Hi, Allison. Wonderful video, as always. I love your patterns. My little princess (granddaughter) loves carring them around in a baby carrier. The bigger size is perfect. The gingerbread girl is too adorable. Your designs are so amazing. I love them all. I do not have a winder either. I just use the skeins. Thank you so much for all the patterns and videos. You always make my day.😊😊😊 Hope you have a wonderful week.
Having a yarn winder is great for when you've got less than half your skein left- prevents tangling and looking messy. I don't typically wind my chenille until it's low, but I wind most of my acrylic yarn right away because I have more issues with it tangling.
Great video, I recommend not winding yarn that is already in a skein. I have heard that it’s better for the yarn to stay in its original form until you use it. But if you have just a little bit of yarn left in the skein you could wind that into a loose cake. I have heard that if you wind yarn too tight it can damage the yarn over time. Also not crochet related but your hair is soooo beautiful! ❤️
I've heard of this as well, but as someone to winds up most of my yarn into cakes because it fits better in limited storage, I've never had an issue with the yarn being harder to work with afterwards. Maybe it's more of a issue with natural fibers? Most of my yarn is acrylic or polyester.
I love the glitz but a word of caution the tinsel does come off like crazy so it’s handy to have a lint roller nearby because it can get messy very quickly. I just made a dragon with the white glitz and I’m still finding tinsel everywhere 😂. I love the gingerbread patterns they’re adorable! ❤
I've been considering getting a yarn winder for when my yarn starts becoming a messy pile. So maybe you could do the same? Just have it for when you're like half way through a skein and it's starting to look like a yarn monster.
Love seeing all the yarns. Thank you for sharing.😊

Love the gingerbread couple!!! I will definitely be purchasing haha!!
I love that your patterns do work up bigger than most creators when using bernat.
I’m glad! I’ve had a lot of people say the opposite so it’s hard to know!

Have you tried the Parfait chunky Fruits? It is really nice. I'm loving working with it.😼
I haven’t tried to yet! Is it the same thickness as regular parfait chunky?
@@wondercrochet It says it is a 6, but it seems a little thin for that. I'd say, it is the same.
