Your entrance way is nice but just a suggestion to let the bench be the focal point. The desk or table or whatever you usually put there looks like you just sat something there. Maybe try putting the desk against the wall on the left.
I have been watching your videos for awhile now and just now realized why you are my favorite. You do not show your children. You are so very kind to your animals. It kind of makes me laugh because I remember doing the same with my home after the kids left for school. We didn’t have the decor that you today but I tried to make each holiday special. I enjoy your channel because it inspires me try some decorating ideas. Napa Valley is so beautiful. Spring up here is seeing all the flowers and trees starting to open. Hi, I've watched a few videos on your decorating but this is my first comment. I felt compelled to comment for two main reasons. I appreciate that one can see children live in your home. I think it's great when kids can be kids. I have seen at least 2 other YT'ers that have kids and you'd never know unless they said it. I find that profoundly sad. They show their home and it's like it's always ready for staging. I like real people/real homes. Also, I enjoyed some of your Christmas decorating because you decorate so warmly for the holidays. I really don't want to see "neutral" decorations just because it might "match" the house. There needs to be warmth, love, and joy in decorating and you consistently seem to achieve that.
What a beautiful city ! I get up at 5:30 and go to swim my laps (1/2 mile )at the Y …..5 days a week. The morning is the best part of the day , even in central New York State !! I love my Ruggables.
This walk was perfect to see before our upcoming trip. We are visiting Sonoma and Napa for a week in June and so looking forward to it! We are big foodies and red wine lovers. It's been awhile but used to go out there in September for our anniversary many times. This visit coming with our best friends and rented a great house 3 miles from the square in Sonoma. Can't wait!!!

Lauren- hi! I just bought my first Ruggable Rugs. I bought two runners for my kitchen, I opted for the pad lining with more cushion. So first I do love them but what I don’t love is how much the move. It’s so crazy but I’m constantly fixing them an positioning them correctly. Drives my OCD tendency in to overdrive. I was laughing at you when you notice the rug wasn’t centered. I would have had to fix it right away too! Anyway, fun video today, thank you for all you do. Would also love to know if anyone else has these same struggles with their Ruggable.

We used to live in Napa but moved back to the bay area because the commute was killing my husband. Love the smell the air and just the down to earth feeling. My aunt and uncle had a summer place in St Helena so i grew up in that area. Enjoy one of the prettiest place in the world. I am jealous. Lol

Hi, I have been a subscriber for a year or little longer. I lived in SQUAW VALLEY California for 20+ years. My husband and I dont have kids just critters been married for 36 years. We our retired ranch managers. We bought a place and moved to Montana and just take care of our 12 horses, 20 working cow dogs and misc...critters! LOL I love your channel cause I love to clean and decorate, so always looking at others style...just for ideas and fun! I have a small log cabin and in law cabin which I am in the process of turning into a tack room! LOL

Need some advice Lauren! I see you made your son a cheeseburger for lunch, which sounds amazing! But does it not get mushy (bun) and just cold by lunch time and not hot? I’ve tried packing things like soup and pasta in a warmed up thermos and wort that she even says it was “sort of warm” by lunch time, so I am curious about how hot things work with the bento box! We have one and I feel limited serving things that are just ok for room temp or cold items with an ice pack. Thanks ☺️

Lauren- I made this slaw, I got the recipe from your website and used sour cream instead of mayo like you did in this video but left out the beans and it was really good. But I wanted to let you know how I used the leftover slaw the next day and this dish I came up with turned out insanely good- I boiled lo mein egg noodles according to package. Then stir-fried them in a pan with soy sauce. I put them in a bowl and mixed in your leftover slaw, then added some sesame oil, garlic powder and chopped fresh cilantro on top. It was sooo good I could hardly stand it. The spices and crunchiness of the slaw was such a good combination with the noodles. I wish you could see how beautifully colored the dish was. I could eat this every day. Thank you for sharing this great slaw recipe.

I loved seeing all the animals + the chickens too. Chewy on the couch melted my heart :) The taco's look super good. I'm definitely keeping track of that recipe. I was cracking up about the cats saying you were an embarrassment to the family. Sometimes my husband does something and I tell him, that our dog can't even invite his friends over because he'd be too embarrassed of his dad. It also cracks me up when you point out the tv stand is still hanging out. It keeps turning up like a bad penny for you :)

Love your hens. We just got 2 new ones but our older ones started pecking 1 and drew quite a bit of blood - apparently they'll peck them to death! so we've made a new pen and hoping we can reintroduce them again in a few weeks
Yes! They do ~ it’s terrible! I am so happy you saved them, when they are bigger you can re-introduced them and they should get along just fine. it’s just that when chicken see other chickens they think are weak, they have like what you would call a pecking order and they kill them it’s really sad
If you can just put them together but keep them separated with chicken wire. I
@@sailorarwen6101 yeah we separated them for about 6 weeks but they were still within the 1 big pen and thankfully they integrated perfectly 😊

I do Chipotle peppers a lil mayo sour cream lemon and lime juice, minced garlic, and a drizzle of honey.. blend. Try mahi mahi next time, dry rub.. smoked paprika, garlic, chili powder, salt n pepper.. then I do avocado, and slaw of choice on fajita or taco wraps.. so good

I enjoy all your videos and most of all your ability to get it all done by following your daily planner... to remove the stain from your chair try Method Stain Remover from Grove Collaborative let sit for about 5 minutes and tap and rub clean with a semi hot towel... that stain will be history... This has work for me and I use it daily to remove stain from clothing... Have an awesome Easter ✨✨✨

I got the chance to visit Napa one summer several years ago, as I have family in the bay area so the drive isn’t too far. Such a beautiful place! We visited this winery called Castillo di Amarosa, or something like that, and I still think of the wine there to this day 🍷🤍

For my chickens I purchased a soap making silicone mold and I’d freeze water in it and just put the block of ice outside. (Edit: my thought process for using a soap making mold was that I could make a large block of of ice). The chickens would lay near it and it would cool the ground as it melted. They seemed to really enjoy it.

Hello from my quaint little town in Ohio! Love your videos, they give me motivation on renovating/decorating my home while working full time and being a wife and Mom of a teenager. Just finished a entire bedroom makeover for my son today, it’s hard when they grow up but I feel so accomplished! Thanks for advice on planners and keeping organized, I strive to make progress in those areas.
