    I really like the way that even though you may make some slight modifications to a pattern you still show high regard for the pattern designer when explaining the modification you made. Refreshing!

    I made this bag and I found that the side connectors do stretch. There was nothing heavy in the bag either. I would recommend the rivet solution you mention.

    This bag is simply beautiful. Thank you for going over the pieces and types of interfacing you use. - I find that extremely helpful. Your stitching is perfect, as always. Thank you for sharing your talents and always being positive. And, I have to say this but "a fourth-inch seam allowance" is perfectly understandable. Great work, thank you for sharing!

    wow I love this bag , you choose beautiful fabrics, Kassiah, what I love about this , is the way the strap attaches, I only have a domestic and I struggle sewing over the bulk of strap connectors, there isnt any on this to make it difficult, I havent made a bag in over a year because of that, as Im going to end up burning my motor out trying, but this is one I may try, and if all goes OK, I may use this on other bags I see you making that I can do this to, thanks Needle & Anchor and thank you Kassiah for another fantastic tutorial

    Fabulous tutorial, as always. Thank you. I am wondering why you use pinking shears on the top curve of the bag but not on the gussets.

    • @NeedleAnchor
      @NeedleAnchor 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way the gusset lays it isn't a harsh curve so it's not necessary but of course you can use pinking shears on the gusset too. The gusset does get trimmed just not with pinking shears.

    When you interface with a "woven" interfacing, is it more of a lightweight woven or thicker to something similarly called a plus or 2? Thank you for another awesome tutorial! I always look forward to your next one :)

  • @LuvMyCardiKids
    @LuvMyCardiKids 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think it’d be easier to add a cross body strap by threading through the O-ring and then go across the adjustable bar on the slider and sew that down. Now thread the other end through the slider openings, down through the bar on the gusset, through the O-ring and sew and rivet it. It’d be so much easier to sew the part on the slider if you do it first so nothing else is in your way.
