Dawn dishwashing liquid is a great degreaser. Soak what you want to clean in hot water with a good squirt of dawn for about 10 minutes, clean and rinse.

I don’t mind a cleaning video every once in awhile as long as a home is legit messy. I cringe when I see the tons of TH-cam videos called “Ultimate Cleaning” and the people are cleaning already clean homes. Personally, those do not motivate me. Sometimes you don’t see the “dirty” unless they show close up. Doesn’t mean it’s perfectly clean. Also, why does someone have to have a dirty house for them to clean it? Deep cleaning “tidied homes” are personally more motivating for me because it shows me I can do it.. I don’t have to let it get dirty before “cleaning”. :)
I love your Victorian home and decor. I tend to watch a lot of cleaning videos while I’m cleaning. I also like to see how people organize- so it was nice to see how you found extra storage on the cart in your bathroom.

I guess you could say I'm a mom of 2 daughters... My niece lives with me. She helps a ton, she is very organized and my daughter loves her. She cooks and cleans. And my favorite moments are on a weekend when we tackle the house together! I work 12 weekday so I try to make the weekend special. Saturday & Sunday we have a day out after cleaning the house. I commend you for doing so much and by yourself! I wouldn't trade being a mom for anything!
My absolute favorite part of all of this is your adorable puppy lump...on the bed!! Lol. My kitty Violet does the exact same thing! Hahaha....(always an escape route and air to breathe on the sides)

Purple blast is an amazing degreaser...I manage a tire and battery company and we use that for everything and I use it in the house...it also helps with rust too!
Great video! Love your energy. Assign your kids one 'after shower' towel every 4 days. They are clean once out of the shower. It will really save on all the towel laundry!

I actually scrub my grates rinse then put them in the dishwasher. They come out great! I also use Vinegar & baking soda on my stove, then rinse well. It turns out very nice!

Girl I am the mother 5 now grown children. The only way to keep my stove clean was not cooking. That was not an option so I just did a quick clean every night and put as many pieces as possible in the dishwasher. Dawn dishwashing liquid was the best degreaser EVER!

You have a great outlook on you and your husbands life that you have built for your family. I love that and I think definitely having one gathering room for your children will definitely make them closer as well, I am one of 7 and all of us girls did the same thing we all wound up sleeping in the room together. My brother would sleep on the floor sometimes just to blend in 🤣🤣🤣 (6 girls and 1 boy).

I’ve been using the Dawn power wash with a little baking soda to degrease . I spray it on let it set a few minutes then sprinkle on some baking soda & scrub with those flat scrubby things from Dollar tree . I buy a pack for a dollar , use one maybe twice then toss it .

I love how you remove your snow to clean! Yesterday I removed all of my decorations to clean the mantle and it feels so good and looks so much better! I also have 4 children and been married for 30 yrs and cook two meals a day still to this day 😂 and don’t know what to use for the stove. I’ve used a lot of products so now I just use Dawn and hot water and finish off with windex. Ohh how fun 🤩 that your children sleep in one room! My three daughters at one point slept together in one room and my son in his. I did see your whole video 😳 and now I just remembered I have a load in the washer and another one in the dryer 😝

Just found this you tube site. I love it! Not sure if you'll see my suggestion, but I use oven cleaner on my stove grills and pans. It loosens the burnt on grime and I don't scratch them trying to scrub it off.
That will be so nice for your kids when they get older to have all these video's. I always crack up at the breathing little furry lump that stays in the bed even after you make it :)

I have a cleaning crew come in once a month (since my children were young). I don’t drink or smoke so having that help is my vice. I do keep things tidy in the interim.

We use a mat underneath the burners and in the ovens. I use dawn and I also use Krud Kutter it is fab. My husband likes 409.
It must be awesome having two dishwashers..we use Krud Kudder from Lowe's or Home Depot, even walmart has it, it's in the paint section, safe for aminals

I enjoyed the video. Maybe you could create a chore chart for your children to encourage them to make their own beds, change their own sheets weekly, empty the dishwasher, sweep, feed the animals, etc. You have so much on your plate that it might be nice to have some little helpers.

Happy Holidays, Dawn dish washing liquid is good for grease but I have also found out two new cleansers that are fabulous, 1st try "Simple Green" and then a new one I simply love is Krud Kutter. The Krud Kutter is spray on and wipe off. And for hard grease build up , just spray on and leave and come back with a hot towel to wipe off. I love this product and it's great for cleaning your barbecue also. Happy Cleaning :)

To clean stove and oven grease use Zep spray bottle industrial strength degreaser. You can order from amazon and Lowe’s also sells Zep. Hope this helps and really enjoy your videos.

There is no way I would clean two times a week and have my decor already in place!!! Relax, clean around it until time for takedown. You are wearing me out watching you!!
As much as I enjoy using Mrs. Myers products, I have found that they just don't cut the grease. I use a dishwasher pod to clean the inside of my stove (scrub the pod on the grime like a sponge, then wipe off). I use regular dish soap on the top of my stove and it's components. I find that those products cut the grease the best. Lastly, an unsolicited tip, lol... I use Comet on my porcelin farmhouse sink on the gray transfer marks that are ever present from my sheet pans and pots. Works like a gem every single time.

Thank you!! We do, but usually when they are at school and I am not working, I am for sure cleaning our house. I love having a nice clean home for them to come home to.
To decrease the stove: In the sink add really hot water; then ad Tide liquid detergent and place your stove parts in the water and let them sit for about 1 hour. Rinse afterwards and dry. The caked on grease will slide off. You may need a Brillo pad for the really tough stuff.
There is a product GP66 that I get from QVC. It's an awesome degreaser

I used baking soda 1tsp and rubbing alcohol 2 tsp 2 drops Dawn soap hot water mix in bowl put spray bottle . Test formula a part stove will spotted . Then spray it leave 5 min then clean. Leaving clean💕

Enjoyed the clean with me video. Originally found your channel with your holiday decorating, which I love. I’m much older than you and my kids (3) are in their mid to late 20’s. Your hard work ethic and love of family is what attracted me to your channel. I keep thinking why I and so many others enjoy these mom channel videos. maybe it’s because before TH-cam era, you never knew if others did what you did or worked as hard as a mom or told you were doing a great job. So kinda of weird but I think mom creator videos sorta of justify that you did or doing a good job. Also, great idea to document for your kids because I wonder too if my kids will remember what the trees looked like, the Christmas village etc. Positives of technology for sure!
