Mame has a rule that she never lets her gun go empty, just in case, but then she takes the chance of losing her gun, gambling!😂
Love these programs.
With a title like "Hinka Do," you'd think Jimmy Durante was the guest star! 🤣

Classic Western with a great storyline. Matt was scared to death of her. Me too. 🤠

I needed a laugh tonight.
Brilliant
"Why the woman's a human monstrosity!" Lol!
MATT: "Here's to the weaker sex!"
CHESTER: "Mr. Dillon, which one is that?"... LOL
Thanks for the Episodes 😁
No problem! Thanks for listening.

Thank you!
Les Crutchfield wrote this unique episode with the editorial approval of John Mestin. This must have been prior to Miss Kitty's arrival on the series.
Yup, before Kitty, they went with "Big Kate." Kitty was a very good change.
This is listed as episode #25. I just listened to #22, and Kitty was in it.
Matt and Chester and others on Gun smoke were WW2 veterans. Parley Baer and William Conrad were flyers.
Chester could f----k up a free lunch
Jeanette Nolan was great in this humorous episode. Couldn't stop laughing.
She is absolute magic in this.
Featuring the great character actress, Jeanette Nolan.
She did quite a few radio programs, movies and TV too.
