I’ll cook all day, organize all day, garden all day but I hate cleaning. I have finally gotten to the point in my life where I can pay someone else to do it and not feel guilty. So, twice a month, I enter into a home that smells fresh like lemons and that is my favorite part of cleaning!! 😜
Iam a Puerto Rican gal, was born in New York in the 60th, been living in the state of Georgia for the past 25 yrs, mother of 3 beautiful young woman. I have 9 grandchildren n another due next month. Wow you did great. The empty, clean and restock/reorganized is my favorite. Yours looks great. Would you mind sometimes showing your wall art. It’s beautiful, I’m interested in themes, framing etc. Also your staging of accent tables, the way you use lamps, books, candles. Your sensibility for staging is spot on.
My favorite thing about cleaning is…hands down cleaning with Mrs. Meyers! I especially love the scents of fall and Christmas.They bring such a smile to my face🥰 BTW I’m a newbie to your channel…love all the things you do🤗
I have the same blue dutch oven. I love it. I love how much space you have. I just made over a closet under the stairs to be a pantry. We don't need a big one because it is just my hubby and I. Our kids are all away at college.
That is awesome! Honestly, I will do a closet clean with me and you will see how tiny our closets are... I am so happy we have a nice big pantry because our closets are shoe boxes :)
Looks great Lauren..I have ocd so I put things together also..each time you buy a new food,wipe the shelves down and put it where it belongs and then it will stay looking great..I loved every thing u did and how nice everything looked..
What a fabulous room! I hate decluttering and when I saw all the things on the kitchen table, I wondered if you were like me thinking what have I gotten myself into lol! The best part is seeing the finished product! Don't you find yourself just walking by to look at the room! You did an amazing job! Once a space has been assigned for your items it is much easier to maintain! I especially like the coffee bar area it is very warm and inviting!

The main thing I think is to pick up after yourself and put everything back where it goes so the house always looks picked up and tidy. Start teaching your children and give them chores to do. You have to teach them when they are small to pick up after themselves, it teaches them responsibility and life skills.

all those cleaners under the washing machine, I have same styl drawers underneath just clothes keeping detergens and such here; other compartment older rags to grab and drying hangers. Under dryer I have makers cleaning cloths, special window cloths and dusting cloths from makers. Next compartment mop replacement pads and steam mop replacement pads more makers floor pads. I've beenwatching your hanel from the beginning of your videos. Keeps me plugging along, my home fell into neglect. I became very ill and did not realize how sick i was, now i do dialysis. Its as struggle some days but ir feels worse if I dont so its a strange therapy for me, the nurses ask about my progress on the house. Soomebody is listening to me! I love to watch yoir channel cuz Ilove to cook also, instead of going out to eat you can give yourself what you're craving. That complete nourishment! I really appreciate your channel cuz ppl like to comment on my fancy stuff I cook bothers me that a popover is fancy. NOT eggs milk flour melted butter. The same ppl cant cook wihtout campbells creamof mushroom soup. I opened a can of that once looked so disgusting and the dog wouldnt eat it. So nope. Me I just keep plugging away me and the house its all coming together.
Oh wow....my best tricks were every one had a bin for book bags..shoes etc..in the mud room. Weekly they cleaned them out. Worked great for our three sons....😄
I'd say our island is the hardest to keep totally clean, but the junkiest area is definitely the laundry room. I don't mind washing/drying/folding, but I HATE putting things away. Our garage is a catch all too. My favorite thing to clean is the pantry. I love organizing.
You are certainly blessed with a big beautiful space. My current house has the first pantry I've ever had but it can't compare to the size of yours. Love all your storage bins.
Thanks for sharing! One of my tricks for my pantry and overflow pantry and storage, is to take everything out of the boxes! And put the boxes or contents in prety baskets and bulk storage containers! Saves soooo much space! 😘

Our “drop” space is the enclosed breezeway. It’s leads into the kitchen from the garage. There is a table placed oh so conveniently between the two doorways. I deal with it by using the front door instead.😉

Hi Lauren, I loved your cleaning video❤️ I love to organize but things get out of hand sometimes! I had just cleaned/ organized things under my sink when we had to have a plumber this summer- thank goodness I only had to slide out three bins when he started working! My laundry room also serves as my big furry dog’s “ dining room” so I started a new routine to keep it clean this summer- guess you could call it my cleaning tip. While my morning coffee is brewing , I sweep the laundry room( he’s a messy boy💕) , clean and refill his bowl with dry food. At least I can enjoy my coffee with a clean laundry room! It has really helped to keep it under control! I enjoy your videos so much- glad I found your channel❤️ sending love from Kansas💕❤️💕🌻🌻

Great cleaning and organizing video. Everything looks amazing. It looks like going into the grocery store. Isn’t that such a good feeling when you go in there. I try to always take the time to put everything away in its proper space. My place that tends to get out of control is my garage. I just have to many seasonal decorations in bins out there. Along with shelf’s full of cleaning supplies and lawn tools and ladder storage you have motivated me to tackle that darn garage. Ugh!

On things that don't fit the laundry drawers suggestion...maybe find some containers that fit the drawers then label and transfer them to the new containers and reuse them as they empty. You could make the labels look pretty enough to leave them out on counters ...🤔

Here are some of my favorite tips to organizing a ton of small items.... As a Pro Makeup Artist I am overwhelmed by all the makeup I have...so....this may help....it would apply to kitchen pantry, craft supplies, etc. 1. A vairiety of decorative storage boxes that are all the same size in each category. Ex. 4 small...4 medium...4 large...etc. 2. Separate each item by category and size. Ex. All lip pencils....all eyeliners...all eyeshadows...etc. 3. Decide what items go into what size storage box/ then label on outsize of box. 4. Decorative boxes can be displayed in full view like a decorative vignette. Or...visually it gives a relaxing calming effect when things stored are visually easy to look at. This has helped me in organizing thousands of makeup items...cleaning items...medicines etc. And...I live in 800 square feet! So my closets and drawers are like a full on Jenga puzzle! Lol
I'm dying to know how you manage to do everything. I think that you said you work full time and go to grad school and make these videos and have 4 children. Please tell us how you manage your time and how you do this. I can't fit half of this in a day. Love your videos, btw. You're doing an amazing job. :)
I don’t try to clean my house all in one day! Clean certain areas on diff days so it’s not too overwhelming!! I agree with you on stuff that doesn’t fit in those washer & dryer drawers! Lol!! Make drawers taller or shorter bottles!!! Lol!! Great video!!!! 🎃🎃🎃🎃

I guess we don't go thru items quick enough-- I'm always finding things I've forgotten that have expired, so I'm glad to have the pkg with the date.

I don’t try to clean my house all in one day! Clean certain areas on diff days so it’s not too overwhelming!! I agree with you on stuff that doesn’t fit in those washer & dryer drawers! Lol!! Make drawers taller or shorter bottles!!! Lol!! Great video!!!! 🎃🎃🎃🎃

Well, I have been binging your channel, and you're my favorite! I detest grey walls in every room, buffalo check everything, and furniture from Hobby Lobby and Target. Actually, I'm not a fan of 'farmhouse.' I've been collecting blue and white chinoiserie (four sets of dishes - all dominated by the color cobalt blue - for fifty years). Keep your blue and white!
