Yes I'm excited for this. Metal Slug is my favorite Run and Gun game series and I've always loved turn based tactics or strategy games. Some of my earliest memories that don't involve needles are dad teaching me how to play chess when I was a little kid. (I have a lot of health issues and have had most of them since birth or since I was a toddler so I've had far more experience with needles then I wish.)

The demo works in steam deck, just that you have to use a keyboard, the remmaping functionality says pending.

I realllly loved the demo - as an Into the Breach fan, I managed to beat the boss first run, but it had my brain burning ngl

I tried the demo last night and had a good time with it. There are still some bugs, some quirks that needs ironing out before the release in Fall but I have high hopes! My only other tactics experience is Fae Tactics and this is definitively the more easy-going of the two, which is appreciated ^^'

Glad that this game is going to have a challenge to it, that was frankly my only worry after seeing the gameplay and the artstyle, my goty after Rebirth personally
