One thing I make with my mini balls of scrap that I have left over, is something I call a scrapghan. An Afghan made out of scraps. It has a really quaint old fashioned look, and I have made several of them for friends, and also some for people's pets.

I started hiding the ling tails inside amis instead of cutting them off. The few that I do cut off go in a small tin and I use as accents on projects. Ends of balls of colours I no longer have end up in a bucket and used for scrappy owls or hamsters. ends of colours I have more of...go with another skein of the same yarn. Using them for stuffing is also a good idea.

I had a whole heap of scraps of the blanket yarn in different colours and made heaps of little fish out of it ,they were so adorable lol,oh and I keep seeing those little birds/chickens made out of granny squares,they would use up a lot of scraps too 😀...at the moment iv been listening to forensic files on Netflix as I crochet.

Last summer I was making a lot of smaller amigurumi to sell, and ending up with scraps of various lengths in the plush/chenille yarns. I used those scraps up on my favorite no-sew octopus pattern. They turned out really cute. Sometimes there was several rows of the same color, sometimes only 4 or 5 stitches. But they made a unique look, and they sold pretty quickly. Those plush yarns of yours in the smaller lengths would work great for making a scraptopus! Ha ha...

With my scraps of yarn, I use them in the very center of my plushies surrounded by polyfil as well I especially do this when I am pattern testing, not necessarily on anything I sell. I did have a customer add my sample "egg" to go with her Mamma Mabel and chicks that I told her had yarn scraps in it. She did not care!
