You don't know me, so I'm sure this doesn't mean anything to you, but you are by far my favorite electric scooter content creator. I love your calm demeanor, your video format, your opinions, everything about you. I'm 32 years old, and you inspired me to buy my first scooter. Keep up the good work man.
Just got my Eagle One today and it's beyond dope. I'm a lighter person at around 135lbs, but this thing shreds! Amazing video as always and glad to see it perform well off-road with just the tire swap.
Great video. Scenery was amazing, mad skills on those trails.. I’m more interested in off road scooting than speed scooting.. so these are the videos and scooter trials I’m looking for.. thanks for the work and sharing..
Definitely crazy but what a fun set of rides! Hope the Varla fared well. Certainly wasn't made for half of that stuff for sure lmao.. heard a good few tings from stones and things hitting those rotors! Thanks for sharing :D
What I find is if you air down the tires just a couple psi it helps the tire give to the rocks a little and grip way better, this is what I've found on my own off-road scooter keep up the good content and hopefully I can join a group ride here soon in the future!
I’m sure you are going to sell a bunch of eagle ones with this video. The camera work was outstanding. The distant shots were amusing because no one is supposed to do that on a scooter!!
I find they're pretty good on dirt and light gravel. They don't do so well on loose, deep gravel because the small wheels sink in like a kid in a foam pit. Even on street tires you can do pretty well on hard pack ground, but definitely helps to have offroad tires. Otherwise deep ruts, big rocks, and big roots scare me not because I think they'll make me wipe out, but because I'm afraid of hitting a disk brake. I think in the future if there's ever such thing as a dedicated offroad scooter it's gonna use a combination of drum brakes and electric braking for 0 worries about damage.
I am looking to get my first e-scooter and considering Kaabo Mantis Pro and the 52V Zero 10X 24Ah but can't decide, I am about 95kg and want to do some light off road but easy trails not like what you have been hammering, great videos love watching them, hopefully me soon.
Thank You your videos have been very helpful for me learning safety, adding accessories, and keeping my eagle one in top running condition. BUT, my front end has a ton of play and makes for a very unsafe feeling while riding, is this normal? Yes, all is tight and properly fitted on the scooter. I had steering problems when I first unboxed the scooter and took it apart and loosened the steering head, much better. But when I accelerate of brake I have tons of movement/play in the front end. It is the part that connects to the frame, the floor board. Varla has not been helpful at all as of yet. Thanks for any guidance or help you can provide. Charlie
you have got a new fan with this one 👍🏽 thats how it should be, hammering it for a solid review. Thanks for the beautiful footage, too. Unfortunately we don’t get then here in Australia. Suspension looks like stewed all the way towards tide. Whats your weight? Do you think it would suit heavier riders? What is the range in single motor eco mode?
Great video! I'm currently looking at which scooter to buy for this exact purpose. What do you do if/when the scooter breaks down in that type of terrain? Are you supposed to walk it like 5 miles back to your car? Thanks,
Amazing ride! Yeah the eagle one did get pushed to its limits Sadly i got a flat and the rear fender on my scooter broke so it'll be a day or 2 to get it working again. It was close that the brakes stopped working. Oh and if you wonder why it broke it was some dude that tried to break my scooter by riding a bike so it hit the back wheel 😐
You know he brought his Dad in case he got into trouble. At about 6:21, (after they stop due to rocks), the worst of the trail shows how poor scooters do compared to a mountain bike.
The Eagle One can handle more than what's stated on their site, but this video will prove that depending on the path you can ride easily and take more shortcuts (provided that you have the correct tires). But nevertheless I enjoyed watching this video. I might be changing my front tire to the hybrid tire to really get the full experience.
@@RK9Rides I'd think 760mm is a bit too wide. I'm waiting for my Varla sometime this month and plan on swapping to wider bars but looking at around 700mm which is about 2" wider vs. the stock bars. Waiting to get it first to figure out what rise height I want too.
Not sure why you would want to ride a scooter on some of those stony paths. It made me squirm a bit seeing the punishment the scooter was getting. Having said that, the cinematography was jaw dropping, as others have said. I look forward to your videos on less damaging surfaces.
Wide Wheel Pro is a good scooter with dual motors, but it’ll run you about 1,200. Or Qiewa Q Mini 2 which is way more powerful for an extra hundred bucks. If you’re willing to do a little footwork you can find some lesser known Chinese brands that actually make decent scooters. They’ll also be significantly cheaper then the brand names which also have their scooters made in China. Beware of the quality of some though. If you dig you can find some gems.
Do you think youd do this/ itd be fun, if didnt make videos ..just for the sake of scooting the trails alone? I dont make vids so undecided if this looks fun or not/if i should get offroad scooter
That was all grean trail for MTB if you goo on bloo or red forget about that you will trash scooter cos ewry trail has litle yump and its not for that geo os scooter and 11+ wheels are smool but I think this is 8 that is torturing your self and scooter
Big news! The first ever line of RK9 Rides apparel and merch is out!

Thanks, that means a lot!
Awesome. I love this kind of off road content. Fantastic to see your dad join you for parts of the ride.
Just got my Eagle One today and it's beyond dope. I'm a lighter person at around 135lbs, but this thing shreds! Amazing video as always and glad to see it perform well off-road with just the tire swap.
Awesome footage. I love the rearview shots especially! Thx for filming!

Great footage man! You're really pushing this scooter to its limits.
Awesome Ride/Review.. Great camera views and mix of terrains.
👏👍🤘
Definitely love to see a lot more of this type of riding.
Great video. I will be getting mine in three days, can't wait. Been waiting almost a month.
Well, you've convinced me - I'll definitely be upgrading my tires. I gotta get out on the trails! (I live in SLC.)
Definitely love to see more of this!
Hi - been subbed to you from when i had a escooter - Good riding man especially the terrain you was on !
This is super informative and well made, thanks!
Thank you! This is what Arizona trails are like. I am so tired of seeing “off road” trails that are merely smooth dirt roads.
Definitely crazy but what a fun set of rides! Hope the Varla fared well. Certainly wasn't made for half of that stuff for sure lmao.. heard a good few tings from stones and things hitting those rotors! Thanks for sharing :D
damn varla should be sponsoring you for a video like this, quality
Nice reviwe good to
See what the scooter
Can do.
Looks like a killer
Scooter.
Thanks.
That looked pretty challenging for machine and rider alike. Well done...and great video! :)
Sounded like something metal came off @6:48!
A rock hit the brake disk, I've had this happen to me off-roading on my scooter too, the disks are very close to the rocks you're riding by on these.
What I find is if you air down the tires just a couple psi it helps the tire give to the rocks a little and grip way better, this is what I've found on my own off-road scooter keep up the good content and hopefully I can join a group ride here soon in the future!

That was actually pretty impressive, you know to see a scooter handle some of that stuff really decently

Amazing Riding! Those rocks are as big as your tires! I want to see you try Slick Rock trail in Moab. I think that would be an adventure to see.
I'll have to check it out!
This was awesome. Do it again with the Mantis 10 V2? :D (Solid props to your dad, too, if he's handling these trails alongside you!)
Really awesome video! People will love seeing the scooter vs mtb

I hope you did a bolt check after the ride because it was brutal and fun …. Love it
I wish you could share the scooter power setting for different trails!
big wheels win!
I wonder how the zero 11x does... I ordered mine but won't be here soon....

Got a zero 10x 60v after watching your videos! I love it!!
Great video, any more on this scooter?
did you try lowering the tire pressure? on the horse trail.

Were the rocks scraping on the bottom of the scooter most of the time?
Nope, a hit the bottom a couple times but the clearance is pretty great on the eagle one
Great video love these types of rides on my turbowheel phaeton/11x handles it very well just lose bolts some times but not bad for how hard I ride it
Q tal hermano yo acabo de comprar uno pero la amortiguación suena muy feo que amortiguadores compraste luego
ohh man, may please tell us what came untighten after the ride?
Great video! I'm currently looking at which scooter to buy for this exact purpose.
What do you do if/when the scooter breaks down in that type of terrain? Are you supposed to walk it like 5 miles back to your car? Thanks,
this actually asmr it helped me sleep
Hi man
Do you have the rugged clamp upgrade?
No, but I definitely plan to get one
Is that the stock version or have you timmed it or addded anything to it?
How many battery packs did you use on this trail? Did you find a significant drop off in power as the battery was depleted?
Oh man do i love offroading . I dont like the non escapable rotor replacment from rocks and obstacles bending and nicking them them lol
Amazing ride! Yeah the eagle one did get pushed to its limits

Try lowering tyre pressure for offroading, to increase grip
Did a 10 mile run, mostly bike trails and sidewalks. I got up to 36mph in a bike lane with like 50% battery tho shit was fun
Thats what kind of riding I'll want to do fishing and camping.
Yes, New Jersey, I'm moving there.
What an epic video
"Holy moly, it's so loose"
- RK9 Rides
Hey i bought a scooter and dont know what a good tire pressure is, can someone help me out? its a yume s10
that's some crazy content this guy 😅
Ok... Has anyone done a similar ride with the Nanrobot D4+
It just sjow that it is better riding on larger wheels. Like the EasyBike G16
Cool video! How wide are your handlebars and is the clamp size a 31.8mm?
I'm running my bars at 760mm wide but I have been considering cutting them down down to 740mm. Clamp is 31.8mm

can you suggest any good dual motor scooters around $1000

Just got mine stolen, but the eagle one pro, not even 100 miles, 2,300$ gone
this is why i bought my Eagle One
Dang that's some nasty stuff you went through with that scooter..
Impressive -- but those trails are all matted packed down. Instead, lets see it go through 6 inch deep thick sand or mud vs a 20" fat wheel ebike.
Your scooter will never be the same after this ride, must be recycled)))
listen to that creaking stem
Yeah the scooter wasn't very happy with me
I'm concerned he fell and hit his head, and may not realize where he's riding.
So ‘stones’ on gravel = ‘technical’.
I’ll stick to my MTB.
Get an electric MTB
The steep trail did not look like fun lol
It was fun once it was done haha
You don’t get to choose the stupid adds being played before your vids ?
That was all grean trail for MTB if you goo on bloo or red forget about that you will trash scooter cos ewry trail has litle yump and its not for that geo os scooter and 11+ wheels are smool but I think this is 8 that is torturing your self and scooter
First ;)
nope I was first
Damn :(
Great video. I will be getting mine in three days, can't wait. Been waiting almost a month.
